Villa Summer Breeze liegt im südlichsten Zipfel von Cape Coral in der Nähe des Cape Harbour. Es ist eine der besten und begehrtesten Wohngegenden in Cape Coral. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Ärzte, Apotheken etc. sind fußläufig oder mit den vorhandenen Fahrrädern erreichbar.

Unsere Villa wurde 2020 umfassend renoviert. Alle Möbel und Geräte sind neu. Auch der Poolbereich wurde neu gestaltet und bietet nun absolute Privatsphäre. Zudem ist der Pool mit einer Solaranlage und Poolabdeckung ausgestattet, um die Energiekosten niedrig zu halten.

Vom eleganten, lichtdurchfluteten Wohnzimmer (mit 60‘LCD + DVD-Player) genießt man den Blick auf den großen Pool und den tropischen Garten. Die Glasschiebetüren lassen sich beide komplett öffnen, so dass ein tolles Innen-Außen-Gefühl entsteht.

Neben dem großen Masterschlafzimmer (42‘LCD) mit Kingsize-Bett und begehbarem Kleiderschrank gibt es im 2. Schlafzimmer ein Queensize-Bett und im 3. Schlafzimmer zwei Einzelbetten.

Im Masterschlafzimmer befindet sich das große Badezimmer mit Doppelwaschtisch und großzügiger Dusche. Vom Gäste-WC mit Badewanne haben Sie direkten Zugang zum Pool.

Poolblick haben Sie auch von der komplett neuen Küche mit Backofen, Herd mit Cerankochfeld, Kühlschrank mit Eisspender und Mikrowelle.

Vom Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer, Masterschlafzimmer und dem Gäste-WC haben Sie direkten Zugang zum Pool.

Des Weiteren steht Ihnen im gesamten Haus kostenloses WLAN zur Verfügung.

I was not made aware of having to pay for the electric until after I booked it. I don’t know what’s the norm for these rentals, but since it was basically fully equipped I would have thought there would have been laundry detergent, saran wrap, and more than 2 trashbags, and 2 dishwasher pods for a week’s stay.

Thank you for your feedback. However, some of the statements made in this review are not entirely accurate. The electricity charge is clearly disclosed in the House Rules prior to booking. In addition, our rental agreement and booking confirmation explain this again in detail immediately after the reservation is made. Guests also have a free cancellation period after booking, which provides ample time to review all terms and cancel without penalty if they are not acceptable. Regarding the supplies provided: this is a vacation rental with a self-catering concept rather than a full-service hotel. As is common for vacation rentals, we provide a starter set of essentials to help guests settle in comfortably, including toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher pods, complimentary cold drinks, and several additional convenience items. The intention is to provide guests with enough supplies for the beginning of their stay, while longer stays may require guests to purchase additional personal or household items based on their individual needs and usage. For that reason, we do not believe it is accurate to suggest that the property was lacking basic supplies upon arrival, as a variety of starter items were in fact provided.

Perfect vacation!

This property was great for a vacation! Not too far from attractions in the area and is in a quiet area. Loved the pool and being able to lounge in the screened in pool area. Very spacious interior and was very happy with it overall. Would definitely stay here again!

Short but Sweet

Unfortunately my stay was cut short as my other visitors never showed. But the home was as advertised and was presented in a clean and welcoming manner. The neighborhood location was safe and convenient. The pool was refreshing with ample space for lounging to work on your tan. Overall, the property was great value for the money

There are no cons to this property, but I’d love to highlight some of the perks. The kitchen is stocked with dishes/pots/pans etc. it’s a drip coffee maker so don’t pick up pods at the store:) Publix is down the street so you can grab what you need. Plenty of towels (pool towels as well)! It’s close to everything but still in a nice quiet neighborhood. Management company if very helpful and communicative as needed. Everything looked and worked as advertised. If you like a soft mattress the master bed is very soft, but if you like a firmer mattress one of the guest bedrooms works just fine! Bring your own toiletries and pick up some necessary sundries on your way, but you have everything there you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Very clean!!! Great experience all around. We will definitely be back!

The location was perfect for my needs. The house is in need of minor maintenance, and more frequent or better bug service. I am born and raised in Florida and am well aware of the expectation of bugs, this was a daily battle. The house had everything I could have needed and the furnishings were very nice. The local mgmt co did their best to remedy the issues, but it was never quite resolved.

Please let me clarify for justification some of your issues. You were here in January. We had 40° at night and barely 60° during the day. We had ice on our windshields. There is no way to heat up the pool to your desired 86° degrees Sir. No pool in entire Cape Coral had 90° at this time. We never heard anything about uncomfortable beds from any guest before and also not from you while you were here. We will ask future guests but the previous 40 five-star-reviewers were very happy with the beds.

Nice home but far from everything

This home was very clean and comfortable. Nice neighborhood. Further from Ft Meyers and Naples than we thought. Took a while to get on and off the island. The pool was too cold to use and not heated Overall fine, just not right for us since we need a more central location to go to Naples, Sanibel etc

This pool is heated and also has a pool cover to keep the heat in. We could have helped you and made your stay more comfortable. As for the location, you can see the house on a map and the distance from fort Myers, Naples etc. before you book.

Perfect house for a quick getaway

This house had everything we needed for a quick getaway. The house was spacious and comfortable. The outdoor area was amazing not only to relax, but also to get some work done in the sunshine. The WiFi had excellent connection and there was no lag in any teams calls I was on. The neighborhood and surrounding area is nice, quiet and VERY close to a Publix. The check in process was different than any other I’ve experienced before, but still very appreciated. The property manager came over to make sure everything was in working order. I really enjoyed my stay, felt safe on my first mostly solo trip, and was assured that any issues (if there were any, which there were not) would be addressed promptly and professionally. I even had a number that I could text if I needed anything. The only feedback/advice I have for future guests is to bring a laptop/iPad if you like to watch tv/movies. The tv and streaming situation isn’t great.

We were disappointed that the garage was locked keeping us from using bikes that were advertised, broken blinds, a few burnt out lights, pool not clean, long black hairs were in the towels and floor.

House was nice but....

Overall very nice but terrible checking with wrong pass code. On the App. and website The only Telephone number mentioned was the owner in Germany which was wrong too and unreachable at this time. We had to find and call the customer service VRBO number to finally be in contact with The property manager in the US.

Clean home in a quiet neighborhood

This 3 BR home has 1 King, 1 Queen (not 2 Kings as advertised) and 2 twins. It is a very nice, clean house with a private pool. The kitchen was very well equipped and had almost everything we required. You will need extra paper towels, garbage bags and toilet paper. There are absolutely no instructions for operating the television and although there was an HDMI cable, there was no clear way to make it work. There were no instructions about garbage pickup either. The garage is not accessible to renters. I would stay in this house again.

Bad experience

I couldn’t even begin to list all the things that were wrong. But just a few washer didn’t work, sliding glass doors to pool didn’t work had cracks in glass and we were afraid to open them a leaking toilet no hot water. I could keep going. But most of all when we reported it the management didn’t seem to care.

Good home with some minor issues

The home was spacious and is conveniently located closer to restaurants and grocery stores. There were a couple of issues. The master bedroom mattress is past its prime. It sinks in on one side. There was a very strong stagnated smell when we entered the property and we soon realized that it was due to washer that wasn’t cleaned ever. The stay became better once we cleaned the washer. The pool water temperature was little cold for our comfort. The home is beautiful and we had a decent stay. Kids had a few toys to play with and they loved their bedroom .The property manager was great too!

So thank you for taking the time and writing the review. After your departure we checked the mattress and have to agree with you. We ordered a new mattress after your stay and replaced the bad one. We apologize about the washer as it should've been cleaned prior to your arrival. We have since stated in our procedures with our house cleaners that our washers should be thoroughly cleaned before a check-in to avoid this issue.

It was ok

Property was ok. No hot water until the next day at 1pm. Maintenance man, can't remember his name but he was really great help. Back sliding glass doors wouldn't lock so he fixed that also. Only a few local channels on tv. No netflix and internet had u tube but kept pausing the whole time. No hot water the morning of check out again so had to ride home dirty. I was shovy the maintenance man how to fix it but checkout was 10 and no time for water to heatup. Only used one bedroom and one bathroom so everything else was clean

Regarding the internet, we were unfortunately unable to verify any ongoing issues. All TVs in the house were able to stream YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Prime without problems, so it seems this may have been a temporary regional connectivity issue. Over the past year, we have hosted many guests and have not encountered similar reports regarding internet speed. We made the best of it

We arrived at 11 and asked for early check in and was told would need to pay $75 to check in then or I could wait til 2 for no fee. Waited until 2 & went back and was told I would need to pay 75 or wait until 4. They didn’t know who I spoke to earlier. But we would have done an activity if I knew we would have to wait to more hours. The property is not fixed all the way from Ian. There are brown stains on several ceilings, the screen fence is no longer there so you will have lots of bugs in the pool. The sliding doors are broken. We were not told to open them and it almost fell on my husband. Thankfully when I called the property manager she advised she knew it was broken and would send someone to fix it. The maintenance person came the next day and screwed the door together so it won’t open at all. I wasn’t aware that we would be responsible for the electricity. There was only 1 wash cloth even though the reservation was for 2 people for a week. There is no hot water in the 2nd bathroom. The bathroom window in the master is broken and I assume that is where the lizards kept coming in. Check out was at 10 but they were knocking on the door a few minutes after 9 and I asked her multiple times to give us until 10 since I was not even dressed. She reluctantly agreed. We did enjoy sitting out back and the pool. The majority of our time was spent at beaches which was why our trip was good.

Disappointed

The description and photos are misleading. Photo lens and filters make home look larger inside and more extravagant. There were no blinds on one of the front glass doors and no blinds on the entire glass wall leading to pool. Anchor holes in wall where mirror used to hang in living room. Shower door sticks excessively making it difficult to get out. Bathroom window doesn’t lock, safety concern. Pool was dirty with mulch in bottom and algae on sides. Large blue plastic wadded up lying in backyard. No privacy in backyard. No bicycles accessible. Restaurants approximately 4-5 miles away. Many pieces of furniture different than pictures. One of the glass panels was loose and could easily be pushed out of frame. Door code didn’t work, took 20 minutes for property manager to call us back. PM stated she would be by the next day to show us how things worked at 10 am. Didn’t show up until after 2 and never called or texted she was running late. We felt her coming by at all was intrusive. By the time she arrived we were annoyed that she was there, that she was late and didn’t call, and that there were so many issues with the house. We stated all the concerns listed above and asked what her purpose in being there in person was. She stated it was to welcome us and to check us in. We checked in online. She also checked the grill propane tanks to see if they were full. That should have been done before our arrival. She left abruptly because we were questioning her purpose in being there and stating all of our issues with the house. She said she was sending someone by to fix glass panel even though we asked her to wait until we left. However, they never did. She was unprofessional and rude. Not worth the extra charge for electricity used, or dealing with intrusive PM and other issues listed.

Thank you for your review. We usually appreciate any feedback, even if it is not always positive for us, because this feedback also helps us to improve our service. But let me explain a few things so potential new customers will know why you didn't like it. Until Cindy moved out, there were no complaints at all and only positive feedback. When she checked out, there were 6 people in the house instead of 2, the grill looked as if a pot of chilli had exploded in it and it turned out that the electricity costs were excessive and there would be an additional payment, everything went downhill from there. Dear Cindy, we understand that you don't like our terms & conditions. However, we explained these openly and honestly before booking. We did that again at check in. By the way most of our customers really appreciate this service, since our property managers are always happy to give tips for restaurants or events in the area. In addition, every customer has a direct contact person on site if something should go wrong. So dear Cindy, as mentioned, we understand that you may not like our rental terms, but it's nothing you didn't know before booking. To all potential new customers, I hope you can put things in perspective after this reply. Revenge ratings on the internet are unfortunately unavoidable. der perfekte Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Haus

Wir hatten einen tollen Familien Urlaub. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Es gibt sehr viele Spielzeuge. Unser Sohn (3j) war die ersten 2 Tage nur mit spielen beschäftigt. Es gibt Sandspielzeuge für den Strand und sogar Matratzen für den Pool. Das Check-in und Check-out war unkompliziert und Björn ist sehr nett und sympatisch. Wir würden jeder Zeit nochmal buchen und können das Haus empfehlen.

Gut eingerichtetes Haus mit genügend Platz für eine 5-köpfige Familie (2 Erwachsene + 3 Kinder). Unkomplizierte Buchung des Hauses über die deutschsprechende Hausverwaltung, die man jederzeit (vor dem Urlaub) kontaktieren konnte. Kurzum ein Urlaub, den wir so wieder dort machen würden.

Wir waren für 9 Tage in diesem Haus und uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Größe des Hauses war ideal für uns (wir waren zu dritt), es war überdurchschnittlich ausgestattet, wir waren vor allem von der Küche sehr angetan. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden und die Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Man fühlt sich im gesamten Haus und auch draußen auf der Terrasse sehr wohl. Auch die Betten waren prima, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen, alles war sehr sauber. Der W-Lan Empfang (für unser Tochter absolut lebensnotwendig:-) war im gesamten Haus hervorragend. Die Lage ist nur ein paar Minuten von einem Supermarkt weg, sehr ruhig in einer Wohnanlage. Von den Nachbarn haben wir so gut wie nichts mitbekommen. Das einzige was leider nicht gepasst hat, war die Benutzung des Grills. Die war während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht möglich. Beide Flaschen waren leer, der Grill war nicht gereinigt und darüberhinaus war auch die Zündung defekt:-( Schade, da ich ein absoluter Grillfan bin. Dem Eigentümer war das gar nicht wirklich bewußt, hier sollte die Hausverwaltung genauer prüfen, der Punkt wird ja definitiv beim Ein- und Auszug erwähnt und sogar berechnet wenn der Grill nicht gereinigt ist. Ansonsten aber ein sehr schöner Urlaub und wir würden jederzeit wieder eins der Häuser von Björn nehmen. An dieser Stelle dann noch der Hinweis, das Strom separat bezahlt werden muss. Wir hatten für die 9 Tage einen Betrag von 70 $ der absolut in Ordnung geht. Danke und ich hoffe bis bald mal wieder.

Das Haus ist gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles für einen perfekten Urlaub. Schöner, sauberer und grosser Pool. Grosser Grill. Gut eingerichtete Küche. Ruhige Lage und doch ist alles was man braucht in ein paar Minuten erreichbar.
