Clearly the owner wants a five star review, however he needs to stay at properties that offer 5 star accommodations and service to understand what that deserves. First of all, this is a very nice home built a hundred years ago that sits off of Ward Parkway, not on Ward parkway. It's a beautiful Tudor in a wonderful neighborhood. With that being said, they have done a good job at keeping it up. However, the details are where it gets sketchy. None of the doors actually close properly, you'll see this when you stay. One of the patio doors to the outside is zip tied shut, not locked because it simply doesn't shut. The outside viewing room is unusable it's so dirty. The toilet seats were all coming off, in fact I had to personally get down and fix one of them so that our kids didn't fall off of the toilet. The owner is unavailable via the phone and only wants to communicate via the VRBO messaging service which is super annoying. We stay at a lot of VRBO's around the country and all of the owners/managers are available over the phone. We actually talk to them prior to and during the visit. This owner made it very clear from the beginning that he wasn't available to talk. There was no house warming present, which is very common amoung 5 star VRBO's. And lastly this place needs a good cleaning, it's about time to give it a spring clean up.
