Spacious, open floor plan perfect for large group gatherings! Large yard with additional camper hook ups on site. (There is an additional $50 per night camping fee for each space, contact owner for more information). 2 patios and fire pits, and hot tub/jacuzzi. Lots of room for yard games. 1 mile from downtown Spicer and 3 of the areas most popular lakes (Green Lake, Nest Lake and George Lake). 3 miles from downtown New London with lots of shops and scenery. This property sits back off CR 32 with lots of privacy, peace and quiet. Plenty of hiking/biking and horse trails right around the corner. **This property is our home so things are not perfect, BUT they are clean.

Wonderful place for family get-together!

This is a karge property with lots of activities for all. It wasn’t far from Green Lake beach and the owner was very easy to work with.

Family Trip

Three families stayed together for an extended weekend away. The kids had a fantastic time. The adults loved how entertained the kids were on property and that we could all stay together. All in all it was a lovely time. Many memories made.

Family get away

Lots of activities for kids and grandkids. Pool and indoor basketball court were big hits. Lots of room for yard games. 8 adults 3 kids and a dog. Plenty of room for everyone.

Great place for a family gathering!

This was the perfect size location for our family of 13 (ranging in ages from 1-62). There was something for everyone to do on the property and in the surrounding areas. We were close to lots of fun activities. We utilized everything the Hanson's provided on site. They were easy to communicate with.

Great Location!

Our family of 17 enjoyed our stay at this VRBO! Loved the pool and hot tub. Plenty of outdoor and indoor space. Very close to walking and bicycle trail and Green Lake for beach and boating. We will definitely come again if we are in the area. Side Note: They do have a water cooler and have water jugs delivered.

Family Reunion

Our stay was very nice. The property offered everything we needed to enjoy our time in Minnesota. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate but we made the best of it. We did not get a chance to use the pool due to the weather. The proximity to the state trail was a real bonus. Thanks again for sharing your home.

Great place to stay!

This was perfect for the 3 families that met here. Kitchen was spacious, never found coffee cups. We had a few issues with the TV but probably operator error. All in all a great place to get away. Very peaceful. I’m not sure how they dealt with the Minnesota bugs but they certainly found a solution that worked. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home.

A Great Get Away

The property was prefect for my family and friends get away. The pool was a plus and the kids enjoyed it very much. We enjoyed the basketball court outside. The area was big enough for us to play outdoor games. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. We did found some bed bug bite on ourselves during the weekend. Other than that, I am already recommending this property to my close friends and family.

Kathy, We are happy you enjoyed your stay. We are also concerned about comments about bed bugs. None of our previous guests have informed us of any bed bugs and when we asked our most recent guests if they experienced any bed bites they responded with “We used all the beds and there definitely weren’t any bed bugs”. Ourselves and the cleaning crew also throughly inspected all the beds and found no signs of them.

4 night stay

We all loved the property. It was very clean when we arrived. The layout was perfect for our crew. It is also great you allow pets. They had a great time too. We left condiments and dishsoap for the next group. Think about leaving more toilet paper. We had a group of 15. Also leave out a broom and mop in case of spills. Overall we agreed it was the best VRBO we have stayed at.

Great location for family getaway

Great overall, accurately described, etc. The one thing I’ll highlight is that the host was super responsive. We had a problem with an appliance and rather than dink around with it or make us wait for a repair tech (this was over the 4th of July weekend) he just went to the store and bought a new one. It was much appreciated.

Absolutely beautiful property!

The property was well equipped, and had ample bedding and towels for our group of 10 adults and two kids. Our only challenge was that the listing originally said there was a futon and a sofa sleeper in the Rec Room, but there were neither, which put us a little short of beds. The owners told us where to find a Twin mattress, which worked very well, and they also purchased on short notice a high quality blow up bed with new bedding and pillows. This was a wonderful solution to our problem, and all were happy. The pool and jacuzzi were in high demand for our group, and we enjoyed s'mores cooked on one of the fire pits. It really is a perfect place for a large group; plenty of seating (some inside, some outside), very comfortable beds, very clean and modern.

Girls Weekend Away

The property accommodated 7 women with everyone having there own space. That was nice. The pool, hot tub and yard area was great for our outdoor activities. Unfortunately, we had some issues with cleanliness (dirty dishes left in dishwasher, wet laundry left in washer - smelled bad, dirty socks and wrappers under furniture). We also had to have a plumber out during our visit as we had a very leaky toilet. Ceiling fan didn't work and back door didn't lock properly. The owners were responsive but, I feel like the issues should have been addressed prior to our arrival.

There really is nothing to not like about where you spend your time on this property. Very secluded, quiet, and a large area to enjoy the outdoors. A swimming pool and hot tub are very nice extras. The house has plenty of space, and individual bedrooms with additional sleeping space. Unfortunately, as good as all the good is, there are issues. Broken cupboards, lack of toilet paper, whoever does the cleaning does not do a very complete job. There was a lot of dog hair, and you could tell the furniture had not been moved and cleaned under in quite some time. Dishes remained in the dishwasher. We took lots of pictures as the owner did not go through the house with us, so it is the only way to guarantee things were the way they were when we got there. And, with a sizable damage deposit, we were a bit nervous. As great as this place is, or can be, it just needs some care and upkeep.

Great time

We had a great time! Kids and adults all enjoyed the pool and hot tub, yard games, and fire pit! The house was great and clean! The only thing was we couldnt really figure out the tv, there was no toilet paper or any hand soap in the bathrooms. Overall, thanks for a wonderful stay!! Oh, and if you walk on the path in the backyard, you’ll be surprised to see a creepy shed with clear walls!! Hahaha-the adults are curious what that is used for!

Great get away

We loved our stay at this property. Great amenities. Super close to Zorbas, beach, and boat launch . Not great internet service but to everyone besides the kids that was actually a blessing. Maybe a dvd player hooked up to the tv or projector for movie time before bed. But the kids had a great time on playground, pool and the adults loved the hottub. Plenty of spots to sleep for all 12 of us plenty of yard to play in. Would certainly recommend to others and consider returning for future vacations. Thank you to the owners for being available to come help and sharing your space.
