Two bedrooms each with their own bathroom will make your stay a private and peaceful one. A quant kitchen area is separated from a large living space that opens up to breathtaking views. 2 large jet roofs creates an outdoor experience in a comfortable lounge space.     This place was beautiful, and Donna really is a superhost. We had some challenges with a mini-storm on the first night that affected power in the area but Donna was prepared and kept great communication the whole time. The views are wonderful and there are many attractions near enough. We had a really great stay.

    Nice cabin

    The cabin is on the top of mountain and has great views to the bay. It might be hard to get up when it is raining but we managed even without a 4x4. Donna is a very nice lady and helped us out planning what to do around. in Port Antonio.

    The property is a tucked away treasure. Donna was a gracious host - great communication, very friendly, and helpful. I would recommend a SUV for your journey as the roads are steep, but the view makes it worth it. Thanks Donna for a lovely stay.

    Gorgeous views from a comfy sanctuary

    Nestled in a hillside, this property is a comfortable sanctuary. We enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the perfect views of Port Antonio harbour and the mountains while our teens were relaxing on the comfy sofa inside. Interior is comfortable and offers most everything you need for a self-catering holiday. And if there is something we needed, Donna helped us right away! As others have mentioned, one needs a sturdy vehicle to get up this hill, but this location is perfect for visiting the Portland area and being in close reach of Port Antonio.

    What a wonderful peaceful place. Donna is such a great host and made our stay a unforgettable experience. She was so helpful and catered to all our needs. The place has breathtaking views and very beautiful. The hill is very steep to drive up so make sure you have the proper vehicle to get up. Also if your not use to having AC be prepared because it can get hot sometimes especially in the summer months. But other than that I give this place 5 stars and definitely recommend!!!

    Beautiful house with a breathtaking view

    We enjoyed our stay at Donnaa house very much. The view as well as the house is incredible. The kitchen offers all you need and the rooms are spacous and airy. My friend was ill but Donna helped us quick and was always here when we needed something. The only hard thing was the last bit of the road which is very steep. We had a little 4x2 car and made it up bit next time we would defenitely follow Donnas advice and rent a 4x4. However, we where very happy and if you want to stay in one of the best places in Port Antonio, choose this great house!

    Must see to believe

    This property is amazing. The views are breathtaking and unmatched. The house looks just like the photos on the site. Actually, those pictures don't do it justice. Its on an actual MOUNTAIN. If you are looking for a peaceful, secure, elegant, place to stay, look no further. The hostess, Donna is so helpful and kind. She doesn't bother you. But she is very responsive should you need anything. The driver, Sala, is amazing and is a great guide. He knows the best places to eat, shop, swim, and everything else. This experience was the best I have ever had in Jamaica. And I have visited many times. Don't hesitate to book this property. You will not be disappointed.

    I spent 3 weeks at the Villa with my mom and brother and we had a great time. Portland is a beautiful parish so being in the hillside with the panoramic views overlooking Portlands beauty was just breath taking. Donna is a very gracious host, very accommodating and responsive. Communicating with Donna before we even left for JA and during our time there was easy and pleasant. Donna made sure to provide useful information in the villa such as local places to eat, nearby beaches etc. On our first morning she drove us in to the town so that we could buy our groceries as the hill up to the villa is not really one you want to be carrying heavy bags up. The trek up to the villa is quite the workout but a few days in and we were walking that hill for fun and well...the views once you get up there make it all worthwhile. The villa is very spacious and the balcony is a great place to chill, drink, eat and take in the sun and views. During our first week we had a lot of stormy weather that delayed some of our plans. However, watching the storms from the villa was amazing, being there and seeing so much happening in the sky and over the landscape. The Villa pretty much has everything you need for a short stay but as we were there for so long, a few additional bits would have been great but we managed regardless. There is no aircon so it does get very warm in there. Salla the driver was great also and took us on a few trips. We would definitely stay again, Thank you Donna and Salla xx

    TERRIBLE - Beware of Scam

    Please think twice before booking this space! It is located up a treacherous hill so if you do not have an able vehicle it is nearly inaccessible (and not to mention very dangerous especially in rainy season!!). We arrived at the top of the hill sweaty and hearts pounding to be told that the space we booked was still occupied by guests as the host had made a mistake and double booked. She told us this in person, not at the time of booking which felt very shady. Donna, the onsite host, tried to offer us 2 red stripe beers to make up for the mixup. I paid full price for the WHOLE space only to be greeted with this unpleasant surprise. She tried to keep my full payment for the night and the other couples. VERY SHADY. Between the extra guest surprise and the lack of information about the drive up we decided to leave as we could not change damaging my partners car on any of the huge rocks on the road up. After reporting this to customer support Kamal, the owner, claimed that I reported a false claim and the space was not shared. The hosts made a plethora of mistakes and caused us great inconvenience and I still haven't gotten a full refund. This listing is a scam. Save your money and stay elsewhere. NOT WORTH IT.

    I'm terribly sorry that your experience was not to your expectations. I personally strive for the upmost guest experience. To hear your stay fell short of that both disappoints and surprises me. Now to be fair our property is stated to be "nestled" in a hilltop. Countless guests have expressed no issues with this. It's what actually makes the view worthwhile and memorable. The guest, Rebecca was completely DEMANDING & PRETENTIOUS from the moment she reached the property. She was greeted with refreshments, yet was impolite AND RUDE to staff. She used a simple mixup that was rectified rather quickly as a way for her and her "PARTNER" to get a FREE stay. She also threatened the onsite host with a NEGATIVE review in exchange for a refund. I honestly believe this was their INTENT from the very start. It appears they orchestrate SCHEMES similar to this to unsuspecting hosts. I've never encountered anything like this. I hope VRBO will do better at weeding out guests that prey upon new hosts.

    Wenn man die abenteuerliche steile Auffahrt geschafft hat begrüßt einem Donna, die freundliche und hilfsbereite Besitzerin. Das Raumkonzept mit den vielen Fenster ist grandios. Der Zustand und die Sauberkeit entspricht dem Landesschnitt, halt Jamaika-Stil. Wir würden wieder buchen.

    Great Hideaway

    Nestled in the hills of Port Antonio overlooking the great scenery of the bay and homes of locals this villa gives you a great balance of Port Antonio Jamaica. It's a perfect location for everything from the hustle and bustle of the town to surrounding beaches and tourist spots. Ms. Donna was our host and greeted us with some lovely refreshing drinks of turmeric, ginger and white rum great way to start our evening. She recommended places that we should visit for food which enhanced our experience. Overall I will stay there again and recommend to anyone that if you decided to visit Port Antonio this is the place to stay. Thank you for a great stay.
