Comfortable and convenient

Easy access to all things in and south of the Fort Worth Area. Plenty of space, comfortable beds and sitting areas, and clean rooms.

Unfortunately not the best stay.

Property was very much just a income generator for the hosts. Walls had holes in the walls, random cords going thru the walls, and trash still in the bin outside from previous guests. There was a strange power cord coming out of the wall that was powering something, but I could never find out what it was. AC in the property didn’t work properly and the home was warm all day. It only cooled off in the early morning hours. Hosts had it set to automatically set itself to 78 degrees unless manually changed every few hours. They had a portable unit set up in the living room, but it was loud and obnoxious. Even the oscillating fans they put in the kids rooms didn’t help, and one of them was broken. The water in the master bath could not be controlled normally. It was either too hot or too cold. It was not able to be set to a normal warm temperature. Property had a list of rules that frankly was ridiculous and impacted our ability to feel at home.

We have hosted dozens of guests at this home many of whom loved it so much they have come back several times. It is our goal to provide a pleasant comfortable experience for our guests and if Caleb had mentioned his concerns before he had already checked out we would have been happy to have someone come by and address them. During the dates of his stay this area was under extreme heat warnings by the state of Texas and the outside temp was over 110degF. This home AC unit has recently been inspected by a technician and given a clean bill of health, but those temps are a difficult challenge for any home AC and so we also provided a portable AC unit and fans to help keep guests comfortable. The thermostat is unlocked and the schedule open to adjustment by guests as needed. When Caleb brought up his concerns after he had already checked out, we offered him a discount off his stay, however he became extremely unpleasant and tried to threaten us saying he would leave us an extremely bad review if we did not give him MORE money. We did not, and here is his review.

We are so excited to host you during your stay! We've done a lot of traveling around the U.S. as a family and we know what things are great to have when traveling with kids. We love the experience AirBNB has provided being able to stay in a full sized home with all the amenities of a home that a hotel can't provide.
