Relish in this spacious two bedroom condo that is only 1.5 miles away from downtown Traverse City! Intentionally designed with modern furnishings, this chic unit is perfect for friends and family to come enjoy everything that Traverse City has to offer.

The Space:
This fourth floor unit has everything that you need to enjoy a comfortable stay in Traverse City. Walk into our master bedroom that has a queen size bed and a walk-in closet to fit all of your belongings (or new purchases). The master bedroom also has a flat screen tv and an ensuite bathroom, stocked with toiletry essentials.

The guest bedroom has a queen bed along with a flat screen tv and a walk-in closet to store your belongings. Don't worry if you decide to extend your stay, this suite comes with their own washer and dryer along with basic laundry supplies.

In the living room you will find cozy furniture with a large flat screen tv. Trailside45 is a mile and a half away from downtown, known for their delicious restaurants. If you choose to stay in for a night, the kitchen is stocked with all of the kitchen essentials (utensils, basic cookware, dishes, keurig). A few K-cups will be provided to get your vacation started on the right foot.

TC Getaway

Quick trip to attend the TC trail fest. Unit was perfect for our needs. Only downside was the street noise. Couldn’t sleep with the windows open, too loud. Otherwise great!

Comfortable and convenient place to stay in TC

We were in town for an event at the TC Curling Club. The condo was very convenient to the club. The building has a community room so we could get together with other teams staying in the building.The unit was clean however, the elevator and hallways smelled like marijuana. The unit was roomy enough for our group. Nice big closets in each room made it easy to unpack and hang or put clothing on closet shelves. The kitchen had dishes and utensils we needed. The kitchen has some spices and a coffee maker (with some coffee pods and tea bags). There were plenty of towels and bedding. The unit also has 1 hairdryer, tissue, TP, paper towels, dishwasher pods, soap and shampoo but nothing else so bring any kitchen or bath items you will need. The bed were comfortably firm. The pillows were soft for me (I like a firm pillow). The water pressure in the shower was very low but there was plenty of hot water. The unit does face the main road so it is a bit noisy in the AM when traffic picks up. We plan to stay at Trailside again when we are in TC next month.

This condo was rented for a girls weekend for 4 high school friends in their 50’s. This unit was comfortable and stocked with everything we needed for a short stay. Would definitely stay again.

4 day stay for death in the family

The unit was clean, and well stocked, very comfortable and well laid out, conveniently located. But, it smelled like smoke and there was an issue with one of the toilets where it did not flush using the flush handle. You had to manually stick your hand in the top tank and lift the plunger arm. When you did that, the plunger popped loose and splashed toilet water everywhere. Maintenance was prompt, but the property manager told Me that was just how toilets were installed in this building. After maintenance fixed the issue, the toilet would fill every 30 seconds or so.

Winter getaway

Took a 5 day short trip to Traverse City hopefully to get in some snow time. The stay was great. The apartment was very clean and up to date. Everything was labeled clearly. Not a lot to walk to especially in the cold weather but can't beat the price.

Nice condo in a good location

This place is on a good location for experiencing Traverse City. It is close to town and restaurants. The parking is easy. The place has a lot of space and two nice bathrooms. There were enough towels and the kitchen had enough things for a two night stay. It wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it to be. The carpet in the bedrooms is very dirty and probably should be replaced.

Not as close as you think.

Great property but not as close to downtown TC as you may think from the listing description. We are very athletic, fast walkers and it took us 30-25 minutes to get to the heart of the city. The building is nice and the living space is quiet which was very nice.

Great stay

We had a family weekend to tour some wineries. This condo was lovely. Accommodated 5 of us. Well stocked and a great location to get where we needed to go. Also, the TART trail is right at the end of the parking lot so I could get my walk in. Riley was very easy to work with!

Nice place, noisy

Property was clean and nicely laid out. Guests staying there made nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep with late night noise as well as a noisy street outside. Beds were not that comfortable making harder to get a good night's sleep.

Clean, modern & close to downtown

Very pleased with how clean the unit was. Modern decor as pictured however the couch was much larger than the one in picture. Having two comfortable bedrooms with bathrooms for two friends was perfect for us. If you have a car the drive to downtown is very short & easy. The elevator wasn’t working & unit was on 4th floor. The property is maintained by someone other then who we booked with. We couldn’t figure out why the elevator wasn’t working (no “out of service” signs posted). Eventually a passerby told us when they overheard us talking about it. It would have been nice if we were notified ahead of time. The elevator never got fixed during our two night stay, not within the booking agents control. We were able to do the stairs no problem without luggage but with luggage it was more challenging. That is the only reason overall rating isn’t at 5.

Super clean, comfortable stay

The property was super clean, check in and check out was very easy. It had everything we needed for a quick stay. The elevator was out when we were there which is not the hosts fault, so I don’t hold that against them. That was the only though part of the stay. An added bonus was the check out process was easier than most. Most hosts have a whole page on what they want you to do before you leave. This property had none of that, the instructions were just, make sure to take all of your things, our cleaning crew will take care of the rest. Awesome! If I’m ever in the area again, I hope to get this place, and I hope I can stay longer next time. The city is beautiful and full of good restaurants and fun things to do.

Disappointing Stay: Non-Operational Elevator and AC, Unresolved Issues

We rented this VRBO for two couples, selecting this property as it was advertised to have an elevator. One couple would not be able to access the fourth-floor property without it. Unfortunately, we were informed that the elevator was not operational, making access impossible for them. Additionally, upon arrival, we found the property uncomfortably warm as the AC was also not working. Our contact instructed us to lower the AC temperature incrementally, but this did not resolve the issue. After multiple attempts to speak with our contact, all we received was a suggestion to open a window. Despite being told a maintenance order was placed, two days later, the contact confirmed the AC issue had only just been reported and had no timeline for a fix. Our requests to cancel or find an alternative solution on the first night were ignored. While the property itself was clean and well-stocked, and the contact was responsive to other inquiries, the lack of resolution for these critical issues overshadowed our stay.
