Communication was great. Our stay was peaceful and quiet. The cabin is definitely out there but well worth the drive. Having a wood burning fireplace and a hot tub was a great option to fully unwind. The cabin was stocked with lots of extras and made it feel like a home away from home.

Great place! The surrounding woods are lovely and peaceful, the cabin has a stocked kitchen with all the tools you’ll need, the whole place was cozy and comfortable. The hosts are kind and accommodating. We had five adults and felt like there was plenty of space for us. Hot tub was a big bonus!

Very clean and well supplied place! There was all kinds of kitchen equipment as well as a small pantry with cans, rice, seasonings, etc. The carpets look brand new (we were very impressed by how clean they were). The location and scenery were beautiful and very quiet and secluded. The fireplace is wonderful if chilly outside, it WILL heat the whole house if you get it nice and hot for a while. We didn’t even need to use the heater at night. The hot tub is amazing!! If it’s cold outside make sure you start heating it up as soon as you get there! It can take a while to get hot.

Cabin is located in a beautiful, wooded area. The hot tub was a nice relaxation spot at the end of busy days sightseeing. The amenities in the house were perfect, we had everything we needed to feel comfortable during our stay.

We loved everything about this lovely property; but be aware that it is a long way from highway 24. We enjoy cooking our own meals, but if you are a "go out to eat " person, this might not be the best place for you. The new hot tub was delightful.

The communication for the cabin was superb! When we arrived the cabin was very clean and just beautiful. We had such an amazing time and it felt like home away from home. The hot tub was great in the evenings to relax and unwind after spending the day on our adventures. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and enjoy an evening inside! Thanks again Tanya for wonderful communication and thank you to the managers for opening the cabin to us and making us feel so welcome! The deer in the evening are amazing to watch!

Pros: Cute place with charm. Very clean and a wonderful hot tub. There was just about everything you'd need in the house. Now the cons: There was no satellite as stated in the listing, just Roku streaming. I don't mind doing the dishes, but washing and putting in the dryer all the towels we used...well...

Great place, has everything a person could need including food supplies that we didn't bother to bring. Hot tub is fantastic, beds are comfy and the electric reclining sectional was heavenly. Just needs a bigger TV(football season) in rhe living room.

What a lovely and comfy place. The view out every window is lovely and peaceful, and the smell of the woods after it rains is second-to-none. I had my two teenage boys with me, and as they eat like horses, I do a lot of cooking. The cabin had everything I needed to whip up breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and we especially enjoyed the waffle iron. We’d had an itinerary in place before coming out, but I really appreciated the cabin’s info binder as it had everything from restaurants to “secret” swimming holes, off-road routes to more major attractions like Royal Gorge. It also had a lot of info about the house that made using the hot tub, indoor heaters, etc., that much easier. The owners (and property managers) were so, so kind. Following a minor scheduling mishap of mine, they worked with us to find an efficient solution that worked for everyone, and we were so grateful for their flexibility—I really can’t thank them enough. We’d love to come back sometime for more adventure as there’s so much to explore and enjoy there, and the cabin was a beautiful, clean, comfortable, and well-provisioned base camp to do it from.

Family vacation

Took my family on vacation to see the mountains. Wanted a stay away from all the noise, but close enough to drive to. This cabin did just that. The family loved the time spent in the cabin. The dirt road to the cabin is no joke though. Following google maps its about 9 miles of dirt road. Its a slow go, but very scenic.

Beautiful Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was truly beautiful. It was nice and clean and the couch was super comfortable. The cabin is in a nice secluded place to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city to unwind and relax. I highly recommend it. I would like to thank the host for making this a nice place to stay.

Fourth of July getaway

We booked the cabin really for our pup. He is scared of fireworks. The cabin was quiet and relaxing. Deck was the best part. The bed was uncomfortable. They had a list of chores for you to do in a rule book, some others in a card and a sticky note on the cabinet. None of which was on Vrbos site. Just wasn’t expecting to be required to wash a load of laundry.

Great Vacation.

The owners were amazing and fast responding. The house is beautiful and very clean. There wasn’t AC but they had plenty of fans to accommodate, Let me add it was not HOT it was cool. It was kind of hard to use the HOT tub due to the windy weather. The house was completely stocked with everything you needed. We don’t bring our pups but definitely could have!!!

Fantastic stay!!This was a 3rd annual trip with our family, could not have picked a better spot!One part of us drove down from Michigan and the other part drove up from Texas. We had everything we needed. I have recommended this house for quite a few people! Hiking all around the property, and amazing views from the porch. This was a great trip for a very much needed vacation.
