Luxury Villa Lule with Private Pool - near Dubrovnik

LOCATION

We are just far enough away from the crowds, located over the border into the quieter Herzegovina region of BOSNIA. (New faster border channels were completed in December 2019).

Villa Lule is just a 7 minute drive from the beautiful beaches of Srebreno and Milini and the fabulous jewel of the Adriatic, the city of Dubrovnik. The historic city dates back to the 7th century with its prominent surrounding walls being a highlight for visitors. The walls have been a popular filming location for the fictional city of “King’s Landing” in the television series, “Game of Thrones”.

Our local, 13th century, walled town of Trebinje is a historic delight to explore. The piazzas and cafe bars nestled under the great “Platani” trees are a great place to people watch and enjoy a coffee or ice cream.

There is a newly opened Water Park and in the evening “Vukoje” winery, with a rooftop terrace and restaurant offers diners great views over the town and river Trebisnjica. The town has something for everyone.

Further afield in Bosnia, Mostar and Kravice waterfalls are a fun day out or why not travel further afield to the Fjords of Kotor in Montenegro.

Due to our location and no public transport, car rental is essential.

THE SPACE

The private villa is a part of the small family resort and proudly commands magical views over the valley & mountains to the Dubrovnik Yacht Marina. Villa Lule provides a quiet and comfortable ambience for those who seek some quality time with friends and family.

Beautiful mountain and sea views are best enjoyed from the impressive pool (9m x 4m) or the extensive terraces with quality comfortable sun loungers, poolside tables and a sun umbrella. Why not chill out on the comfortable outdoor sofas with pre-dinner cocktails, enjoying the smell of dinner on the BBQ. Dine alfresco at the marble topped dining table and be witness the most incredible sunsets! I guarantee that they will probably be the best you have ever seen!

The accommodation on the ground floor at the villa is open plan with a comfortable lounge area, offering Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a DVD player.
The fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and ice machine and crockery to serve at a dinner party or a simple barbecue opens onto the dining area that in turn opens onto the pool and terrace.

The laundry facilities and washing machine are in a separate room.

There are also 2 beautiful large bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms with walk in showers. The Twin room has the possibility of an additional bed being added for a small charge.

The villa is air-conditioned throughout.

Pool heating is included in the cooler months but in July and August it can be offered at £15 per day. Please note the pool will not be filled from the end of November until the beginning of April, as it is not possible to heat in the winter months, unless requested.

Centrally situated in a quiet peaceful location, just 6km from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, 4km from the beaches and a 20 min transfer from the airport, Villa Lule offers you an ideal place for relaxing and exploring and comfortable living.

GUEST ACCESS
The manager will be there to meet and greet you. However, for the late arrivals, a key safe is available, with code and contact numbers given after booking.

We have also designed a brochure that is updated annually, tantalizing you with ideas of places to visit, complete with maps and directions! Places that are a bit off the beaten track and that the regular tourist won’t know about. We have ideas and tips for excursions, beaches and restaurants and sporting activities that have been recommended by the owner or previous guests. Ideal pool-side reading!

The owner will not be on the premises whilst guests are staying but there will be a property manager to meet and greet you and answer any enquiries.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

All linen is included.

Bedding and towels changed on request or after a 1 week stay.

Bathroom and pool towels are provided but NOT beach towels.

Price includes service/cleaning charge. Plus we offer a complimentary 2 hour mini housekeeping service once per week, servicing the kitchen, lounge and bathrooms.

On request we can provide an additional bed, large baby travel cot, high chair and baby car seat.

We can also offer a babysitting service, if staff is available. There is a small additional cost charged for these services.

We do not have any public transport and so are not suitable for non drivers.
