Really nice home

Our group really enjoyed our stay at the Trappers ski home. We skied Powder Mountain and Snow Basin, and the location was central to both mountains. The game room was a big hit for evening entertainment. I would definitely book this home again.

The property was excellent! Only disappointment was the incorrect location on the VRBO map. It was on the wrong side of the street. We booked a second home for our big group. They were supposed to be on the same side of the street. Instead they were on opposite sides and not across from each other. But, the distance was do-able....just not as expected.

So much fun!

The house is huge and there's so much to do. We are a family of 5 and we could have easily fit another family with all the bedrooms available. We thoroughly enjoyed the game room and movie room. Easy drive to Powder Mountain for skiing and the garage is great for drying equipment over night. Quiet neigbhorhood and quiet town, which is what we wanted compared to touristy Park City. The pantry is a little sparse so if you plan to cook a lot you'll need to pick up spices and such, but pans and plates were ample. We would definitely rent again.

TR1 is a very beautiful home! This was an upgrade for my brother and I due to our initial home not being available. Utah Homes and Vacation Rentals reached out to me to let me know prior to our leave. They gave me 2 options to choose from stating that I wouldn't have to pay the difference. They wanted to make my vacation the best it could be. This home was a bit further away from our Pineview destination however, it was worth it! I will say the drive both to and from Pineview reservoir is stunning. Wide open spaces with quaint homes and beautiful yards. I much enjoyed the drive. This home is much larger than what we needed but it was a fun experience! The gas fireplace on the patio was enjoyable to have a drink at in the evening hours. I do recommend this property. Very, very nice.

Amazing Support

I need to preface my house review with a note that we had initially reserved another house which had a flood just a week before our planned arrival for the busiest ski week of the year. Utah Vacation Homes amazingly was able to find us some alternate lodging, which included Trapper Lodge. While we did have to relocate after our first 4 nights, I can't imagine what some other property rental service would have done so we are very much indebted to Utah Vacation Homes for saving our family ski trip. Trapper Lodge is a very spacious and comfortable home, with a great family/game room that everyone enjoyed. We couldn't have been more pleased with all the home furnishings, from the kitchen, dining area, bedrooms and baths.

Great jumping off point for powder mountain

Had a great stay here with a group of 7 friends. House was awesome for a large group, with plenty of room for everyone, and it was well-maintained. The game room, in particular was awesome. Something for everyone, and we definitely enjoyed staying in as much as exploring Eden. We also enjoyed cooking in the well-appointed kitchen. There was even a boot warmer in the garage. A few small disappointments and one big one… When we booked, it wasn’t clear to us that there was no hot tub at the house. The hot tub is in a community center a 5-10 minute walk away. It was nice and there were even some gym amenities there, but from the listing, we thought there was a hot tub at the house. I’m terms of smaller things, we couldn’t get the heat working in the basement (where three bedrooms and the game room are). It was still probably 60 degrees down there, but not as comfortable as we would expect. Also, the water for the house was turned off when we got there. We’re pretty happy-go-lucky about some of these smaller things, so it didn’t have a negative impact on our stay, but these sorts of things and the lack of responsiveness from the management company might have riled more uptight travelers. Our queries were met with a “check the welcome book” response, but we couldn’t find a welcome book. Would stay here again and had a good time. There’s something for everyone in this house… but if you need perfection, I’m not sure you can expect it here.

Second time staying here - fabulous gameroom

Little ones liked the play kitchen, everyone liked the pool and hot tub. Went to causey reservoir and pineview reservoir for kayaking and paddle boarding. Rode our electric bikes on the paved trail around pineview reservoir. We had a fun time.

Great place to stay

Location was great. Right near the golf course. Peaceful neighborhood. Nice community pool. Views from the back windows and yard was beautiful. Backyard has plenty of room for yard games. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out in the house. Kitchen is well stocked. Downstairs game room was really fun. The Owner was helpful and responsive. We had a very enjoyable time.

Loved it!!

This was our second time renting this house and we loved it just as much as the first time! We love the game room and the bunk beds. And the pack n play and baby booster seat! Everything was great! We weren’t able to get the upstairs tv working, which would have been helpful for the little girls to watch their own movie. Other than that, it was fantastic and we will look forward to renting it again next year!!

Amazing house

This house was totally awesome! It was a lot bigger than it looked from the outside. It has a main floor, with a large open kitchen, dining and living room, a huge master bedroom and a guest bedroom. There's an upstairs with a living area and 2 bedrooms. A basement with a game room, 2 bedrooms plus a bunk room. The game room was really a hit with kids as well as adults. This was our annual ski vacation and the house was close the Powder Mountain and Nordic Valley. We loved our stay here!

Great house for Powder Mountain and Snowbasin

We have stayed in several different properties within Trappers Ridge over the years and this house was a great choice. The house is well stocked and had everything we needed for our large family to be comfortable for a week. The beds are comfortable and multiple bedroom configurations gave us lots o options for singles, couples, and kids. There was plenty of gear for younger kiddos (pack and play, etc) that our kids have thankfully aged out of. Lots of games in the basement to keep everyone entertained in the evenings. The photos are very accurate representations of the house. The owner was very easy to work with and very responsive. We will definitely consider returning to this house next year!

Amazing Place

The guys have already requested we book the same place for next year if that tells you anything. It's the perfect location and we had lots of fresh powder to ski in at Snowbasin. The house is huge and very well equipped to cook your own meals. Loved having the boot and glove driers in the garage. The game room was enjoyed by all. There are amazing views from the living area and we had several amazing sunsets. Highly recommend for friends or family groups.

Fabulous house in Eden, great for family get togethers.

The house is well located if you plan to ski at Snowbasin and has a fabulous view. It has tons of games for the kids to play and plenty of room for adults to relax and catch up. Very well stocked and the host communicated well and left very detailed instructions in the home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
