My husband and I booked this cabin to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and I loved it. The cabin was cute and spacious enough for the two of us and our dog. It got chilly overnight but the heater warmed it up extremely quickly. The hot tub was very enjoyable and private. I had read reviews prior to our trip about the shower water not getting hot - the hot and cold are backwards so you just have to have the knob on "cold" and it gets plenty hot! The mattress was also extremely comfortable and I slept like a rock. We only had the cabin booked for a few days but I wish we were able to stay longer. We really enjoyed our time!

we had a good time:) the hot tub was relaxing, the bed was comfortable, only thing we noticed was a lot of dog hair that wasn’t cleaned up under the bed from the previous people but other then that no complaints! the pizza from little italy pizza is a must try as well!

Very nice cabin

Hot tub was great, cabin was perfect for getting away and very clean. Manager didn’t respond to VRBO messages or send check in information prior to us reaching out but was very quick to respond and helpful once texting the associated phone number.

Very cute cabin

My husband and I stayed for a few days while hiking in Hocking Hills. We loved the cabin, felt very private, and sitting in the hot tub after a long day of hiking was amazing. Cabin was very clean and well kept, and the owner was very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely stay again

Issues with our stay

Not a bad rental once we got in, no wifi, cable remote only 1/4 of the time, hot water was lacking in the shower. Had no code to unlock the door. Had to look up the number on Google. Communication of host is lacking. When we finally got ahold her where we were staying and she gave me a code without confirming it was my reservation.

My wife and I stayed at Dogwood Run with our dog for our anniversary in June of 2023. It was our first night away from our baby and we were looking for something special. This cabin was not it. There was black mold all over the laundry hamper in the bathroom and the sink basin in there had been so poorly installed that water ran down the side of the vanity cabinet, causing swelling and, quite possibly, more mold. The floor in the cabin was buckling up in the center. The cabin wasn't level, so head of the bed was lower than the foot. Worst of all, for us, the hot tub died after a single use. For what it's worth, property management offered to send someone out in the morning to repair the tub, but, since we were only there one night, we opted against it. The only pros here were the quiet and how responsive management was to our single, greatest issue. The cons heavily outweigh these. Really, I've hemmed and hawed over leaving this review and what kind of rating to give this cabin. But, truthfully, we had a terrible time and the cost of our single night stay was far too high for these cons to be reasonable. Were it not such a mean thing to do, I'd honestly give this place 1/5 stars (which is what my wife wants me to give). If management fixes the issues with the cabin, you might have a good time! But, as it stands, I'd caution you against going, especially since there are so many wonderful cabins in the area. We won't be back.

Everything was fine, except the firepit was pitiful. There was no way we could have a fire outside. It was full of holes and we felt that was too dangerous especially since its been so dry.

We did not personally use the hot tub but the cabin itself was very nice everything was good it’s about a good 20 minutes from everything and it’s not to bad of a drive they give you really good instructions to get there! My only complaint is and it’s a personal one is the pillows was not the best

Cabin was pretty and cozy. But it smelled faintly of smoke. We had no clean towels. The shower only had hot water if you barely turned it on.
