Lake is close to Cabin - Beach close to Cabin, ( Beach belonging to the Cranberry Cabin community only ) .... - Cabin comes with -
Fire pit with great seating area ( and Firewood is Sold on site ) , Gas Barbeque stove for outdoor cooking, with picnic table for outdoor eating !! & plenty outdoor seating area,s to enjoy the Wildlife, Again a Great get away spot for any Outdoor event, Holiday or just Relaxing . So Come enjoy the Lake - for great Fishing , Boating ,Swimming, Kayaking or just Sun tanning - Privatebeach and Boat launch both close to Cabin. & Also Close by are The best Side-by-side and Jeep trails ( Rocks and Valley's Jeep park - is very close by and miles of state land for riding , Plus Biking & Walking trails close , Bring your Toys is encouraged. Also Great Golf Course,s close by , Come Canoe the beautiful Muskegon River,- Visit the Great Parks close . Plus There's Ice Cream and Pizza close for easy eating. !!
We have the biggest 4th of July party every year ( the whole lake lights up ) Come enjoy this Great Holiday here ! .. Jeeps-Side-by-sides , an Boaters plenty of parking on property for your toys . Boaters there are plenty of Lakes for Fishing ,3 within 2 miles 20 within 20 minutes . Plenty of in town Activities too, bowling , go carts , and an Escape Room park ,..A must stay Vacation getaway..!!!!

Great Place!

It was a great place for a family getaway. The place ha a great eclectic mix of antique decorations. Host was very available for local recommendations. I can't recommend enough.

We traveled from Indiana to get away from work and the kids. I have to say, this place is small, but it truly accommodated all of our needs. The owners offered us a ride out on thier boat to watch fireworks! That's special. Thank you Janet and Anthony!

Impromptu long weekend

We had a opportunity arise for a long weekend away. We decided we would like to go fishing and ride our ATV. We came upon this property in VBRO and it seemed to match all those things. We really enjoyed the house and property We went fishing, had a nice ATV ride (we are not thrill seeker but those trails were available), and enjoyed a camp fire in the secluded backyard. The house is very comfortable. The décor is VERY fun and interesting. The photos really don't do it justice. Our hosts were very helpful and let us have our time to ourselves but checked in to make sure we were OK. We would definitely recommend this property for a get away.

They Enjoyed there many years of Marriage, at the Cabin 🏠,!!! . Thank you for such a great review, We Enjoy what We do and We do it, So Guests can Enjoy a great Stay. And We enjoy Great guests as Yourselves and having them enjoy Our hard work and effort and more Importantly the Area an what it has to offer . Glad you got to enjoy the Lakes and Your ATV, and Thank you for taking care of and leaving the Cabin 🏠 as it was your Own . I’m not sure how this host is a premier host with only 6 reviews and only 1 year in service. This should have been a red flag. Clean cabin was the only positive attribute. The host stopped by to drop off local menus upon arrival & seemed very annoyed that I had my daughter with me. I did message inquiring about her and she stated “.all is ok with me know worry..” She then made a off comment about letting it slide before she left. I will note my daughter did get sick, nothing crazy, a small mess at end of mat. I cleaned the mat & set it outside to dry. The next morning, a knock on the door. It was the host. I asked if there was sometime wrong and the reply was “what is wrong with the water?” I confusingly said excuse me and she said did you flood the the bathroom. I said NO what are you talking about. She replied, well my rug is outside. I then explained what happened and that I cleaned up after my daughter. She then said that is why no children are allowed. I reminded her of our communication, she stated she never received a message about a child. I showed her the messages. The host response was “whatever” and that it was my responsibility to read the entire listing where it is clearly stated absolutely no children. I went on the listing & children allowed was marked yes & I showed it. This went on then I stated we were clearly unwanted & cut the trip short & left the property. The next day the listing just so happened to show no children.

First, to clear up this Red flag thought We are only open 5 months a year to Receive Reviews, and We only opened up End of May of 2022.- And yes We did allow Children of a Certain age limit, and The Guest brought in a child way under that age limit , And broke Our house Rules. Because of this incident We no longer allow children of any age , The child then proceeded to get sick and vomit all over Our good bathroom rugs , That we were forced to change out. We supplied the Guest with cleaning supplies per his ask and discuss the events with the Guest, And reiterated our house rules- The Guest asked if he should leave , We said no continue your stay, but we are not happy with the Events that have taken place, The Guest chose to leave on his own. The Guest left the House Clean and neat Upon exiting.. Again ,The guest took it upon himself to exit and Notified us later that he had left.- !! Out of the 20 or more so People we have rented too this is Our 1st and only incident .

Cute little Shady Nook Cabin

Janet was an amazing hostes. I initially set up an arrival time for later in the evening, but my schedule opened up and was able to arrive at normal check in time at the last minute. She had the windows open and the fireplace burning low in case it was chilly when we arrived. She was there within 5 minutes to let us in and show us around. I loved hearing the back story of the cabin, and her as a hostes and how she came to Michigan for vacation and ended up with all her properties. FYI, The pics do not do much justice for this place. You can tell she has put a lot of time and thought into the vintage decor and overall feeling her cabin gives..it's very cute and cozy 😊. She gave great referrals to local restaurants and attractions and other fun things to do near by. She even offered to let us stay a little longer for a late checkout to allow more time to explore near by and enjoy the lake. Tip...if you plan to go on the water at any point, bring your own life jackets, she does not provide them. However, she went above and beyond and borrowed life vests from her friend to loan us so we could kayak. I wish we could have stayed longer..we do plan to return next year and hope to make this a family thing. I'm anxious to see how she finishes her other cabins next door.

Besties girl week

Us girls had a wonderful time. Two of us came up 2 days early. The place is very cute and cozy. Janet had it decorated with antiques and I was having a field day looking at all of them. The beach area is very clean and a short drive from the cottage. The fire pit area is large with plenty of seats. This place was comfortable sleeping 4 adult women.

Great cabin.

Super cute little cabin. Hosts were very friendly. Checked in on us several times, when they saw us outside to see if we were all good. Very homey. Didn’t get a chance to take the sxs out but sounded like a great location for it.
