"This cozy farmhouse is located on a beautiful 45+acre farm with horses, goats, sheep and cows. With 3 bedrooms and 1 bath, this country get-a-way is perfect for all occasions. Located just minutes from I-65 and is right in-between Louisville, KY and Nashville, TN. For tourism, we are located approximately 25 minutes from Mammoth Cave National Park; 20 minutes from Barren River State Park; 40 minutes from National Corvette Museum; and 45 minutes from the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace. It's very peaceful and relaxing.

A real getaway!

This property was exactly what we needed to escape our corporate jobs and reconnect. The property manager was excellent. She respected our privacy, but gave us a chance to feed the animals! The animals were all so sweet, and my daughter was in heaven. Definitely exceeded all our expectations :)

Country Living

This house was located in a very beautiful area. Quiet, safe and loved the animals next door. Host was very quick to answer any questions. The house was well kept with plenty of extra amenities (coffee bar, toiletries, spices for cooking, popcorn). There were a few minor issues with a bit older home. Faint smell from bathroom and screws on cabinet door in kitchen were stripped. Nothing that would deter us from staying again. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay!

Home away from home down on the farm

To say we had the best time is an understatement. My family was in town exploring Mammoth Caves and the surrounding area for a few days. The home is absolutely adorable, super clean, and has everything you need. The projector screen movie nights were a favorite of our girls. The best part though was all our animal (and new babies) friends we made. The highlight of every day was feeding our pals and the beautiful scenery we were surrounded with. The girls cried when we left. We will certainly be back again!

Wonderful place on the farm to relax, close to Mammoth Cave!

This quiet property was a perfect stay for our family while we visited the Mammoth Cave area. My kids loved running around outside and my son could not wait to get home from the cave to feed the horses the provided snacks. The lambs followed around their mamas all day. Keep an eye on young kids crossing the road to see the horses as the rare cars that pass drive fast over the hill at times. We heard the train once overnight but fell right back asleep. Crystal was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay. Some of the cookware in the kitchen could be updated but we had all the basics to cook meals at home. She had lots of coffee available, microwave popcorn, and similar little touches throughout. Thank you for the nice stay!

This farm has been in my family for generations. It's my happy place and I am happy to share it with you. I am prior military and a working professional. I am a little OCD about cleanliness so you will find everything clean, neat and organized for your traveling convenience. I am available for questions almost anytime, so if you are considering staying with us please feel free to ask! Time away is important and should be treasured not stressful. That's the experience I hope to provide with each and every stay. I am new to VRBO, but am a 5 star host on Airbnb. Feel free to check there for reviews until i get some here.

The entire house is available and includes a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer and dryer. +++Update: A brand new mini split air conditioning unit was just installed (Sep 2021) for your heating and cooling needs. The window units you see in the pictures have been removed.

There is a coffee/wine bar with k-cups and condiments for all guests.

There is a projector in the living room equipped with a Roku with apps. It pairs with the Bluetooth speaker, turning the living room into a movie theater at night.
There is also a tv in the master bedroom.

There is a fire pit, wood, and kindling located in the back yard. There are 4 folding chairs located in the laundry room for use.

There are mosquito candles available for use as well.

There are extra toiletries available to hold you over until you can get some, just in case something is forgotten.

The living room has a new reclining leather sofa and love seat and the coffee table folds out to a desk or table for eating.

There is a full dining room with a beautiful wooden table that seats 6.

There is also a blue tooth speaker in the bathroom for those like me who like to sing in the shower.

There is a guestbook located on the table as soon as you enter the house that has the WiFi password, information for your stay and house rules. There are also brochures with local information/attractions/restaurants to ensure you have everything you need for a wonderful stay!
