Amazing place!

We had a great time. House was big and comfortable. Kitchen had all that we needed. Pool was delicious. A relatively close walk to the beach. Jesus and his family were very helpful and available every time we needed help. We would live to come back soon!

Great place!

Just a short walk to the beach, the private gated property is secure and really nice!! My favorite part was meeting the property manager's cat Amore who was full of love and just wanted pets! The manager was very attentive and helpful. Great spot!

First time stay at this property location

WOW: Excellent Management, staff and a secure area. Very clean, courteous staff, apartment, grounds and pool was cleaned a regular bases. Detail to customer service was one of the best in Cabarete, and I have traveled lots over the years to various apartments/condos. Good for family, romantic getaway or just to relax and enjoy the beach. Beach is a short walk with several restaurants within walking distance. Easy and inexpensive transportation from area to Sousa or Cabarete. Will return again. Thanks Greg to you and your team and looking forward to my return.

Lovely place for a relaxing stay.

The place is very peaceful and I felt very safe. A short drive or a 15 minute walk to the beach was easy. A short walk along the coast and you had the beach to yourself. The staff are very pleasant and were available and accommodating the one time when I needed help. Would definitely return.

Practical With All The Amenities For A Perfect Island Getaway

Greg has quite a perfect location, close to the beach only a short nature hike to beach which takes about 10 minutes. There are many things to go and see that are walkable (Surfing, Fishing, Hiking, Great little restaurant down the road as well). Very safe and very special are the best ways to describe the Villa Apartments here at Encuentro Beach. I couldn't think of a better situation to recommend to couples, singles or families with small children. We stayed for several days and wish we had more time. This place is way better than any over priced hotel or large home. The weather was perfect and it was great to wake up in a very spacious, nicely laid out apartment and take a morning dip in the pool. The apartment has everything you would need and the outside courtyard area is very private and tranquil. The location is perfect and you are very close to town. The staff that Greg has (Jesus and his wonderful family) are there for your convenience 24/7 and are able to take care of anything you need whether it is a ride into town or light cooking (for a very fair and affordable fee). We cannot say enough about this property, the location and Greg and his staff (Top-notch operation). My wife and I are looking to come back for another visit in the future. Thanks Greg, Jesus and his family for making it a wonderful trip for us and we wish you good fortune!

Hi, my name is Greg Gill, I am a US citizen, also with residency in the Dominican Republic. I am a graduate of Cardinal Farley Military Academy, Rhinecliff, New York, and attended Loyola College(Concordia Universty) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where I also played college basketball, for the Loyola College Warriors. When I came to the Dominican Republic initially, in 2004, I immediately enjoyed what the North Coast had to offer, sun, the beach, great people, food, and a healthy lifestyle. I decided to buy property, for vacations and then for a warm retirement location, and it has turned out better then I could imagine. A little over 3 hour flight from NY/Northeast US/Canada and I could be away from the cold and enjoy the sun, warm breezes and waters of the Caribbean. My occupation and training is in Construction, as I worked as a Building Inspector for 30+ years, and am very impressed with the construction here-homes built with reinforced concrete, tile and stone, making a home beautiful, long lasting, and virtually fireproof, and with colorfull Caribbean landscapes, so soothing for the spirit! I also now build homes here for visitors who have come here and wish to have an island home, to vacation at, to rent, and to retire, when the time comes.
