"La Sacacomie" is a unique house built in 1903 that has kept its character through the year with the comfort of today furniture and equipment. A unique story on 4-acres of your own forest with our rabbits and Hens. The property has access to the Sacacomie River. This house can accommodate up to 6 people. Lovely but not quite what we expected

The cottage looks as advertised and the chickens and bunnies were the highlight. They are so cute! But the access to the water is a 5 minute walk down a path (through the woods), the access is actually finicky and looks a little swampy, and we were advised last minute that there may potentially be a man near the access point (and to not talk or look at him as he's very rude). Put us off guard a bit. Communication was not great at times, but the landlord was very kind and welcoming. We thought they were going to meet us at arrival but they weren't there. We also didn't anticipate the landlord being on-site every day (for the chickens, etc.), would have just been nice to know. Very welcoming letter, and little chocolates. Beware, there's no paper towel, no saranwrap (for cooking and storing). Unfortunately the towels smelled bad and we had to rewash them. The dishes were quite dirty also. We had to wash them before using them. These things can all be rectified easily and better communication surrounding what the expect, and house rules should be provided prior to booking. I've brought these items forward to the landlord and have no doubt they'll do their best to make a few changes moving fwd.

We fell in love with this property as soon as we step in. A mix of antique furniture that we have kept and orginal construction material as well as the 2 fireplace. We felt right at home and this is pretty much what all our guest have to say. We were able to create a special moment for our guest with this amazing house. We brought some comfort to the historical style of the house with great queen bed and very comfortable sofa as well as fiber optic high speed wireless internet for the one's who need to stay connected while on vacation.

Nous sommes tombés amoureux de cette propriété dès que nous y avons mis les pieds. Un mélange de meubles anciens que nous avons gardés et de matériaux de construction originaux ainsi que les deux cheminées. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous et c'est à peu près ce que disent tous nos hôtes. Nous avons réussi à créer un moment spécial pour nos invités avec cette maison étonnante. Nous avons apporté un peu de confort au style historique de la maison avec un grand lit et un canapé très confortable, ainsi que l'Internet sans fil à haut débit en fibre optique pour ceux qui ont besoin de rester connectés pendant leurs vacances.
