Duck Hunting weekend

We had five guys staying 4 nights in Webster to duck hunt the immediate area. This was our second visit to Webster and our second stay at the Tails Up Retreat. Great house with great amenities. Owners are attentive, kind and very responsive.

We had a great stay at Tails Up.. everything you could need for a comfortable stay, whether there for hunting, fishing or family get together. Fully furnished kitchen, plenty of room for gear, super comfy furnishings. We were there for a family wedding and it made a great home base.

Great weekend in Webster

Had a great weekend in Webster. This place was great for the kids and the dogs! Plenty of space to relax inside and out. It has a very quiet location, comfortable rooms and a nice back yard for the dogs and kids to play in. The deck is nice and clean with a very cozy table to eat at. Would definitely stay again.

Tails Up Retreat house was excellent!!

Definitely a 5-star place in Webster, SD. The accommodations were very neat, clean and easy to use. Nice "cleaning house" in the backyard and the outdoor area was complete with grill and blackstone. My husband had to call the owner about something and he returned his call promptly. We will be using this house again in the future!!

Super clean and quiet. Fresh paint, very well stocked with everything. Kitchen was fully stocked. No amenity was spared. Amazing property. Easily, this was the best VRBO we've ever stayed at.

We had a wonderful stay at Tails Up! Ages ranged from grandfather to an 11 year old and our hunting dogs. The place was so clean! They provide amazing coffee and hot chocolate for the kiddos! Loved being able to turn the dogs out in a fenced in backyard!

Great Home Base for Hunt Camp

Goes above expectations. The house is a great layout and hangout for a hunt or fish camp. Centrally located in Webster to spring off to wherever your adventures take you. Very comfortable accommodation and place to watch games and cook dinner. Love the Blackstone and Traeger. Thoughtful game cleaning shack with all the paper towels and ziplocks you need. Huge heated garage to park your truck or boat in. Laundry to clean your clothes too. We stayed 4 nights for a pheasant trip and had a blast. Thank you very much.

So pleasant

While the interior truly met our needs, the outside space was wonderful if you travel with a four-legged friend! She got to enjoy the fenced in back yard while we fished and then we enjoyed our time on the deck. The garage was perfect for our truck and boat and made it so easy to get out on the water in the morning. We loved this place. The interior was as comfortable!

Extremely nice place for our group of fishermen

By far the cleanest, most efficient place we’ve ever stayed! The owners have thought of everything to make this place comfortable and great. The on site fish cleaning station is super handy and the garage and driveway are set up nice for boat parking. The owner responded immediately to any questions we had. Sam works in product development for a corn genetics company and Olivia works in animal health. Sam spends quite a bit of his time on the road for work so he understands the importance of feeling at home while traveling. Our daughter, Elaina, was born in July of 2021 and provides us with our daily dose of smiles and laughs as her sweet personality shines. Our son, Elliott, was born in November of 2023 and continues to bring us joy everyday. We enjoy getting to know our guests and providing quality, warm hospitality in the Webster area.
