Welcome, relax and enjoy this homey

This house is all about comfort. From the sofa sectional and large screen TV in the living room, to the fully stocked kitchen with a double oven and dishwasher, extendable dining table (up to 8 seats), comfortable beds, and laundry in the basement, this house offers our guests the comforts of home. A fenced-in back yard offers great space for kids. The back patio and a front porch are great places to sit and relax for the evening.

Located only a 20-minute drive from the University of Michigan and the center of Ann Arbor, this home is a convenient option if your attending an event in the area.

If you have the time, feel free to explore the historic downtown Ypsilanti and Depot Town nearby.

Additionally, the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport is in close proximity, about a 20-minute drive.

Quick access to restaurants, grocery stores, fitness centers, universities, hospitals, and entertainment.

Lots of museums located close by: the Michigan Firehouse Museum in Ypsilanti, the Hands on Museum and the University of Michigan Natural History Museum in Ann Arbor, and the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Michigan Stay

We stayed for the Michigan vs. Oregon game and it was an easy drive from the house. Plenty of living space and beds for a large group as well. Overall good experience here.

If you want a clean spacious place to stay, this is it. If you are serious about being a chef, the kitchen is equipped with every possible tool to host all your friends. Advertised as sleeps eight, It has eight beds! No pull out couches, actual beds (1 Queen and 6 twins.) If you’re considering a longer time stay more than a day or two you will find it very comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at this house in Ypsilanti. It had everything we needed and the large couch and beds were very comfortable. It was easy to get to Depot Town in Ypsi and not far from Ann Arbor too. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay while we were in town for Texas versus Michigan football game. The home was clean, comfortable, updated, and exceeded our expectations for the price. We were able to work around just having one shower which we knew about going in. Wish there were more towels though.

Spacious, well-stocked home in quiet neighborhood

This place was perfect for our needs. We wanted to go to Ann Arbor and Detroit, and this location was great for both. It’s also one of the most well-stocked places we’ve stayed at, which is nice since the last 2 places we were at didn’t provide enough towels for my family of 5. The beds were very comfortable, all our cooking needs were covered, bathroom supplies provided, and plenty of room for the family to spread out as well as hang out together in the main room. George communicated well and was thoughtful with recommendations. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent stay at Nice and Cozy. Plenty of room for everyone and i ejoyed that the host had everhing we might have needed tonise. Although the hose was pretty clean, i would suggest a little dusting, especially in the corners in the upstairs bedrooms near the AC units. I would absolutely recommend this this place to anyone visiting the area.

Great spot for family and the dogs

We were in town for a Univ of Michigan football and the home was a perfect location for this - quick and easy access to the highway. Also just a few minutes drive to a cute part of town with restaurants, bars, antique shops, and a car museum. The home offered all the essential amenities with a nice open floor plan to enjoy with family. The fenced in backyard was a hit with our dogs, plenty of space for them to run around and play. The host was easily accessible by messaging and we genuinely felt they cared about the quality of our stay.

Celebratory stay!

This property is fantastic! We stayed here for my son's graduation from UofM. Location was great in relationship to everything we wanted to do. Our host, George, was great with communication and provides everything we needed. It was so nice to have such a nice home to have a relaxing stay, not be stressed by trying to find reservations every night in Ann Arbor for dinner, and to have so much space. This home had everything we needed. Very comfortable beds, a stocked kitchen, a grill, toiletries and even a hair diffuser for us curly haired girls. I highly recommend! Thank you so much, George. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit our son who has now made Ann Arbor his home.

Convenient, comfy & thoughtfully appointed

This had lots of little details like a lint roller, band-aids under the sink, charging ports at every bedside, and hands down the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rental. TWO washing machines and TWO dryers in the basement meant my teenagers were never fighting over laundry. Easy access from Detroit airport and easy access to Ann Arbor. The only negatives were the lack of a curbside recycling bin and an overly firm "Indian style" mattress in the master. Blackout curtains on the south side bedroom windows might also be a good addition due to a neighbor who is overly enthusiastic about nighttime lighting. Would definitely stay again. Thanks George!

An older home in a quiet area.

This property was perfect for my husband and I. It was clean, and cozy. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. George is a wonderful host and the house was stocked very thoughtfully. George was quick to respond and answer any questions I had. Definitely recommend this property!
