🏠This cabin is one of two that we host; both situated at the end of a small community of cabins (5 cabins including these two). The community is surrounded by 1,000+ acres of Elbe Hills State Forest for your exploration and total serenity. There is a State Road that you can walk (or four-wheel) about a mile long and it will take you all the way to a "beach" on the Nisqually River. The other direction takes you towards Ashford, but is a bit more overgrown and longer.
🌲On the property, both cabins share the "meadow space" and tree-fort with the slide. Apart from that, each cabin faces a different direction and offer plenty of privacy even though they are within about 30 yards of each other. It's the best of both worlds whether you rent just one of the cabins and want some privacy, or if you want to rent out both cabins for a larger get together and have separate spaces.
🌊Both cabins have waterfront about half of the year when the Sahara Creek runs (November to June). The rest of the year, the creek bed is dry and surrounded by greenery & wildflowers 🌿
🔑Guests will receive their keyless entry code and check-in instructions for the cabin via Airbnb messages & text the day prior to their check-in.
🚗There is one parking spot available for this cabin. We also offer over-flow parking across the creek as well. If you need to use the overflow parking, there is a footbridge to come across without taking the road the long way around. The drive-way is shared between the two cabins on-site, but they have separate parking spots which are clearly marked. (Please do not park or drive on the grass.)
🚦Our driveway exits to a State road which gets very little traffic from vehicles. Otherwise, getting around in this area is dependent on a car in most situations, unless of course you are horseback or backpacking. If you like to off-road, there is Elbe Hills ORV Park only a 10-15 min drive away from the cabin.
🛻4WD/AWD is highly recommended during snowy or icy conditions.
👭Our hosting team is made up of Ashley and Melissa of The Happy Hotelier. We work as a team to ensure our guests have a seamless customer experience while staying with us. Please reach out using the platform unless it is urgent, then please feel free to call Ashley directly.

🦌The local deer population frequently walk through the front and back yards of the home. While enjoying the magic of their presence, we ask that you please maintain a respectful distance from them and thank you for your cooperation in keeping the wildlife safe and wild.

The wood-burning stove/fireplace will provide heat inside the cabin; a flashlight and lantern are available for light & we encourage guests to cook on the bbq grill provided on the deck
