PCB 2021 trip

Overall it was a great experience! The condo was clean and had what we needed in order to cook on those nights we didn’t want to go out. Only issue was that the garbage disposal wasn’t working. Definitely will be back!

Thinking of being owners

Room was nice and great value for sleeping party of 5. The sofa bed was supposed to add 2 but luckily we didn't need it as the bed would not come out. The balcony and view makes this place awesome. The bedroom door was damaged and appeared to be terribly repaired. The handle came off all the time. I love this layout but it needs a little cleanup during off season. We were pleased and would return but definitely glad we paid less than we did at other resort not as nice.

Room needs updating

We have stayed in this room years ago and I think nothing has been fixed that was broken before. The owner does the minium for upkeep. The washer and dryer handles are broke. The fan in the master sounded like it was about to fall down. We will not staying in this unit again.

Nasty. Poor cleanliness.

This place could be amazing except for someone is getting screwed on paying for cleaning… I spent the first few hours cleaning and picking up. Scum and hair in every sink and tub /shower. Fries under the couch. This was not as clean as appeared.

Unprepared

My husband and I were in PCB for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We get to our room and it still has the dirty linens piled on the beds. Dirty towels in the tub. We called and they were sending someone right up... An hour later still no one.. Our room finally was cleaned at 8pm.... 4 hours after check in time. The next day we went to get in our car and realized something was stolen off of it. Spoke to security and learned the are no cameras in the parking garage!

Horrible communication with Panama gateways

When we first arrived the condo was dirty, you could write your name because of so much dust on kitchen table. We called 3 different times for them to bring a blanket and pillow for the pull out bed and it didn't arrive till day two.We called twice for maintenance to fix the front door bc the lock was broken. We also called twice to maintenance as well bc the patio door handle was broken and would come completely off every time you tried to open the door. We also were never notified when the condo lost all power as well as had no water. Extremely disappointed that they never communicated with us about theses issues. Also disappointed that we were never compensated for having no air conditioning for a whole day as well as another day not having any power or water. Extremely disappointed.

Sorely disappointed!

My husband, son, grandchildren and I vacationed in Panama City at the Aqua in June 2018. The condo was nice; however, there were some problems. We did not have any washcloths in either bathroom, the plunger on one of the sinks would not lift to let water flow out. I called and reported it, but it was never fixed. Also, the dishwasher still had dirty dishes when we arrived. But the worst was our car was towed from the parking garage!! Mind you the garage has a code that has to be put in for entry. Our car was towed because we had not put the tag in the window. We were towed the day after we arrived. We had not been back to the car to even put the tag in the car. (The tags are in the room on arrival not sent via mail. Maybe they should be!!) We heard many people talking around the complex discussing being towed!! Sounds like kickbacks!! The personnel at the front desk were of no help!! Almost rude! We will never stay at the Aqua again!!

We appreciate your feedback but after reviewing the notes on your reservation we do not see where you called us one time during your stay to report any issues. We would have come out to help you in a timely manner ad we known you were having any issues. It sounds like you had more issues with the complex itself other than this actual unit. There are several signs in the parking garage and all over the complex regarding the requirement of parking passes. We apologize that your experience with the front desk was not pleasant. We will address this with them directly.

Elevator Service was Awful

The garbage disposal didn’t work, the door handle in the master bedroom kept falling off. The elevator was absolutely horrible. Other than that it was nice.

Beautiful view! Tired condo

Again the views were amazing! The check in/out process was probably the easiest I’ve ever used. The location was prime if you want to be right in the heart of things in PCB. Sadly, the overall cleanliness of the condo was not great. I understand that it’s the beach and that’s why all tile is the way to go, but our feet/socks stayed black just from walking around in the condo. The floors definitely need a deep cleaning. We never could get the bedroom ceiling fan to work and the windows had hand and face prints everywhere from previous guests. Know that it will be loud for a while as they are building another complex right next to the Aqua. Also, we had the privilege of a wet tile saw being used on the balcony below us for 3 out of the 5 days we were there. Hopefully that too goes away soon. Again, with some maintenance and upkeep this place would be amazing. But the owner is being let down by whatever cleaning staff they use.

Very dirty

The unit was not clean at all. The floors have not been cleaned in a while, the washer had mildew in it and smelled, the handles were broken on the washer and dryer and I’m pretty sure the bedding had not been changed (sand in the beds). Needless to say I will not book this unit again

Would stay here again!

Condo was clean and updated. The complex itself was clean and centrally located to numerous activities within walking distance. The only thing I would complain about is not having enough towels for all of our guests..there were 5 of us and only 4 bath towels/wash cloths. There was a washer and dryer in the unit (the handle on the dryer was broken but we found a way to open it) but it was a bit of an inconvenience when we all came from the beach ready to shower and there wasn't enough towels for us all. Overall, I would stay here again.

Hate the condo, Love Aqua

I'm not a complainer, we make the best of everything especially while we're living on the beach for a week. We have stayed at Aqua many times and this is the first condo we have ever had a problem with. The floor was disgusting, with hair and sand all over it. The dishes didn't look clean. The balcony glass was dirty. There were only two bowls. There was sand on our bed when we arrived. The clothes dryers handle was gone, we had to use something to open it to even use it. The washer was the worst. There was an awful mildew smell when I opened the door and then saw the mold on the ring of the inside that I had to wipe off. They gave us the wrong code for the gate. I'm so disappointed in that condo. Hopefully they can get their stuff together to keep up with the rest of Aqua that we love. Definitely shouldn't be charging as much as they are. I hope we can get some kind of refund and improvements done for the next renters.

We are shocked and surprised to see this review. We never received a call from this guest their entire stay. Customer service is our number one priority and had we known she was unhappy, we would have sent someone over immediately to rectify any and all issues. This guest signed the rental agreement and by doing so, she was advised that we will take care of any issues immediately but of course we cannot do that if we are not made aware of any issues.

Wonderful condo!

We had a great view ! The bed was super comfy! The only thing I didn't like was there was not that many dishes for us to use but other than than great location and condo !

Unit was not very clean and kitchen ill equipped, furniture needs replaced.

The resort itself was great--indoor and outdoor pool. The unit we rented was a little disappointing. The washer/dryer were barely functioning, the ice dispenser was broken and the kitchen had bare minimums. We had to contact the rental company to come back and re-clean the floors on the day of our arrival because our feet were black from walking on them. The bunk beds were pretty rickety, so would not be good for teens or adults. The pull out coach was not comfortable, so would not work or adults either. The unit states it sleeps six people but we were given 4 bath towels. I would rent at Aqua again, but I would try and different unit.

We would not stay in this unit again.

Floors were very dirty and there was a lot in the unit that needs to be addressed and fixed. There are no hangers in closets and no where to hang anything. You will need to buy hangers or bring them with you. It is convenient to have the washer and dryer in the unit. However, when there is mold on the inside of the washer, that is a problem. The view was beautiful and the space in the unit was sufficient.

Tour of the Panhandle!

This was the last stop on our month long tour of the Florida Gulf coast. This has to be one of my now many favorites!! Thanks again to Panhandle Getaways for all of the lovely properties and we'll be back soon!!

Just needs a few tweaks, but a nice facility

The resort alone was very nice. It would have been nice to know beforehand of the construction that was going on during our stay. There were signs on the doors to the balcony stating it was closed. Very disappointing. The room was very nice, but not very clean. We had to wear house shoes or socks inside, which we do not do in our own home, because the floors made our feet look like we had been walking outside. There were a few appliances that weren't working properly. The ice maker did not dispense ice and the vent fan over the stove did not work properly. The light in the main living area would blink on and off so we just didn't use it at all. The decor was very nice. The television remote system horrible.

Had to be moved

Our room wasn't clean and the balcony was going to be closed for our stay for maintenance. We had to wait another hour to be told that we would have to be moved to another resort. they only offered to comp $25 of the payment two days later. We will not be staying there again or through Panhandle Getaways EVER!!!

Perfect end of summer getaway!

Condo was spacious and the view was beautiful! Me and my husband were in need of some alone time away from everyday life and this was perfect. The water is gorgeous and the beach wasn't crowded. We loved being close to our two favorite restaurants; Schuckums and Hook'd Pier Bar and Grill. We went on a a jetski dolphin tour and seen dolphins, manatees, a shark, and stingrays. Besides that we spent most of our time on the beach soaking up the sun and beautiful view. We seen stingrays and lots of pretty little fish while swimming in the ocean which was very cool. The little fish followed us around lol. We are definitely coming back next year with our 2 kids. They are going to love it! We cannot wait to return.

The best vacation yet!!!

The condo was nice and comfortable and felt like home. The view was absolutely breathtaking. Me and my husband had an amazing time. You have to try Schuckums, Hook'd Pier Bar and Grill and Hungry Howie's. Overall amazing time and we cannot wait to come back.

ICE Cold pool but excellent view

Beautiful view & nice location. We saw a shark, schools of fish, & a manatee with binoculars from our 22nd floor balcony!!! The unit was great except for the last night when we wanted to wash clothes & the washer was moldy. You really have to keep those front loader washers open to let them dry. Cons: The pool was freezing cold in April. They stop heating it in the spring even though the temperature is still cold outside. Then they closed the hot tub halfway through our trip. There also wasn't a mattress pad. Just a sheet straight on the mattress. HOWEVER, the room was nice & clean, but go to Splash if you want to swim in a pool or if you have kids. We stayed at Aqua in Aplil & at Splash in May & Splash still had 2 of the pools heated like bath water It was SO MUCH NICER. Pros: Excellent location near pier park. Only condo closer is calypso Gorgeous view with glass wall balcony Bunk beds in a separate area with 3rd TV
