Great location for lots of fun activitiesTWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy and very clean apartment. There are lots of windows so plenty of light, kitchen is small but efficient and seemed well equipped (although we didn't cook much), and the rooftop deck was a big hit with our toddler grandson for eating lunch and playing "I Spy." We were perfectly situated to walk to the beach, grocery store, and numerous restaurants. An added bonus was the cute neighborhood playground just a few blocks away, where the friendly regulars gathered each morning. Despite being in a dense neighborhood where sound carries, we had no real issues with noise at night, important since the unit does not have A/C so windows needed to stay open. As stated in the listing, the garage is small so it took some practice to back into it, but it held our car with no problems. I would suggest an eye mask since the blinds filter but don't block the outside lights. Be aware also, the bed topper is pretty soft so if you prefer a firmer mattress (as we do), you might struggle to get good sleep. Two fairly minor suggestions for the owners: a bath mat in the slippery tub would be a good safety measure, and perhaps provide a traditional set of sheets for anyone who wants to remove the mattress topper so they can sleep on the firmer mattress. Overall, a great place to stay and we would definitely return.
