With deep water and mile-wide views, it's easy to spend your days outdoors. In warmer months, enjoy swimming, boating, and exploring the Great Sauk Bike Trail. This home features a bright, open layout, modern amenities, and comfortable spaces to gather or relax. The main level includes all bathrooms for convenience, while the loft provides additional sleeping space perfect for families or groups.

Please note before booking:

**There are stairs from the parking area to the front of home.
**All bathrooms are on the main level.
**Outdoor security cameras are located at the front and back of the property.
**While we do not allow pets, please note that this is our part-time residence and we have a dog. Those with severe allergies should consider this before booking.
**For safety and liability reasons, boats may not be docked overnight or left unattended.
**Both piers are removed mid-October through mid-May and stored on the property for winter.

Hidden gem! Ideal girls’ getaway!

Beautiful, breathtaking view! The pictures don’t do it justice!! Cozy, yet roomy enough that everyone has their own space! Erin has thought of everything, down to the smallest detail! The property was great for the seven of us, and the lake access allowed the use of kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes. The dock was higher than expected, but we were able to lower boats manually as needed. The open layout was great for movie watching and relaxing. The loft was perfect for three teenagers hanging out. I did end up placing two concrete blocks at the screen door exit to accommodate my elderly mother since the step is very steep, but that worked great. The location was perfect, and overall an excellent place to stay.

Perfect Spot

What an absolute find! This was the perfect home base for our friends' trip. The home has everything you'd possibly need. Incredibly clean and beautifully appointed, from the quality linens to the baskets of cozy blankets and games for evenings in. Kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked, and it was plenty of space for four women with room for more. We loved the multiple outdoor seating areas, had a blast on a cooler evening with the in-ground fire pit, and enjoyed the views from the patio. The dock was well kept and perfect for sunrise yoga. The hosts made checking in a breeze and pointed us to the perfect convenience store up the street. When our group circles back to Wisconsin next time, we'll be sure to book this luxuriously cozy retreat again!

What a gem this VRBO is!! The cabin was so clean with cute updates! Our 5 girls loved the loft area for hanging out and sleeping. The lake view is absolutely gorgeous
from the house, the fire pit, or right on the dock! Exploring the area was fun too and we wish we had another day or two to explore more and stay in this quaint yet spacious home on the lake!! I truly would love to go back!

Great property!!

My family and I spent a few days at this lovely home. Erin was wonderful to work with. Very responsive to any messages I sent. Check in was easy and the home had everything we needed during our stay. The lake view was beautiful and it's the perfect location to everything the area has to offer. There were many great hang out places including the firepit, the living room and the huge loft area that allowed the younger people to watch their own tv apart from the adults. I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Location , Great House

Our family of 6 had an amazing time on this Lake Wisconsin home. For people into fishing -- we fished a ton and caught some decent bass , bluegill , perch and walleeye -- mostly right under the dock! We also took a side trip to Devil's Head beach and it was incredible. The house itself was clean, had everything we needed, and the kids loved the loft above. We're already thinking about next year!

We are a busy family of 4 from the Madison area. Our kids are avid hockey players among other sports but love boating, tubing and fishing too. Merrimac is a very special place to our family. Erin lived in Merrimac when she was young and has many close family members that still live there. Definitely a hidden gem that we are excited to share with others.

We weren't really in the market for a lake home when we toured this property but fell in love with it the minute we walked through the front door. Our family enjoys using it year round for boating, fishing and swimming in the summer and ice fishing, ice skating and ice hockey in the winter. The views are just simply amazing any time of year. It is not uncommon to see eagles soaring overhead and fish jumping out of the water. We have been told one of the best fishing spots on the lake is right off our dock. Due to our busy schedules and kid's sports we can't always enjoy it as much as we would like to which is why we have now made it available on VRBO. This place is just simply too amazing not to share with others.
