Dear Guest, As you will recall, we addressed the issues you mentioned immediately upon arrival. Our cleaning team offered you a clean cabin right away and we offered you a very reasonable refund to your account that same day for the trouble. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

You came in and within 1 hour of your arrival you demanded a "significant discount" on your stay from the owners. Every complaint you had, we offered you a solution. You adamantly declined them all. We offered to have our cleaning supervisor come to the cabin right away to verify your claims and to clean that the cabin if it was as dirty as you reported. You declined multiple times. We offer to have plumber come in to fix the supposed leak but again you declined. After you left, our plumber went to inspect the "leak" and there was no leak. Your claims proved false and it appears your intent was to get a "significant discount" from the very first hour of your arrival. I am hoping that future hosts take note of your behavior.

Unfortunately, this guest is being dishonest about her entire report. She stayed at the property for a total of 6 nights with 6 adult guests and reported the hot tub was dirty after her 3rd day of her stay. Hmm. In all our welcoming communication, we provide the phone number to our cleaning supervisor. We ask our guests to report any cleaning issues upon arrival to our cleaning supervisor so she can attend to the issue right away. This guest contacted us via text on her 3rd day demanding the hot tub be cleaned again because supposedly the hot tub was dirty. This guest was unaware that our cleaners take pictures after each cleaning showing the cleaning of all major areas including the hot tub. We merely stated and shared the photos taken of the clean hot tub before her arrival. Seeing that she was very unreasonable, and not accepting the facts shown in the photos, we asked the cleaning supervisor to go out and check the hot tub. She found evidence the guest had used the hot tub and she just wanted it cleaned again. The hot tub was cleaned, fully drained and filled at no extra cost to her. As for the stairs, it is a gorgeous property with lots of deck space. Yes, it requires stairs to get to the top deck to enjoy the views as shown in the website. Her other false claim: cleaning the cabin. Guests are simply responsible for taking out all trash, emptying the refrigerator, and washing dirty dishes before departure. This is very standard in our industry.

Thanks for the feedback. We have upgraded the stove to a brand new electric stove and a added a stainless rolling table in the kitchen for more counter space. The swing chair issue in fire pit has been removed and we still have a very amazing private fire pit for our guests. We look forward to hosting you again.

Yes, the severe weather caused damage to the electrical circuits and damaged the hot tub. The parts took 2 weeks to arrive. The hot tub has been working great since the repairs were made. We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

We are terribly sorry that the cleaning service did not meet your expectations and ours as well. Yes, we understand that a clean cabin is one of the most important services we can provide our guests. We have communicated with our cleaning team and have made it clear we expect nothing but the best service. They have expressed they plan to meet this expectation.
