Great Stay

The house was very clean and spacious, and the view was amazing! It was really nice that we were able to have our dog with us. Well stocked with everything we could need.

Breathtaking views and easy access to Homer

We were searching for a place to stay while fishing in Homer and found this gem a quick 20 minute drive away and we’re glad we did. Brand new home with great accommodations and a great view. Coffee pot was a bit small, but they had all we needed to make our stay amazing.

Incredible property and amazing views!

This property was beautiful! We couldn’t be happier with our experience. The house was even better than the pictures in the listing, and the view was just breathtaking! Everything was brand new and upscale! Can’t wait to go back!

The home was beautifully situated and beautifully appointed.

The only possible criticism would be that the West facing windows and west facing loft was difficult to darken for the daylight bright night hours. Really wonderful place overall.

Amazing views!

We loved this cabin. It’s all brand new inside and very easy to use. Sleeping was great, making meals was easy. It was about 20 minutes to Homer. We really liked all of it!

Amazing Fall Getaway

We loved our stay at Redoubt Retreat. We stay in a lot of vacation rentals and this one was by far in the top 2 all time favorites! Jennifer has clearly put a lot of time and effort into it. I’ve seen a lot of places more expensive and 1/2 as nice. This one was worth every penny and we will definitely be back again!

Beautiful Home

Great location and beautiful views. Loved watching the sunsets every night. The owners thought about everything to provide a comfortable home. Fully equipped. If you are a fisherman this is a perfect home with two deep freezers for your fish. Loved the home.

Was the perfect house for us

Beautiful view of Cook Inlet, so no guessing on “weather” should we go fishing or not just look out the BIG bay windows for the thumbs 👍. House is well put together for entertaining lots of Alaskan art. My bed comfortable with hi dollar mattress. It’s the place to be for fishing halibut tides. Well done will come back.

Beautiful location

The view was almost surreal, so breath taking. Loved having everything we needed on the first floor, no steps to laundry, main bedroom, bath etc. Even convenient 1/2 bath on main floor. We saw Momma Moose and her calf several times, many Eagles, and the funny Magpies. Very well stocked with everything you need, including a lot of paper goods, but do bring laundry soap and shampoo. Everything very modern and updated in this brand new house. Peaceful and quiet, even with the highway nearby, we did not notice it much. Attentive hosts that checked on us several times, and great communication with owner via messaging. Convenient to Kenai and Soldotna an hour north for Fred Meyers and Walmart. The Halibut at Captain Patties was the best ever in Homer.

Beautiful place in an incredible location. Very peaceful. We came for some "down time" and it was perfect. Stellar view. The only reason for 4 stars on listing accuracy is that VRBO listed a hot tub on-site. When we asked where it was she said there wasn't one and there wasn't supposed to be one on the listing. Because our daughter also has had issues with VRBO changing / adding things to her listing, I put the blame there. We were A-OK without the imaginary hot tub.
