We had an amazing week at this home with our family! It was so well outfitted for a great ski week and felt like we had everything we could need. We loved warming our ski gear (and ourselves!) by the stove and enjoyed the picturesque view of the woods out back. We enjoyed exploring around the property, and managed to find our way to Moss rock through two feet of snow on the ground. The house really had everything we needed to make us comfortable and we would happily recommend to friends and hope to stay there again! We were all sad to leave at the end of the week.

The host is very welcoming, the cabin is so charming! We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the fireplace and the beautiful mountains. So close to Mount Snow and also equally close to Wilmington to go out to eat there. Such a charming town and the chalet provided the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. The kitchen is well equipped to cook, the washer and dryer help to have especially with wet gloves that need to be dried. The driveway is well plowed and lit making it easy to find when we arrived at night. There were many games to choose from to play with the family.

Perfect winter chalet. Beautifully decorated. Comfy space with fireplace, cozy rooms, beds. Kitchen was well stocked. Close to skiing, restaurants, rentals. It met our needs and more. We hope that we can come back and book again. Mount Snow is only 8 min away. Easy parking. Maura was very responsive and gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend Alpenglow and Snow Republic brewery. All in all couldn't have asked for a better ski vacation. Thank you!

Wonderful stay

This home was perfect for our stay. Spacious, clean, and comfortable, as well as kid-friendly with plenty of games and activities. The location is fantastic - super convenient for getting to restaurants and shops in town, and to Mt Snow. Would love to stay here again for our next visit!

Great house for a small family get away

We loved staying at this house. The house is cute and cozy with it’s centrally located wood burning stove and woodwork. Had everything we needed and a very short drive to the mountain for skiing.

Mount Snow

This was our second time staying at the ski chalet. Great location to Mount Snow and local restaurants. House was the perfect size for us. The wood stove and glove rack/cloth hooks was a nice way to dry our ski gear. Check in and check out was super easy.

Great Ski Cabin

Great cabin for a ski weekend at Mt. Snow. Check-in and check-out was easy. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Metal coat hooks and glove dryers by the wood stove were a great addition and ensure warm/dry clothes in the morning. Kids had a fun time hiking in the snow to moss-rock. We will be back next year.

Perfect Cabin in the Woods Experience

This home was charming and located just 15 minutes from Mt. Snow. It provided all of the amenities a family of 5 needed for a Christmas week trip to MT. Snow. Communication with Maura was clear, concise and timely. during our stay the weather was less than ideal for skiing and our family of five spent a rainy day playing board games in front of the wood stove and looking at beautiful evergreens through the large sliding doors to the patio. This space did not disappoint and we look forward to a future stay.

Cute cozy chalet

Very nice cozy chalet in the woods. Location is a little remote, there is nothing around but 15 min from Mt. snow. Wood stove was nice but gets very hot. Hard to control the temps as the upstairs gets hot easily but the downstairs bedroom is cold. There are space heaters in bedrooms to help regulate the temp. Kitchen has everything that we needed but the oven is smaller than standard so the cookie sheets we brought did not fit in the oven. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a nice ski weekend. House is small but perfect for 4-6 people. 8 would be tight.

Though we understand our place is remote for some folks, we believe that is part of its charm and is still conveniently located only 11min from Mt Snow and 7mins from one of our favorite taverns, 1846 Inn & Tavern in West Dover! Regarding the heat our central furnace provides ample heat for the house. The space heaters are provided for guests if they wish as the chalet style design does pull heat upward. Alternatively, the wood stove is a great way to cozy up and enjoy the house. Guests are certainly welcome to open windows if it gets too and enjoy the fresh mountain air. ;) Thanks again for staying with us and your feedback.

Charming, cozy, and great location

This cabin is super charming and cozy, and is in a beautiful quiet location. The indoors are very clean and has everything you need during your stay. The outdoor space is great to relax by the fire in the evening. We enjoyed checking out Moss Rock, hiking the trails right in the backyard, and exploring some of the nearby towns like Marlboro and Wilmington. Would love to come back sometime!

Cozy Ski Chalet for the weekend

The property fit our group of two families well. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything you need and there were tons of games to keep the kids occupied. Overall a terrific experience.

Wonderful ski chalet near mount snow

We had a wonderful time. Everything was as advertised and the service was excellent. Check in was super easy with an e-lock. Maura and Josh were in touch every step of the way. We had a small water related issue on our second day but that was addressed in a matter of minutes. Josh was on the phone following up and getting someone in to fix the problem. It was all resolved. Couldn't be happier with their communication. The property itself is very nice and cozy. It's about a 15 min drive to mount snow. We had a snow storm on Friday and the driveway was cleaned up (Josh and Maura gave us a heads up on that as well). I would highly recommend this wonderful cozy place. If we come back to mount snow this is where we would stay. Thanks for a wonderful week ..

We are from CT and went to UVM and love all Vermont has to offer. We have two young girls and enjoy experiencing Vermont with them and enjoy sharing this house with our guests.

We purchased this from the original owners who hand-built this house. It was a labor of love and every detail was designed with intention. We fell in love with the architecture and the exposed wood details. We also have hiking trails and an Ice Age boulder and there is so much to explore.
