Family of 10 Vacation

Family of 10 and one dog had a wonderful stay. Location was easy to get to but enough away from the hustle and bustle to relax. The house had plenty of room to spread out when needed. We did have a couple hiccups with the house, but vacasa was prompt in answering and helping to resolve our issues. We loved that the kitchen table was big enough for our family. Mornings on the porch swing and glider were very peaceful. Be warned- it is listed as having parking enough for 4 cars. We had a F150, Yukon, and 2500 and parking was very tight.

Hobbs family vacation 2024

This place is pet friendly and a very relaxing environment. We loved our time here and the cabin, it did have some things that didn't work like the hot tub and movie room equipment and there were leaks in the kitchen. But overall the cabin is perfect for a family and there are plenty of space for everyone, we will definitely be back.

Great Get Away Location

I was visiting for Jeep Invasion weekend and loved the home. I enjoyed the swing on the porch, I'd sit there with my two dogs and listen to nature as it was peaceful and quite no matter the time. The location of the cabin was close to where Jeep Invasion and the strip were. Bedrooms were decorated differently, and each room came with it's own bathroom which was super nice. The pool table and arcade games on the upper floor were nice when you wanted to pass time. The area where the cabin is located has spotty service depending on your provider, but once we got connected to the home WiFi everything was smooth. We're hoping that we can visit for Jeep Invasion next year and we'd like to stay here again.

Beautiful cabin, just needs a little attention

We loved the cabin, the location is great, close to everything yet away from the hustle and bustle. The cabin has lots of potential if it would be kept up, the wrap around porch is awesome, but does need to be power washed. The hot tub did not work and I contacted Vacasa when we arrived telling them, they did respond quickly but that is all they did, no one ever came to check it out and fix it, and I was assured it was working prior to arrival by Eli. The garbage bin was full upon arrival and there was no room for any more garbage. I contacted Vacasa again quick response, but no one ever came to retrieve the garbage, even when I told them a bear was knocking it over daily. Tbere was some water around the fridge. The bedroom on the top floor has lots of dust underneath and one of the bedrooms on the bottom floor has river rocks under it. The queen bedroom on the main floor the box springs and mattress are sitting on the floor making the bed very low, which isn’t a bad thing, just odd. The description says parking for four cars, perhaps compact cars, but not 4 full size cars, we had 3 (a truck, SUV and full size car) and it was tight. The Smoky Cove resort area is beautiful and there are some big bears that make daily rounds. We would come back to this area for sure.

Dust Bomb

The cabin structure was fine, plenty of hot water, beds are nothing great, average cabin utensils, nothing fancy. The main problem was the dust and uncleaned scummy jets in bathroom tubs. Upon arrival, grandchildren went to the game room. Pinball machine, turned on, but did nothing else. Pac man game, has a button on the right side that needs turned on, to actually work, found that after calling, asking for someone to fix games. Man arrived, never contacting us on a arrival day or time. We had pulled in after him. He could not fix the pinball machine at all. Garbage can in kitchen, doesn't work, had to take the lid off the entire time there. Dryer doesn't heat up well, takes approximately 3-4 times to dry towels. Trundle bed is terribly lumpy. Broken closet door in top floor BR. Water dripping in basement bedroom from ceiling. Slippery showers!! Could easily slip.should have slip free bottom on tub floors. Hot tub outside wasn't clear, very cloudy. Toilet in queen bathroom, blocked up, called asking for a plunger (no plunger found) they did want to send someone out, but we weren't going to be there, and did have a dog in the cabin. Man said, someone would call Saturday morning, which no one did call. Used the other restroom for remainder of stay. Going back to the dust. The stuff bear in living room was very dusty. All (there's alot) of flower decorations was heavily covered in dust. Black curtains in 1st floor bathroom, very dusty. Dust on top of the refrigerator is the worst I've ever seen. Lots of dust noted under beds, after grandsons misplaced a toy. Had 2 family members, leave cabin and stay with other family, in a different cabin, they are highly allergic to dust. Could/would have been a nice cabin to stay at, if a little more maintenance was given to cabin and there was a lot less dust. Light bulbs in nightlights need changed.

Great cabin overall

Has some minor things that show wear and tear but pretty nice place overall. I asked at the time of booking if the hottub was working as I saw a review that said it wasn’t. The rep checked and assured me the problem was resolved. It wasn’t. Maintenance came out the next day and fixed it. I would personally have a person cleaning hit the button and make sure it is working since this will be at least two reviews with the same issue. . The dryer also needs the line cleaned out or something as it will not dry a load the first time. The pinball machine doesn’t light up where you can play it as well. It also had a leak in the top bathroom under the sink which appears to have been leaking for a spell. Other than that it is a very nice place. I am not sure I would rent this particular one again as I lost a day of my hot tub which I had asked BEFORE I rented and paid full price and had to stand outside for a long while and talk to the Phillipines to get maintenance to come fix it. Not the ideal thing to do on vacation. Again 4* as the problem was resolved but no mention of fee reduction. It’s all good we enjoyed it but probably won’t return. I will say I am not too enthusiastic about having the service center in the Phillipines and will probably try to find a local owner to deal with next time.

Outdated, not cleaned, thoroughly, missing some necessities.

I know I might sound like the male version of a Karen, a.k.a. Kevin, however, this was not a cheap rental, below are 10 problems that I found right off the bat. 1. garbage outside was full, nowhere to put more garbage. 2. No Internet code in the home, had to go to the vacasa office to get it, because there is no cell phone service. 3. My wife found what appeared to be a small breed, dog poop, under the pool table. 4. Blinds in the upstairs bedroom we’re all mangled. I spent 40 minutes untangling, them, so I could close the blinds and sleep. 5. Closet doors in the upstairs master bedroom were unhinged, just laying inside the closet, so ghetto. 6. There were no, body towels, just face towels, and hand towels. 7. Carpet on the way to the basement, and the basement carpet super dirty. 8. Hot tub light, in the tube, not working. 9. Upstairs, HVAC, not blowing warm air, set to high temp, we were freezing. 10. As tired as I was, every night, the HVAC upstairs was so loud, I could not fall asleep. Let’s just say, the place definitely needs work before more people stay there. Sorry to report, did not meet my expectations.

The house was not cleaned by the time we got there at 3:30pm & our phones would not work at the house. We had to drive away & then call to get the work done. They came a bit after 5pm so we all went to o supper & they were done about 8pm. Great family place

We had a moms and kids trip with two moms and five kids. Plenty of space! There was a game loft, a hot tub, and a theatre room. Great place to relax and enjoy games and movies. The fire pit was great and naturally the s'mores gave us a chance to try out the laundry options! Very convenient.

Family Vacation

The property and experience was great. The only issues we had were that there is apparently a leak in the upstairs bathroom. It was leaking on the main floor ceiling and the bedroom ceiling on the lower floor by the theater room. We couldn't get the pinball machine to work and the surround sound kept going off. We could have used a few more garbage bags also but we still had a great time. I would definately rent the cabin again. Thanks

Almost a 5 star stay.

So on solid ground is a beautiful cabin. The only things keeping it from getting a 5 star review is that almost all the fans didn’t work. There were several things broke knob on upstairs closet, bed post on upstairs bed, fire place cover was broke, surround sound downstairs didn’t work, the fan on the front of porch when you turn the lights on they would go off and on like there was a short in it. The bed in the upstairs bedroom was awful to sleep on. It seemed liked it was a cheep mattress. Was nothing like other beds. With that said none of this would been a deal breaker from staying there again other than maybe the mattress on the upstairs bedroom. There was plenty of space for our group and plenty of things to keep us occupied in the cabin. Let me say that the temperature of the water was spectacular. I don’t think I’ve ever been on vacation with 6 people and can have a hot shower the whole time and for what seemed like as long as we would have liked to stay in it. Our whole trip vacasa made sure to check on the cleanliness when we arrived sent us a chance to check out late if we wanted. Reminder of what we needed to check out and check in. We will definitely keep solid ground in mind for future trips!

Great cabin and location to Pigeon Forge

The Cabin is beautiful and roomy. 3 king size beds and 1 queen with adjoining bathrooms on all 4 bedrooms. Kitchen is small and there was no gas grill. Biggest issue was main floor master bath plumbing leaked through ceiling onto downstairs bedroom bed. A great time was had by my family at this cabin.

Slightly bummed…😢

The property was awesome and cozy until it came to one of the beds. One of the King beds frame was previously damaged and when my daughters laid down the first night the bed collapse and they couldn’t sleep on it for the remainder of the trip. The water temperature in bathrooms downstairs was lukewarm the entire visit and with 8 people trying to shower, it was problematic. I called guest services Saturday morning and the clerk said she would do a maintenance ticket and someone would contact me. They never did. The blinds were broken in the theater room, some of the burners on the stove didn’t work. There was also a lot of dust in the home and it caused some issues with my daughters…nothing serious. Some of the light bulbs were blown and the ceiling fan didn’t work in room but there was a standalone fan in the closet. My family and I over all loved this home and would definitely rent again. It was convenient to attractions and spacious. I think with a little attention to the aforementioned items, the property would receive 5 stars.
