The host was very helpful with recommendations on things to do in the area! The carriage house was awesome with the pretty antiques and I loved the location. The neighborhood felt very safe and we enjoyed nightly strolls looking at all the beautiful old homes.

We stayed for one night while traveling from Florida to NYC. We had an issue finding the address since the Apple Maps application sent us to a different location. The site doesn’t provide the phone number of the host but once VRBO was contacted, the host called us and he stayed on the phone until we arrived at the location. It is best to check in before nightfall. Room was very large and comfortable.

Convenient location

The property is comfortable and exactly how it looks in the pictures, it has a quaint vintage vibe, plenty of room , bed was comfortable, we spent a lot of time walking around Wilson and found the area very charming

Wonderful stay!

The Rosebud was so great! 2 rooms divided by a foyer, each with their own bathroom & shower. The neighborhood seemed very safe and the compound where we were at was great. My kids loved the trampoline and I liked all the old statues. Our puppy loved the air conditioning the most!! 3 beds as well and they were all super comfortable! Will definitely stay again.

Quite Carriage House

I had an overall great visit. The place has two large bedrooms and two nicely renovated bathrooms. It is older, but clean and comfortable. I was there with my dog and I loved the quiet neighborhood where we could take walks. The biggest negative was that the scented odorizer was too overwhelming (I unplugged it, which helped). I had no problems accessing the place and leaving was also very easy.

I left 3 text messages and 1 phone message for the owner, but did not receive a return call until the day before we arrived in Wilson. The owner called to inform me that he was changing the location of where we were to stay. With very little notice, we had no choice:( It was a very stressful stay!

Wilson Carriage House

This was a great find for when we’re in the area visiting relatives. We didn’t need a kitchen, just a place to sleep. We’ll definitely be back. Being new to Vrbo, though, we didn’t know what to expect re: checkout instructions. We never saw any specific ones so just made sure the trash was taken out and the house was locked when we left.

Historic Property

We were in Wilson for the State Little League Tournament. The Rosebud cottage was a perfect fit for our needs...spacious and clean, and only a few minutes from the sports complex. Though not equipped with a full kitchen, there was an apartment size refrigerator, a small microwave and coffee maker. Two bedrooms, two baths and pet friendly. We found a gem at an affordable price.

Family Reunion Weekend

We enjoyed staying here very much:) The decor certainly lived up to its name...rosebud. The furniture was lovely and the space was spacious. Basically it was clean, but it could use a really good "spring cleaning" as my grandmother would say. The linens were of very poor quality and some of the towels were right off the store shelf with tags): We would come again but bring our own towels. Thank you:)

Hidden Gem

All in all, a very nice place to stay - tucked back in from the street and walking distance to a restaurant. The king bed was super comfortable. Lots of security lights which is nice unless you are used to sleeping in much darker rooms. Enjoyed sitting out on the porch.

Great location. Lovely historic site.

Very comfortable historic site with antique furniture. Extras, including the workout bench and Roku TV were appreciated. We were able to easily walk to events at Barton College and other local sites. Would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful property and super clean. The only negative we have is that we had requested that the owner include pics of the bathrooms as none were included but he did not respond to that request. It turned out that there was no issue as the bathrooms were spacious and clean.

Reasonable access to ECU for a busy parents weekend

We normally stay in Greenville for ECU events but this was a very workable alternative when Greenville hotels were full and far more expensive. Clean and comfortable and spacious lodging.

Great place to stay!!

I was looking for a nice place to stay that was close to Barton College while my kiddo settled into her dorm. The location was within walking distance of Barton and the carriage house was comfortable as well as situated on very peaceful grounds. It was fun meeting and chatting with our host, too! I would definitely love to stay here again!
