The cabin was in a lovely wooded location with gorgeous views. The house itself was very cozy, well-appointed, and immaculate. We enjoyed cozying up by the fire surrounded by the Christmas decor! The owner was communicative and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay! This is a wonderful property and just like the photos. BEAUTIFUL sunset view. Perfect in every way

I consider myself picky, but every detail was truly perfect. The view of the mountains is breathtakingly beautiful. We had a lot of rain but the outdoor porch is designed so that we could still sit outside comfortably under the covered area, or inside a screened in porch, and stay dry. We loved having the grill and the house had everything we needed and more. The gathering area was perfectly designed for all of us to sit and play games, watch movies, or simply enjoy the fireplace. Every piece of furniture was very comfortable (especially the bed) and the house was spotless. We drove a short distance and hiked trails, saw waterfalls, strolled through the shops in Highlands and afterwards even went swimming at a covered, heated public pool they have there. However. I would have happily just stayed on that porch the entire time. We hope to return in the future!

This is a beautiful location, great views off the deck to watch sunset. It has a well equipped kitchen if you are going to do any cooking. All the beds are comfortable and the host is quick to respond to any questions. We had a great stay.

Great House for a Getaway

Beautiful home in a quaint neighborhood with amazing views! The floor plan was perfect and allowed my parents to be on one side of the house and my family (my husband and I and our four children) on the other. The home was equipped with everything we could have needed and more! It was very clean and tidy and the owner offered many suggestions on places to eat and shop and things to do locally with our children. Access to a laundry room was a huge plus when coming in from tubing. The amenities at Sapphire Valley were great too. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area!

This house was so perfect for our family! Having the split floor plan gave us privacy near the kids and my parents got peace and privacy on the other side of the common rooms. The first thing we all did every morning was to look at the view of the mountains. My dad and I sat and swung enjoying that view a lot. All of the beds and furniture was quite comfortable and we loved having the fireplace. The location was central to Brevard and Highlands and we were able to do a lot of adventuring with a quiet and restful place to come back to.

Awesome view

We had a fabulous time at Jason’s house in Sapphire Valley. Some of us played golf and walked the dogs at the dog park. The view was amazing and we loved sitting on the deck to watch the sunset. We had no problem getting amenity cards. Communication was easy and Jason was available for questions at a minute notice. The house was clean and well appointed. We would definitely come back.

Everything we could have wanted!

My husband and I very much enjoyed our week-long stay at this lovely property with a beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains. The bed was very comfortable, as was all furniture. Summer Getaway

As previously noted, the view from the deck gives this house marks above other houses we've stayed at in the area. We always had a pleasant breeze and lots of wildlife to view including a bear just passing through. The accommodations were exactly as described and very comfortable. The host did a fantastic job of communicating with us prior to and during our stay. Besides adding some comfortable reclining chairs on the back deck, our group gives this property a 10/10. Jason & Sharon have been coming to the NC mountains for years but purchased the Whitewater Whispers house in 2021. They have enjoyed spending more time in Sapphire and getting to know the area and using the amenities!

We fell in love with this house when we walked through the door and saw the vast mountain views of the Horsepasture River Valley, and then walked out to the back deck and heard the shoals of the river from the deck. Combine that with the pools, skiing, golf, and mini golf at Sapphire Valley Resort, this has been a perfect mountain retreat for our family. We hope that it is for yours!

Look forward to preparing delectable home-cooked meals in the home’s clean, well-appointed kitchen, which comes fully equipped with all the essential cooking appliances, including granite countertops, dishwasher, and full size refrigerator. Enjoy family meals around the dining table or head out outside to the deck, where you can dine al fresco overlooking the mountains. Master and guest bedrooms both have king size beds, third bedroom has twin over full bunk bed and a twin bed. The master bathroom features double sinks, a large whirlpool tub, and a stand-alone shower. The second bathroom has a tub shower combination and double sinks. The well-appointed full-sized kitchen has plenty of cabinet space, granite countertops, a dishwasher and a full size refrigerator. The large den has a stacked stone gas fireplace. A large porch spans the backside of the house with access from the master, den and guest room, has a screened porch and is partially covered. Enjoy the gas grill, the swing and the view! Wifi, 3 smart TVs, cable, full sized washer & dryer, central heat & air. Perfect for couples and family getaways. Sleeps 6-8 comfortably.
