Relax By the Lake! - Shorter May/June Stays Available

The Buddy Lodge is a modern home with an Adirondack feel. With three bedrooms and two full baths spread over two floors, the Lodge is ideal for family retreats. Pets are welcome (maximum 2) for an additional $95 pet fee.

You'll enjoy the beautiful view of Kayuta Lake through large windows by the fireplace or from the large balcony. Enjoy the BBQ, firepit and walk-out access to a dock and sandy beach for your exclusive use. A great location that will bring you the pleasures of all four seasons.

The space...
The top floor of the Buddy Lodge features a bedroom with a double bed and a full bath. The open floor plan kitchen, dining area and living room features a wood fireplace, beautiful exposed beams and large windows with a lake view. The Lodge is turnkey with cookware, serviceware and everyday essentials like a fridge, microwave, Keurig Duo and a four-burner gas range with an oven. Step out from the living room to the covered balcony to enjoy the lake view.

The ground floor hosts the main bedroom with a queen bed, a second bedroom with two twin beds and a full bath. The ground floor also provides two separate points of access to the covered patio, including via the main bedroom for private moments taking in the lake. Beyond the patio lies the large backyard with amenities including a grill, fire pit, Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, a hammock, volleyball net and room for plenty of outdoor activities. There is an easy walk down to the dock for access to boating, the beach and shallow water perfect for swimming. A warehouse-style two stall garage allows for snowmobile or other storage. Large Electrolux washer and dryer and two air mattresses are also available for guest use.

Other things to note...
Pets are welcome (maximum of 2) for an additional cleaning fee of $95 (2 pets is, $175). Please let us know how many pets you are bringing when booking. Pets must be crated when unsupervised, thank you.

Gorgeous Lake Setting

We loved staying at the lake. The house is chock full of amenities and the kitchen has all the equipment you need to make an amazing dinner. We love playing games at night and viewing the lake at dinner. Definitely don’t miss this one!

Thanksgiving holiday

We rented the house for our Thanksgiving and had a great time. It was the perfect quiet spot to spend time with family. There were plenty of things to see on our walks and my son had a great time playing on the frozen shore of the lake. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a quiet place to get away together!

Everything was amazing

Everything was amazing. Brandon and Corey left everything perfect for us. We appreciated having time together as a family. The kitchen has everything you will need to make food. The house is fully equipped. We did not have any issues, but if we did we knew help was only a quick call away which was very reassuring. Thanks for sharing your house with us!

Beautiful Adirondack winter weekend

The Buddy Lodge was the perfect setting for a fantastic winter weekend. Everything is clean and new. The kitchen is well equipped and Brandon left coffee,tea and delicious cocoa bombs for us. The beds are comfortable and the view of the frozen lake spectacular. Even though the temperature outside was in the single digits it was warm and cozy inside. We had a fantastic time snowshoeing near Old Fordge just a half hour drive and then had fun shopping in town. We also were lucky to ski at Snow Ridge 30 minutes away in 8 inches of new snowand no lift lines!. We will be back!

So relaxing!

We spent four days in the cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved collecting shells on the sandy beach. We went hiking on some of the trails nearby. We had a great time!

Great ADK getaway

This waterfront Adirondack vacation spot is beautiful. The house was spacious, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Our host was very hospitable and responsive. We enjoyed the fire pit, playing outdoor games and relaxing on the deck. Our dogs loved swimming in the lake. We definitely recommend the Buddy Lodge and plan to stay there again.

All the comforts of home

The Buddy Lodge is an A+ rental with an A+ host. We travel regularly for work and pleasure, and needed a place to stay in the Forestport area for a week and a half on a job site. If you have to live on the road, it’s hard to do better than this. While an entire house is a bit much for one couple, we really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen (including the excellent Bosch dishwasher), laundry machines, and wifi. The house is comfortable down to -19 degrees F (yuck). The entire house is clean, comfortable, attractive, functional, and very well appointed. All we needed were groceries. The lake view is lovely. After it snowed over a foot, someone came by and cleared the driveway while we were at work. Check in and out was as easy as it gets, and we appreciated how Brandon accommodated our unavoidably uncertain schedule. It’s beautiful here and we would definitely book again.
