Cottage #2 - Spearfish Orchard Creek Cottages

Enjoy the beauty of Spearfish in your own private cottage under mature evergreen trees close to the babbling Spearfish Creek! These cozy cottages have been a hot spot for tourists and locals since the 50s and have been recently renovated with a modern farmhouse touch. Each of our private cabins has a full, functioning kitchen, bedroom with a Queen bed, and bath with tiled showers.

This Cottage is extra cozy, as the bed is only accessible from one side and the bathroom is smaller than some of our other Cottages. Please review our photo album to make sure this extra cozy space is a fit for your stay. :)

*Dog friendly with approval first. * Pet fee is $30 per trip, up to 2 dogs allowed, No CATS. you are responsible for all cleanup and damages. Not allowed on beds and furniture. Must be crated if left inside while gone from the property.

Bedroom:
Queen bed. Smart tv. Rack and hangers for clothing. Gas fireplace. Ceiling fan. Luggage Rack.

Living Room/Kitchen:
Smart tv, couch, compact oven and mini fridge, Keurig, Free Wi-Fi, basic kitchen essentials for cooking (ask for more details if you have specific needs!).

Parking:
We have our own private parking lot right next to the cabins! If you are bringing a trailer or large moving van, etc, message us for more parking details.

Check in/Check out:
Our check-in time is 4pm, check-out is 10am sharp unless approved by one of us in advance. We will send you your check-in info with the door code and parking directions the morning of your check-in.

Fun things to do at the property:
- HOT TUB! There is a large decked area with a privacy fence around a community hot tub.
-Spearfish Creek. The edge of the property is on the border of Spearfish Creek. Great fishing!
-A nice, flat screen smart TV in every cottage with great streaming options included for free.
-Walk paths! We are in the center of town so there are several paths to walk the dog or take the kiddos to the park (several within 1 mile).

-Highspeed Wireless Internet. We currently have the highest speed the VAST sells which is advertised as 1 GB/sec.
- HULU LIVE, Disney+, ESPN is available from your TVs at no additional charge!
-Kpods, and Creamer there for your enjoyment at no charge
-Shampoo, Conditioner, and Bodywash in the shower
-Bath Towels, Hand towels, and washcloths
-Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Broom, Cleaning Products
-Kitchen has dishes along with a Sauce Pan, Skillet, Strainer, Cutting Board, and Mixing Bowls. Most importantly we have Coffee Mugs and Wine Glasses so you are prepared to wake up and fall asleep.

House Rules

As a Superhost, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our cozy home while leaving it nice and clean for the next guests.

IMPORTANT: No Smoking of any kind is allowed on the property as secondhand smoke can cause an asthma attack for the owner. Should this rule be violated, we will need the unit cleaned by a professional smoke restoration company and the guest will be liable for the $2,500 dollar charge.

Dog friendly! Dog fees apply. *We allow up to two dogs only. Pet fee applicable. There is a one-time pet fee of $30. No cats. Please message me for details. *

Quiet Hours after 10pm

General Damages
Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. All damages or missing items occurring during your stay will need to be paid for by you before departure. Cleaners check for damages and any missing items after each stay. Any damages or missing items can and will be billed to the guest.

Fire Prevention and Safety
Please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes space heaters, air conditioners, fans, hair curlers/straighteners and
portable device chargers.

Other
The space you are booking is for 1-2 people. More than two people are allowed in the home ONLY IF okayed
by the homeowner before check-in. No one is allowed in the home not already specified before starting stay.

We may leave consumables such as coffee and small snacks for you to enjoy. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. However, ultimately, it is up to the guests` discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.

If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of disruptions alerting
neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community, not a hotel, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.
