Stay at our new 4 bedroom/3.5 bath townhome and enjoy spectacular views of Engineer Mountain and Twilight Lake. Perfect for multiple families, the home has 2 living spaces (on different floors) each with its own gas fireplace and 65” TV, 2 Master Suites (one up and one down, each having its own TV/private bathroom), indoor/outdoor dining areas on both floors (lower outdoor dining area is covered), upgraded full kitchen, open floor plan and a covered hot tub that seats 6. There is a deck off the main living space with an outdoor dining table as well as additional seating and another outdoor living space off the ground floor living space with a private hot tub, gas fire pit and another outdoor dining table - both have awesome views.

Located directly across highway 550 from the Purgatory Ski Resort entrance, the home backs up to a designated federal wetland and is only 24 miles north of downtown Durango (less than a 30 minute drive).

The home is part of the resort so you have access to free on-demand shuttle service to Purgatory Ski Resort but since it is across the highway you have the privacy and additional space a townhome affords (it’s part of a duplex). At 8,900 feet of elevation, the home is a gateway to an amazing winter playground and also serves as the perfect summer retreat, with a million acres of national forest land at your doorstep offering all your favorite mountain activities. It’s only a 2 minute walk to Twilight Lake for fishing and paddle boarding and as well as Purgatory Flats Trailhead, one of the most scenic hikes in the San Juan Mountains. Horseback riding, jeep trails, an alpine slide, epic mountain biking and the Purgatory Inferno Mountain Coaster are all less than 5 minutes from the home.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer
travel insurance.
