Happy Goat Retreat is ideally located minutes away from Texasâs top tourist destinations. Just 4 miles off I-45 Freeway, we are located are less than 2 minutes from Lake Conroe. There is a convenient marina down the street that gives you quick access to the water. Lake Conroe is one of the top angler spots to catch largemouth bass and other fish! Other activities include renting a kayak or a boat to explore our beautiful lake or grab some lunch at several lakeside restaurants.
Of course, there are tons of parks nearby including the 2000-acre Huntsville State Park nestled in the Sam Houston National Forest . Here, you can hike or bike 21 miles of nature trails surrounded by the beautiful tall pine trees.
Shopping at the Outlets of Conroe or The Woodlands mall is also a short drive away . Here you can spend hours at the many fine retail stores and afterwards, grab a bite at so many wonderful restaurants.
There are endless fun activities for everyone.
