Enjoy the views from the enclosed sitting room or step right outside your door to feel your feet joining the sugar-like sand. Amenities include a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and enclosed porch. La Bella Bungalow sleeps up to 6 guests- one queen bed, one daybed (extra-long twin) with pullout trundle, and a queen sleeper sofa.

"The sugar-white sand of Anna Maria Beach beneath La Bella Bungalow goes deep into interesting and living history. It is a beautiful cottage with roots that have withstood the test of time on the Gulf of Mexico waterfront and hails stories of yore… stories passed down through the generations ~ five generations deep!

One story, as it has been told—and there are traces of referencing history—that this very cottage was a bathing suit rental depot at the dawn of the century. Scores of sun, surf, and sand-loving families, along with picnic seekers, would catch a ferry boat from across the Bay of Tampa to spend a day in paradise on Anna Maria Beach.

The walk traversing the island from Bay to Gulf was short enough to carry in tow pasta tubs, jugs of nanna’s sugo (pasta sauce), blankets for relaxing, and games of bocce ball to play in the sand. And, no worries, bathing suit changing and rentals were right here within the bungalow … steps away from cool dips and frolicking fun in the calm and crystal-clear waters of the gulf.

Like the changing tides, the one-room depot became a cottage for our families, expanded and added on by the very handicraft of family workmanship and heritage. The cozy cottage transformed into La Bella (the beautiful) Bungalow you’ll enjoy today. All the absolute comforts of home, but in THIS cottage, the magnificent golden sunsets, and the gentle gulf breeze whisper paradise at your doorstep…
