Der Blick ist einfach phantastisch

Diese Wohnung ist Teil eines phantastisch direkt am Strand gelegenen Hauses. Es gibt mehrere Einheiten, diese Einheit ist ausgelegt für 4 Personen, es sollten aber nach unserer Meinung höchstens 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder es bewohnen. Wenn man vom Bett aufschaut sieht man das Meer. Wenn man abends auf der Terrasse sitzt kan man jeden Tag den Sonnenuntergang sehen . Einfach phantastisch. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr gut die Ausrüstung völlig in Ordnung die Küchenmöbel sind nicht mehr ganz frisch. Die Lage entschädigt für alles und daher meine 5 Sterne. Dr Dieter Conrad

Right on beach

This cozy rental was perfect for me, my daughter and mother. I do think if we had more people it would have been tight. Renting this unit is ideal for people who truly value sitting on the porch and looking at the water. It has a great view and the walk onto the beach is as little as it comes. The AC worked great, bed comfort was average but that’s coming from someone that’s a bed snob,unit could have had some extra blankets and less extra pillows in the closet, because I liked it very cold and my mother wanted it a little less. The unit was good for making lunch and breakfast but cooking a meal for dinner isn’t ideal. They did have plenty of kitchen needs/appliances but I’d prefer more room for preparing a dinner. The kitchen, dining and living room is all in the same space.Parking is extremely tight and I’m not sure how all vehicles would have fit if all units were present with vehicles other than golf carts but it worked out for us. We did have a small challenge trying to get the keypad to work because instructions could have been more clear. Once we figured it out, it was a convenient way to get on and off beach without worry about a key. We also had a little trouble trying to get the two ceiling fans to work independently but once we figured out that one was also hardwired, we figured that out as well. All said and done, this is not a fancy condo on the beach but it was comfortable,clean and worth the money. Being so close to the beach was ideal for my mother. Be back!

Great sunsets

This is our third year staying at this property. It isn’t anything fancy, but it has the necessities and a great location. However, I will say there are various maintenance issues they’ve not fixed from year to year. The blinds on the door to the deck have been broken all three year we’ve come. This allows sun to pour in and makes the kitchen very warm. There is a fan in the hall closet, but the blade is broken and has been for the last two summers so it’s not usable. The remotes that control the fans and lights in the bedroom end up picking up each other’s signals. If you turn on the light in one bedroom, the one in the other comes on. This is only an issue if someone is sleeping. Despite the minor maintenance needs,it’s clean. The view from the unit is gorgeous. It’s nice to sit on the covered patio to watch the waves and sunset if you aren’t wanting to venture down to the sand or if it’s raining. The location can’t be beat!

This property was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. The location was great! The view of the ocean from the back deck was the beautiful and it was so convenient being able to walk right out to the beach.

5 STARS FOR LOCATION

Steps from the beach, water views from our deck--couldn't ask for a better location. Central location on the island--easy to get everywhere. Nothing fancy but adequate for me and my sister. Might be tight for 4 adults but I like my space. Very clean except we found some broken glass under one of the beds. There are lovely beach chairs but can't take on the beach so we had to buy chairs and umbrella. The last day we found a bunch of equipment under our unit that we could have used! I wish that had been in the VRBO listing. We added our buys to the stash so hopefully someone finds them. The pool is a disappointment as it is extremely small, located between 2 buildings and the parking lot, and didn't look clean. It would be better to convert into a hot tub and decorate with some plants. The location on the beach makes it easy to overlook some of the cons and I would definitely return!

Yuck

The place was a house that’s been chopped up to be rental units. Uneven flooring throughout easy to trip on. Kitchen was bare. One plate 5 odd glasses and so gross I can’t imagine cooking there. One couch to sit on that’s it. The couch table and chairs are all crammed in one room/ kitchen and the tv is above the sink. To top it off the bathroom toilet is tilted so you can’t sit back and have to use the toilet hunched over. Only positive is that it’s on the beach and has a balcony but you had to move chairs to get the door open. Definitely will not return and advise others to look elsewhere.

Beautiful location

The location was great. We enjoyed several beach days. We stayed with another couple and it was a tight space even with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It had a rustic beach cottage feel. We had to go buy some saute pans because the ones there were not usable. It was nice that there were some beach chairs we were able to use. We also used the grill but we had to clean it up a bit first. The property could use an overall deep clean, but the location was so phenomenal that we could overlook the other shortfalls. Check in was smooth. Parking was good. Furniture felt crowded.

Great Location

Major complaint was no outside lighting at main entrance and stairs of Unit 4. As an old building more electrical outlets were needed. I think it might have been a church at onetime. The pool was the size of a baptismal pool. Besides all the quirks the location is wonderful and a good time was had by all.

Location, Location, Location

You can't beat this location. The view from our balcony/deck was as good as it gets. White sand and the ocean. Sunsets with cocktails in hand. We really enjoyed this unit. It's all about the beach, that's what makes this a great choice for the money. It's a beach cottage, a little funky, and sure, it could use some updates, but that's not why we love it. We love the view and the location. We would totally go back again. We rented cruiser bikes to get up and down the island, that's the best way to travel while on the island. The auto traffic is conjested, so bike or walk is best.

Lovely apartment on the beach

The apartment was immaculate and well-stocked. The balcony overlooking the beach was a wonderful spot to enjoy the sunset and watch the surf. A shared patio had plenty of lounge chairs and tables.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION Directly on the beach, which is why I booked this property. Property was clean, but needs remodeling in some areas. Outside lounge chairs were ripped and definitely need to be replaced ASAP. CAN’t operate one bedroom fan without the other bedroom fan turning on. Could also use outside and some inside paint work. Beds were very comfortable along with the rest of the furniture. We did have a WiFi/Cable problem the first day but was corrected on our second day. Anything we needed, Management was on top of it. Over all a nice mini vacation.
