Tastefully renovated and fully furnished Mid Century Gem on Central Beach! 2/2 Old Florida charm pool home with great afternoon sun facing south. Heated Pool during winter season! Lush, tropical and private backyard all fenced in. Property sits on large 14,000 sft lot located a block away from the ocean, Costa del Este resort, the best local restaurants like The Tides, local shops, farmers market… Literally walking distance to everything! Spend time in this treasure coast small Florida town, a piece of paradise called Vero Beach. Home was all upgraded in 2022. King size bed in master bedroom, 2 full size beds in guest bedroom and an extra twin mattress available for extra guest. All linens, towels and kitchen utensils included - kitchen is FULLY equipped. Wine refrigerator and wine buffet credenza fully equipped with all kind of wine and cocktail glasses. Outdoor dining table and chairs with gas grill by pool area. Pool is heated during winter season when temperatures drop below 78 degrees, pool has a hot tub area (it's not a jacuzzi) but it gets pretty warm during winter when the heater is running, nice to enjoy at night with a glass of wine :). GREAT real fireplace with wood logs provided, Gas kitchen range. All all utilities included.

The host was very rude. We had no detergent and they asked us to do the sheets and that we had to check out at 10am and not a minute over. When I said we could not do the laundry because there was no detergent the response was “Jesus, calm down.” They were very unprofessional and the house was definitely overpriced. The pool was not heated and very cold and the cooking supplies in the kitchen were very sparse. It was quite mid.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy home! It is filled with everything you could need and Gigi, the homeowner, is lovely. Communicating with her was a breeze! She was very helpful and kind. The pool was wonderful and we enjoyed seeing the marsh bunnies in the back yard every morning and evening. GREAT location, walk to everything downtown! We will definitely stay again!

Love The Gem

I was fortunate enough to stay in the Gem Oct 2024 and couldn't wait to go back. Finally, it was available for ten days in July so selfishly, I took them all. I love this house. With so many places to choose from, you still never know what you're going to get. The only surprises at The Gem are good:) The feeling you get is just peaceful. Extremely clean. No bugs, or noise. The property is larger than it appears in the pictures while the landscaping/garden, architecture of the house provide absolute privacy. The interior design, including baths, kitchen and furniture are exactly what you see in the listing pics. Stylish, well appointed and very comfortable. BBQ tools etc., the K has all essentials. Laguiole knives were a bonus ;) If you don't want to cook, delicious places, all close for a night out, or delivery. Groceries, restaurants, pharmacies etc. all deliver there. Check-in, easy. Location, speaks for itself- perfect. Internet, TV entertainment options all easy and no issues. Most importantly, Gigi is as lovely as her home. Gracious and generous with her time. She promptly and efficiently answered any question or inquiry I had. Again, clean, peaceful, beautiful, convenient...peaceful privacy. I love this house. Thank you Gigi!

This was our second stay at this location and plan on coming back for a third. We love the location, which is walking distance to so many restaurants and shops downtown vero beach. Very lovely and comfortable home, which was spotless. Everything was perfectly organized for our stay. Communication with the host was excellent.

BEST LOCATION IN VERO BEACH

THE COTTAGE WAS ADORABLE. WE COULD WALK TO RESTAURANTS, BEACH, SHOPPING AND BOARDWALK.THERE WAS A FARMERS MARKET ON SATURDAYS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. HARDLY A NEED TO GET IN THE CAR. WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND. OWNER WAS VERY GRACIOUS. EASY ACCESS AND SUPER CLEAN. DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP!!

Lovely stay in house a few blocks from the beach. Very close to our favorite restaurant The Tides. Walking distance to all of our other favorite spots in Vero including Grind and Grape. Enjoyed having pool in the backyard.

I Loved This House!

Navigating Vrbo listings, reviews, and choosing is a gamble. You never know what you're going to get. I assure you, this house is better in person than the listing. It was impeccably clean- including inside the cabinets, refrigerator, baths, floors (of course linens, furniture, etc.). No bugs the entire week i was there- in Fla! Not one bug, lizard, or anything living inside that house. It was so nice to walk barefoot on the clean floors with no fear of what may jump out, or what i may step on :) The interior of the house is exactly what you see in the pictures. Paired w/ the architecture (placement of windows, wall of doors looking out onto the pool) it was prettier in person. It's stylish, not cluttered, every piece of furniture is in the proper place, and the furniture is comfortable. And it's quiet! You hear nothing from outside. The property- i couldn't believe how private and quiet it was. The landscaping was beautiful, even after the hurricanes. The size of the property and trees provide privacy from neighbors (and seemed larger than it appeared in the pics) so you can enjoy the beautiful pool without anyone seeing you. The neighbors- I heard nothing and saw no one. I even went swimming late at night bc the pool/patio was sparkly clean and private! Location- perfect. Gigi couldn't have been more attentive. Any dumb question i had, she got back to me immediately. She's ab lovely! There's something special abt this house...it has peacefulness about it.

Disappointed the pool was not heated on arrival.

We were very disappointed that the pool was not warm to swim in. The pool man did come over less than 24 hours before our check out. Not enough time to heat the pool to make it able to go in. ) : I should have inquired of the temp of the pool before booking.

Close to beach

Booked this last minute after the hurricane helene it’s a nice house good layout and the pool was a plus after a beach day , kitchen came with items to cook i did notice that cleaning supplies were not replenished Beach chairs 4 of them so no need to bring chairs It’s about a 10 minute walk they have public parking no fee for 2 hours very nice beach and some nice restaurants near by The only negative was the bedding the mattress is both rooms are extremely firm almost too firm wasn’t the best night sleep so that would be the only down side maybe the owner can look into a softer mattress in the second bedroom just to give someone an option for a pillow top less firm
