Welcome to Blissful Bayou, a cozy lakefront cottage on Grand Lake St. Marys in Celina, OH! This charming “Key West style” 1 bedroom, 2 loft, 1 bath cottage accommodates up to 6 guests and offers gorgeous views of both the pool and the lake.

Step inside to a fully-furnished, open-concept space featuring a fully stocked kitchen and a comfortable living area with a Smart TV – the perfect spot to relax after a long day on the lake. Cable and internet are provided, and you’re welcome to sign in to your favorite streaming accounts. The main floor includes a queen bedroom and full bathroom. Upstairs, you’ll find two lofts overlooking the living space – one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds.

Enjoy a restful night’s sleep on a comfy memory foam mattress with quality linens that are freshly laundered between guests. A washer and dryer are also provided in the unit for your convenience.

Outside, sip your morning coffee on the covered porch, unwind on the private patio, or head to the nearby gathering and pool areas. Boardwalk Village guests will have access to enjoy both pools, grills, outdoor dining areas, a four-season pool house, yard games, and more. Free parking is also available for guests. Guests will receive a door code prior to arrival for an easy self-check-in.

We’re just minutes from downtown Celina, where there you’ll find plenty of shopping and dining options. You can walk, bike, or rent a golf cart to explore the area.

BEDS: This unit sleeps up to 6. On the main floor, there is a master bedroom with a queen bed. There is an upstairs loft, accessed by a small set of stairs, with a queen bed along with another upstairs loft, accessed by a ladder, with 2 twin beds.

PARKING: This cottage comes with 2 parking passes that are provided inside the unit. If they are not left in the welcome basket upon check-out, you will be charged a fee of $75/each to replace. No additional parking passes will be given. If additional parking is needed, please contact the host. Parking at BOARDWALK GRILL is prohibited unless you are dining at the restaurant.

POOL: We will provide 6 wristbands in your unit for each guest to access the pool areas. We also provide a key fob that gains you access to the pool when open. You will be able to access both pools with this key fob. Pool access is for staying guests only.
*Pool Season: May - September (time frame may change depending on weather)*
*Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty. Guests use the pool at their own risk. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur in the pool area.*

PETS: This unit is NOT pet friendly. However, we do have select units that are pet friendly at Boardwalk Village – Pelican’s Perch, The Captain, 769 TH, 771 TH, Sandlot, Glistening Gem, Sunny Shores, and Coastal Charm.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: At Boardwalk Village, we pride ourselves not only on our superb service but the quality of our units as well. With that, a $250 security deposit will show as a pre-authorized/pending charge on your credit card prior to your check-in. This is to cover any broken, stolen, damaged and/or irreplaceable items, and smoking anywhere inside the unit. This pre-authorized/pending charge will fall off of your account if none of the above happen. If the cost of damages exceeds the $250 security deposit, the additional amount will be charged to the card on file.

CANCELLATION POLICY: The cancellation policy is a 100% refund up to 60 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival, no refund within 30 days of check-in. This also applies to any reservation date changes. When booking through Airbnb, the cancellation policy is a 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival.

ADDITIONAL BOOKING INFO: You will only be charged 50% of your entire reservation amount upon booking (unless your check-in is within 30 days). The final 50% will be auto-charged 30 days prior to check-in.

BOAT RENTALS: Helton Lodge Boat Rentals is located right here at Boardwalk Village! Helton Lodge offers rentals for pontoon boats, kayaks, paddle boats, golf carts, bicycles and more!

BOAT DOCKS: Dock spaces are available for rent for $25 per each day of your reservation if you are bringing your own boat. If you are renting a boat from Helton Lodge, you do not need to rent a dock as one is already provided.

SUB SHACK: We`ve got two awesome Sub Shack locations! Boardwalk Marketplace - Our seasonal (May 1st-September 30th), weather-based spot serving subs, salads, apps & more. Shipyard Sports & Events Center - which is just 0.6 miles down the road from Boardwalk Village! Enjoy a full dining experience with subs, salads, apps, drinks & plenty of fun. The restaurant overlooks the Sports Fieldhouse, so you can kick back while the kids shoot hoops, play soccer, and more (when leagues and tournaments aren`t in session). Plus, take a swing in our indoor golf simulators!

FITNESS CENTER ACCESS FOB: An amazing fitness experience awaits you at Innergy Fitness, located inside Shipyard Sports and Event Center. By purchasing an access fob add-on at check-out, you`ll get 24/7 access to top of the line cardio + strength equipment, a dry + infrared sauna, and access to their innovative fitness classes! The cost of the access fob add-on is $5 per fob per night of your reservation, so you are able to access the Innergy Fitness facility throughout your entire reservation. If it is not left in the welcome basket upon check-out, you will be charged a fee of $75 to replace.

BLUE GOOSE SHUTTLE: Hop on the Blue Goose and let it shuttle you to all the local events, bars, restaurants, and shopping locations. The Blue Goose travels on its regular route throughout Celina on weekends from May 1st through September 30th. From October 1st through April 30th, you can call in advance to reserve the Blue Goose. Don’t worry about driving anywhere during your stay at Boardwalk Village!

COCONUT HUT: located in the Boardwalk Marketplace, is open and serving up island vibes, delicious food from the Sub Shack, and tropical drinks, 7 days a week from May 1st -September 30th! Since it`s located right behind this unit, we wanted to give you a friendly heads-up that you may hear some music and laughter during open hours. It`s a lively, laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere we`ve created for guests and locals alike - and we hope you`ll come check it out!

WEEKLY/MONTHLY OFF-SEASON DISCOUNTS: We offer a 15% weekly discount if you stay 7+ nights and a 30% monthly discount if you stay 30+ nights. These discounts are valid during our OFF-SEASON months only (October-April). The discount codes can be applied at the time of booking your reservation but are not valid if you are taking advantage of our extended stay program. We have the right to remove the discount code from your reservation if you are staying in a unit that is part of our extended stay program. An extended stay booking is for short-term, temporary lodging only. No tenancy rights or landlord-tenant relationships are created. This property may not be used as a permanent or primary residence. Guests may not receive mail or packages at this address. Guests must vacate the premises by the end of the reservation. Failure to vacate will result in additional charges, and legal action may be taken if necessary.

**The fourth phase of Boardwalk Village is currently under construction. Construction will begin October 2025 and is expected to be finished Summer 2026. This is taking place on the far South end of the property. Do take this into consideration when booking as there will be construction work going on during this time frame from 8am-4pm during the week. The crews will be cognizant of guests staying during this time and will keep noise as minimal as possible while still trying to stay on schedule to completion. Thank you for your understanding!**

QUIET HOURS begin at 11PM.

CHECK OUT TIME IS 10AM. Please vacate the unit on time so our cleaning staff has enough time to prepare for our next guests. Please close all windows and lock all exterior doors. Late departures will be charged $75. Our housekeeping staff has carefully cleaned, stocked and inventoried this unit prior to your arrival. Please help us maintain the inventory by placing items back where they belong so we can keep our level of quality for all guests. If the rules are overlooked or there is excessive cleaning required, extra charges will be added to your reservation.

All dishes used should be cleaned AND put away, or put in the dishwasher (if applicable) and the cycle started.

Please empty the refrigerator & EMPTY liquids (like milk, juice, etc.) before disposing containers!

We absolutely love it here and have been back a couple times. If you want to be right in the action stay in the cottages on the right side of the smaller pool. If you want a little quieter evenings stay on the left side. It's an awesome mix of activities to keep kids busy and adults entertained. We hardly ever leave the boardwalk village property when we're there. The cottages are very clean, well decorated, and pretty well appointed as far as kitchen and bathroom supplies.

Just beautiful!

What a great time we had! The cottage was so adorable, had everything you needed so neatly arranged. The decor was perfect. We all felt like we were somewhere in the Carribean! We met the groundskeeper, and he was so nice and informative. The place is just perfect! Can't wait to come back with the grandchildren next summer! Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful property!

A lovely property - very clean and nicely done. Note the stairs to the upstairs loft are quite steep and the ladder to the other loft is not for anyone who wants to carry anything to their room. The pools were great. The part of Blissful Bayou we didn’t enjoy is the noise/proximity to the bar next door - construction right outside the bedroom window began at 7am Friday, bands/music at the bar right outside the window until 11pm each night, and bar patrons’ cars in the reserved parking spot every time we returned. Felt overpriced for the experience.

Beautiful spot with a great view!

This rental is in a small group of adorable beach themed rentals right on the lake. This property is on the end with the front door out to the pool and a side porch with a view of the lake. The house is immaculate, modern and comfortable. We came up just for a night to get away and spent the evening at the bar/restaurant a few steps away with great live music and wonderful people. I would imagine the place would be an absolute blast in the summer, but in the office season it was a quiet, peaceful and perfect place to recharge close to home. I can’t wait to come back.

Our stay at Blissful Bayou

We chose this particular property because we stayed there in October 2024 and really enjoyed it. This stay we found the house exceptionally clean and remember it exactly as our last visit with 2 exceptions. On the first day that we got there we noticed the refrigerator making quite a bit of noise. It seemed that each day there the noice got louder and louder. By the third day, it was a relief when the refrigerator motor shut off and we couldn’t believe how quiet it was. The second issue is that even though we knew a lot of building was going on, we were not aware that a new building was being constructed right out the bedroom window and the noise in the morning was unexpected. These are the two reasons we gave an “okay” rating.

Rest, relax, and enjoy!

Our cottage was exactly as shown in the photos! It was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the cottage itself was well insulated from outside noise. The kitchen was loaded with all the glasses, dishes, pots, pans, and utensils you could wish for
 clean and in good order! The outside amenities were also impressive. The swimming pool was clean and inviting, the bag toss games (cornhole) were in good condition, and the huge grilling station was clean and ready for use. We opted to visit the bar and grill located near the cottages both nights of our stay. The food was very good and the service was spot on. Everyone we spoke to connected to this property was pleasant, knowledgeable, and happy to engage with us. We will definitely do this again!
