For ultimate comfort, we have furnished our home w/ CB2 and West Elm along with DreamCloud Mattresses and Casper Pillows. We are 2 mi from St. Mary's Glacier, 20 mins from Downtown Idaho Springs (restaurants, shops & bars). We are 30 mi from the closest ski resort (Loveland Pass), an hr and 15 mins from Vail, and 50 mins from Denver. With views for miles, a hot-tub, a stocked kitchen, luxury bedding, and premium cable, you'll have all that you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The Space:
Inside:
Upon entering you will be greeted with stunning mountain views and a well designed space. Every room upstairs has breathtaking views from over 10,000 feet! This extravagant vacation retreat is split between 2 levels offering different options for entertaining and space for the family to spread out. Our main level has our kitchen, dining table for 6, living room and our master bedroom w/ an en-suite bathroom. The loft is accessed through the master bedroom. (Please note the loft is not private, as it is above the master bedroom and living room). Retreat downstairs and you will find our family living room, 2nd bedroom, 2nd bathroom and the access to our deck and hot-tub. Our sleeper sofa is located in the downstairs family room along with a small desk for catching up on emails or work.
Our 2 bedrooms are equipped with Dreamcloud mattresses, Casper pillows, Smart TV’s w/ premium cable, noise machines, and furnishing from West Elm and CB2. The loft is equipped with a Casper mattress. Please note: The master bedroom does not have curtains on the top 2 windows. If you plan on sleeping in, please travel with eye masks. There are also 3 decorative cutouts up high in the wall between the master bedroom and living room that can take away from complete privacy.
Outside:
Once on our outside deck, you will find our hot-tub overlooking stunning views. In late spring and summer, enjoy the sounds of our man-made water fountain, that pulls water from a stream that rolls through our property. The natural wild flowers are a sight to be seen too!
Getting out? Hike St. Mary's Glacier Trailhead, Visit the Historic Argo Gold Mill & Tunnel or drive down to Indian Hot springs. In the winter, visit Echo Mountain for Skiing, Snow Boarding or Tubing or access many ski locations that are within an hour and twenty minutes (listed below). The summers are ideal for rafting, hiking, fly fishing, zip lining & more!

We are located 10,500 feet above sea level. Located off of I-70, we are a 20-minute drive up the mountain with the last 0.50 miles of the drive being a gravel road. Our driveway is flat making parking easy. You will need to walk down about 20 steps to access our home. We do recommend AWD or 4WD during snowy months and AWD all year round. Strictly two cars per reservation maximum.

Our entire home is available to guests. Self-checkin instructions will be sent 48 hours before your stay.

Getting Around:
We highly recommend a 4WD or AWD drive vehicle in snowy season. We feel the drive is relatively easy given the elevation but is relative to your experience with high elevation and mountain roads. Send us a message if you have any questions or concerns.
Other Things to Note:
If it snows during your stay guests may need to shovel the deck/pathway to clear a path. We have snow removal service after every major snow storm ends but it is likely you may need to shovel snow. Ice melt is usually readily available. 4WD vehicles are required October - May and AWD is required year-round. Please inquire prior to booking if you have questions regarding road conditions. If roads are open and you can't make it to the rental no refunds will be issued.

There is one outdoor security camera we use to monitor weather.
LOFT
The loft is accessed by a built in ladder and is connected to the master bedroom.

PARTIES OR EVENTS
There are no parties or events allowed at the rental.
PETS
We are a pet friendly rental. We charge a $100 non refundable pet accommodation fare during your stay. Please inquire about multiple pets, cats or a multiple month stay.
If house rules are broken we reserve the right to withhold your security deposit and/or cancel your reservation.
HOT TUB
Our hot tub servicer rotates the service day. It typically falls Sun-Wed. This can vary. There is a chance the hot tub will be serviced during your stay. When the water is changed, it takes 12-24 hours for the water to reheat. If this occurs during your stay, we cannot guarantee the hot tub will reach the desired temperature at that time. Hot tub rules posted at the property. If our hot tub rules are not followed and a water change is needed due to mistreatment of the tub, we will charge a $150 change fee.
CHILDPROOFING
Guest understands that no special efforts have been made to “childproof” this house and accepts the risk or harm to any children/infants we allow on the property.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
After confirming your booking, you'll receive a text to download our app, DACK. Using the app, you can request early check-ins and late check-outs for an additional fee. While we can't guarantee approval due to same-day check-ins and check-outs, we'll do our best to accommodate your requests when possible.
TRAVEL INSURANCE/CANCELLATIONS
We HIGHLY recommend buying travel insurance through your airline company, car rental company, or a travel insurance website. We cannot provide a refund for anything that falls outside of our cancellation policy and the dates that correspond with the policy. This includes date change requests as they are considered the same as cancellations (if the new requested check-in date is a later date than your original check-in date). We cannot provide a refund due to travel related issues or Covid, Please review your cancellation policy if you haven't already. This can be found under your reservation, directly through our listing, or through the website that you booked. In most cases (but not all), you have a minimum of 48 hours to cancel your reservation to receive a full refund. Many reservations may have a longer period for a full refund. Last minute bookings are typically non-refundable.
