Lots of outdoor activities including deep-sea fishing, Blue Wahoo Stadium & the Naval Museum is a national treasure only minutes away.
Extremely quiet street. Shopping (Target, Walmart, Aldi, Publix) is right around the corner.
Enjoy the peace and quiet in this neighborhood or a soak in the nearby beaches (Perdido Key, Pensacola, Fort Walton, Destin, Sandestin) and many others, only few minutes from us.

Amazing experience

I traveled with my daddy and husband and my neighbors (family of 5). We all loved the place, neighborhood and communication with owners. Will definitely go back there.

Florida vacation

It was nice. Very clean and several extra touches that made it very welcoming. The yard was beautiful with plenty of room for everyone to play. The only downside was only one TV in the Living Room and the dryer did not work, but we just went and got a clothes line that worked in a pinch. All in all I would recommend it and would certainly be willing to stay there again. We had 7 adults and one 5 year old child with us and had plenty of room for all. They also had little toys and pillows and such for kids that was a very nice touch. Very welcoming and I’m very happy that we stayed there

There were MULTIPLE issues with this property. The house had ants, roaches and the dishwasher stunk so bad we couldn’t even use it. When we arrived there was sticky stuff on the counter and washer. There was multiple carpet stains on the floor, missing pieces from the counter top, the gazebo is outdated and full of wasps and vines, the front door steps are caving in and are hazardous. The outdoor chairs have no cushions. The dishwasher had a foul smell that was so bad we didn’t use it. Upon my stay the oven and stove did not work and I had to call the host over 10x to get an answer. When she finally answered she gave nothing but excuses and stated, “she has a cleaning crew” & proceeded to follow up with receipts from the cleaning crew stating they did a throughout walk through. Thankfully she was able to get an electrician to come and fix the stove but wasn’t very nice about it. If I could have stayed somewhere else with 8 people on Labor Day weekend at the last minute, I would have gotten a full refund to do so.

Upon entering the property, we found a cigarette but, dead roach and popcorn on the floor by the trash can at the front door. White substance on pillow cases in middle bedroom and food under the couch. We stripped the beds and washed the linens. While washing, both bathrooms backed up and started flooding. We contacted the host and advised her of the problem. We cleaned up the floors with the supplied towels. Host advised she would get a plumber assp. None ever came. She stated she was sorry, but couldn't find a plumber to come out. We took towels to laundry mat , washed and dried and returned them. Host advised me to remove plug at corner of house to stop problem. We did this and all sewerage came out in the back yard. After promising to forgo 1 days rent for inconvenience, instead she accused us of stealing her ragged towels! This is the very worst vacation rental we have ever experienced. Definitely would not recommend anyone to stay there!

Pictures are old, property doesn't look that nice anymore

The property didn't match the pictures. The back yard was beautiful but the bar area no longer exists, the gazebo in the back yard needs some work, there are cracked boards and sticker bushes growing up the steps on one side so it wasn't safe to have my 2 year old out there. The table and chairs outside that it shows in the pictures doesn't have any cushions so you can't sit in the chairs comfortably. The grass was so tall we couldn't use the yard. The steps to the front door are pretty rickety but we went out the back(sliding door) most of time. The sewer backed up the second night there and seeped up through the shower so it smelled terrible until the owner had it fixed. VRBO put us up in a hotel for 2 nights because neither I nor them could get a hold of the owner. (This took 2-3 hours each time on the phone with VRBO to get them to do anything so not happy with them either) The window above the kitchen sink leaks when it rains and looks like it is about to fall in. The foosball table is partially broken and the legs are bowed in so be gentle if you choose to use.it. The back porch was great and we spent most evenings out there chatting. Overall we made it work but save yourself the trouble and book with elsewhere!

Hello Amanda, Thank you for your feedback. First off, all the pillows for the outdoor chairs are stored in a crate right next to the chairs to prevent then from the Florida humid weather and dust. Our guests always have quick access to these. Our lawn maintenance is done routinely on a weekly or biweekly schedule depending on the season. The crew is always happy to come out should a guest request. Our management crew that is located about 10mi from the property are always quick to fix our guest requests. Surprising, none of the issues you mention were brought to our attention during your stay. VRBO never notified us that you had reached tried to reach out to us or to them and they did not mention you searched for a hotel. It appears there was a communication breakdown. We will definitely place a notication on crate with the outdoor seats cushions . Our lawn care has been notified on the lawn issue so they can pay extra attention to area around the steps . We are appreciative that you completed your stay with us. Our guests comfirt remain our utmost priority. Thank you for your feedback. We will continue to improve and make the best stay for our guess.
