Want a beach vacation while avoiding all of the traffic and crowds? With an unmistakably more local vibe, this is the perfect bungalow apartment for you. Feet from the ocean, nestled in the private, residential section of the beach, but minutes from the lively resort area, this charming apartment has it all. Feel the ocean breeze while sitting on the patio. Enjoy a beautiful hike or run in the woods at First Landing State Park, with access on the street.

This apartment has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 full bathroom, living room with sleeper sofa and a TV, and a newly renovated kitchen. Located on the 1st floor and has a private entrance. There is free street parking, as well as a small yard and patio. Guests have access to shared bikes and a grill. Linens and towels are included.

Some things to note:
GUEST ACCESS:
-- Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check out at 10:00 am. We love to host, so we have a high turnover rate, and our cleaners strictly adhere to this schedule to accommodate.
-- A door code will be sent to you a week before your arrival.

AMENITIES:
We provide fresh linens, towels, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels & trash can liners. *THINK OF THESE ITEMS AS “STARTER KITS” - Highly recommend you bring additional items such as coffee/cooking spray/water bottles etc*.

PARKING:
There is some private parking, and a detailed map will be sent upon booking. Additional details regarding public parking options will also be provided.

KITCHEN:
Fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and all the basic kitchen essentials; Pots/Pans/Plates/Cups/Utensils

CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES:
We ask that you leave everything in the home as you found it, strip the linens from the beds, run the dishwasher, and take trash to the bins on the street. This will ensure the quality of the home for the next guest and expedite the cleaning.

REFUNDS:
Highly recommend trip insurance. We do not give refunds due to the weather.

PETS:
We are dog-friendly for pets 20 lbs and under. We kindly ask that your dog is kept secure when you are away from the home, and that you clean up after them. $100 non refundable pet fee will be assessed after booking is confirmed.

We enjoyed our stay close to the beach - loved that there were bikes and beach chairs to borrow. Would stay here again as it was a nice space for our family. 3 stars - shared the following to the owners to make it a 5 star stay: needed beach towels, a broom in the place would be nice, vacuum needs replacement/fixing, hooks needed in the bathroom, ants in the kitchen.

Would have given it 5 stars

I would have given you a 5 star rating but house was full of dog hair upon checking in on the couch and bed but other then that the stay was great. Would definitely be open to coming down and staying again no dog hair this time hopefully lol

Clean and close to beach

The apartment is nice for a short stay. The host is easy to communicate with as well. The location is two blocks from the beach. As an adult, I was fine crossing the busy road to get there (no crosswalk or light) but I would be more concerned with kids. The internet worked well and there was a full sized kitchen. No amenities like toiletries, coffee, etc. are provided. But Instacart comes quickly.

Wish we had been upstairs

Nice clean property . The hosts were very helpful. Beach chairs and bikes were available. The outside seating area left you feeling exposed. The family staying upstairs had a young child who made a lot of noise at odd hours. Next time we will definitely go for the upstairs unit. It has a screened porch and more privacy

The North End is the neighborhood at the north end of the beaches on the Atlantic Ocean right before the coastline turns west into the Chesapeake Bay. It's about 3 miles long and two blocks wide, so matter where you are, you're less than two blocks from the beach.
