Perfectly situated in Kitty Hawk on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and only 150 yards to the spacious beach. An easy breezy stroll with your morning coffee to catch the sunrise then easily walk back to the house for breakfast. The beach access is wide with no oceanfront properties to the immediate south, giving you lots of sand space!
The house is always improving and 2026 is no exception! Get ready for a whole new look! Outside has plenty of polywood seating, decking, and shade and inside is clean, fresh and has plenty of natural lighting.
Located just one street behind the oceanfront, Lindbergh Avenue is coveted for its quaint, family and dog friendly atmosphere. Although you are vacationing on a sandbar, you can still enjoy bike rides and lovely walks up and down this neighborhood street. You will be walking distance to oceanfront dining at Ocean Boulevard and a local favorite, Art's Place, for live entertainment, breakfast, and burgers! Rundown Cafe also has oceanview seating. Take a bike ride to Duck Donuts or High Cotton BBQ!
Spring and Fall are fabulous weather months with some flexibility on check-in/out days. Just ask if your preferred dates aren't showing up. No Dog Fee. No Cleaning Fee. No Linen Fee. No Anything Fee. Free Pool Heat for Spring and Fall.
Summer prime weeks are Friday-Friday weekly rentals only. Arrive any time after 4:00pm and wake up Saturday morning at the beach! Your beds are made and your door code is ready to use!

Here it is! A Family Favorite with Pool and Hot Tub, Turf for Cornhole Play or Cartwheels, Side Yard for dog business, and less than a 90 second walk to the wide and spacious Wilkins St. beach access! There is a huge Pergola over the turf and tall enough not to interfere with your cornhole game! Lots of shade options, too! And with mature, natural vegetation, you will enjoy plenty of privacy!
The ocean is so close you can see it and hear it from the house! And the beach access point is just around the corner on the residential Wilkins St with a generous entrance and miles of beautiful beach just waiting for you! Grab your coffee to catch the sunrise then return for some breakfast and to gather the rest of your crew. Beach chairs and a beach cart make the safe and easy "stumbling distance" walk to the beach a breeze.
Enjoy the dolphins, sand pipers, loons and pelicans throughout the day and in the morning and evening keep your eyes fixed on the sand and be entertained by the busy ghost crabs. Stay as long as you like or leave and return at your leisure. The house and the beach are THAT close and convenient! When you are ready to depart, pack up your supplies and roll them back in the balloon wheeled beach cart which is located in the laundry/utility room.
Upon your return, rinse off your sandy feet in the spacious outdoor shower and head through the gate to that refreshing, sparkling blue pool. Or sit under the deck in the shade and take a plunge whenever you want. When it's time to eat, enjoy a well-equipped kitchen and gas grill to make the day complete. You can choose to eat near the pool or take cover from the sun on the front deck table or at the picnic table on the front platform deck under the house. After the meal, head back to the beach and play frisbee, fly a kite, take a walk as the tide rolls in, or simply gaze in the sand and watch the ghost crabs scurry as they come out to clean their homes, wet their gills and snag a little dinner themselves.
As the evening darkens, flip the switch to enjoy patio lights under the house and in the pool area. And don't forget to turn on the pool light and pick your pool water color! Feeling chilly? Head into the hot tub for a relaxing soak before bed.
This wonderful "H" style home located on the highly desirable Lindbergh Ave in Kitty Hawk is less than 150 yards to direct beach access of miles of family and dog friendly beach! The open and spacious living, dining and kitchen is centrally located with two bedrooms on both sides. On one side, the King bedroom shares a full bathroom (tub/shower combo) with Twin and Full Beds. On the other side of the living area is a full hall bathroom (no tub) along with a Queen Bedroom and the two Twin Bedroom. Two front sliding doors give you access to a house length front deck where you can outdoor dine and see and hear the ocean. The large back deck leads to the keyless entry door as well as wonderful sunset skies.
Underneath the home you will find a cool entertainment space with a platform deck and outdoor lighting that is great for relaxing, escaping the sun or even escaping the rain! There's a fun "Selfie Station" and a fish cleaning table for all your freshly caught meals. The back of the house is where you will find the BBQ gas grill, Hot Tub, Turf with Cornhole, and of course the Pool and another break area under the back deck
There is a convenient Laundry/Utility room with a full-size washer and dryer, an extra full-size refrigerator/freezer, sand toys, bikes, chairs, and a beach cart. This is also a great space to store your luggage and coolers for the week. A keyless entry to this room provides additional security.
Lindbergh Avenue has sidewalks for walking or chalk art, is a safe street for jogging, walking your dogs, or riding bikes. The property's back yard backs up to a quiet access road for quiet strolls as well.
Whether you want to spend a full day at the beach or come and go at your pace; whether you love to worship the sun or admire it from under cover; if you love being at the beach and close to everything, this home will check all those boxes.

We are the owners of this extremely comfortable, family friendly beach house. We own an oceanfront cottage a couple blocks away. We understand the uncertainty of vacationing in a property "sight unseen" so we want to assure you that we are committed to providing you with transparency and honesty about the property. We use a highly skilled and thorough private cleaner who will make sure our home is presented to you at its cleanest. We perform both professional and private inspections for safety and maintenance of all utilities. Repairs are performed regularly. Our home is professionally treated and routinely inspected for bugs, including bed bugs. We value our guests and expect the reciprocal respect to our home.

Although our Oceanfront home provides the absolute best view of Kitty Hawk Beach, it is a smaller cottage and is well suited for a small family. With several requests for larger groups, we decided on Salt on the Rim. This home is still family friendly but with the unique layout, extra friends and in-laws or nannies can tag along without feeling crowded. There is a front and a back entrance to the home, each with a gated deck. The bedrooms are separated by the spacious kitchen and living room. Lindbergh Avenue is a quiet, residential neighborhood and just steps away from the beach, making the location perfect, safe and family friendly.
This property is perfectly situated in the heart of Kitty Hawk, our favorite town. Kitty Hawk has been able to maintain its charm by keeping the vintage style "beach boxes" along the shoreline. You won't find 20 bedroom "mega mansion" houses in Kitty Hawk. It is geared toward family groups of modest proportions. When it comes to convenience, you are in the perfect place. With a plethora of restaurants, grocery stores and shopping nearby, you can stay out of traffic and spend more time at the beach or the pool!

With an open floor plan, sky lights, 2 east facing sliding doors, there is plenty of natural light and room to spread out. The open living space separates the bedrooms on either side. Families with young children can also enjoy a shared bathroom (with a tub) which is helpful when young ones are sleeping in an unfamiliar house.
The first floor storage room where the full size washer/dryer is located boasts an additional full size refrigerator/freezer. This room provides added convenience and storage for any luggage and extra supplies guests may have brought, without crowding the home. Taking a break from the sun, or enjoying an evening outdoors is easy with the lighted decks under the house, fish cleaning station, a picnic table and additional seating. The backyard is a beautiful oasis with a private pool and hot tub, bbq grill, turf with cornhole boards and under the deck seating. There is a convenient gate to the side yard which is ideal for dog "business." This home could only have easier access to the beach if it were on the beach. The beach access is a speedy 150 yards/90 second walk away. We provide a wonderful beach cart to help make the short stroll easier. The Wilkins Beach access is wide and there are no homes immediately to the south, which makes the beach feel so much more spacious and not crowded. Lindbergh Ave is a well-maintained residential street with sidewalks for safe walking. Behind the home is an access road that not only provides a buffer from the busy Croatan Hwy but is also a quiet and enjoyable road to walk or ride a bike or take the dog out. This also provides easy access to all the OBX has to offer. With two decks, you can enjoy the eastern sunrise and the western sunset every day. The western deck provides under cover and eating space while you or the kids enjoy the pool. The eastern deck provides under cover from rain. This home is so comfortable that you will find yourself wanting to be a full time resident!
