The space
Lofty beamed ceilings, skylights, hardwood floors, three fireplaces, a living room, family room, formal dining room with outdoor access, and fully equipped kitchen with double ovens, Sub-Zero fridge, gas cooktop, dishwasher, and a dining nook that opens to the backyard deck and gardens. This charming, 3+ bedroom, 3 bathroom, single-family home accommodates up to eight guests for a soul nourishing weekend or extended family vacation in Carmel.

Enter the front yard with surrounding picket fence through a center gate… a brick pathway will lead you to the front door. Inside, warm colored hardwood floors, crisp white walls and beach-chic furnishings introduce the comfy-cool, modern vibe of the home’s 2,150± square foot, two-level interior.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths upstairs, including the master suite with a king-size bed, private balcony, wood burning fireplace and sky-lit bathroom with deep soaking tub. The bedrooms have dramatic vaulted ceilings and treetop views; two bedrooms have queen-size beds.

Open from the foyer, the privately situated living room has a Dutch door that can separate the room from other public rooms. The sofa opens to a queen-size bed in front of the fireplace, creating a 4th bedroom, if needed.

On the opposite side of the foyer is the family room with an elevated brick fireplace. This room opens to the formal dining room (seats 8), kitchen and accompanying dining nook (bistro table for 4). Combined, this gathering space is the hub of the home as it flows outdoors to the backyard deck and gardens through French doors, providing what is the quintessential California lifestyle.
The house is well appointed and includes central forced-air heat, luxurious bedding with down comforters, a Sonos sound system, two flat panel TVs (living room + family room), Netflix, Wi-Fi, an upstairs laundry closet and outdoor grill. We’ve even provided hair dryers, first aid kits and various sundries in the bathrooms, for your convenience. We do our best to provide everything you need for a delightful weekend stay or extended visit.
Guest access
As guests of River’s End, you will have full access to the house and its amenities, including the fully fenced front and back yards. The brick driveway accommodates parking for two cars. Garage use is not included. Bring your Peloton riding shoes for your daily workout.
