Relaxing

Just a beautiful location, paradise. Spent mornings in the covered porch, husband loved the lagoon for fishing. We brought kayaks and the kids loved it. The dogs enjoyed the large property as well.

Cannot beat location! Need to declutter house inside and out. Could have been cleaner. Loved view from house and private location. Beds comfortable. Communication with host very responsive.

Great getaway

We had a wonderful stay. 4 adults and 2 kids stayed. There was plenty of space and things to do at the house and around the island. Enjoyed an evening at Kiki’s restaurant. It is walking distance to the house. The kids enjoyed fishing, and playing frisbee and soccer in the yard. The house was clean, the view is priceless, and the house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!

Loved the private lagoon and yard! Our dog was in heaven the whole stay! This would be a great place to bring a power boat! The north and south winds limited our kayak use, but I did catch some barracuda from the point out front. Sunrises were very nice!

Very nice

All things were great BUT the two best things are 1) The proximity to the water. The lagon in front of the property was perfect to teach my 78 yr old Mom to paddleboard. When I wanted to go for an endless morning paddle on my board I had immediate access to the channel. The water was perfectly clear and there wasn’t a better way to spend a couple of my mornings on perfectly flat water. The view from the porch was also fantastic. 2) The proximity to Key West 30 mins, Marathon 30 mins and the grocery store 5-10 mins. This made our day trips easy. Little time in the car and access to everything we needed. Those 2 major thing said The cabin had everything we needed It was clean The beds were comfy Everything was as advertised. I’d love to bring my friends next time Thank you Jennifer for your communication and allowing us to stay in your great place.

We stayed two nights with five adults. Beautiful view, nice set up. Loved the porch and easy access. On the outside there were areas that needed to be cleaned up. Wet boxes, pile broken glass in the yard, old umbrella and ect. Was advertised as NO SMOKING. There was two large containers that held cigarette's butts right by the parking area. Being a NON-smoking family we could smell that every time we were near that end of the porch. Plus there was faint cigarette smell in the house. The floor was not clean through out the house. There were only four towels laid out. Had to search for one more. There was a couple older towels in the back of one of the vanities. The master bathroom toilet was very slow to flush when we arrived on the first evening. by the next morning nothing would go down. The fans did not work in neither of the bathrooms. The MB window shades did not go all the way down leaving at least a 10 inch gap. The queen size bed was not comfortable and needs to be updated. When notified the contact person was only concerned with the towels. There is a safety concern with checking in and out of this home. The door was left unlocked and the key left on the table. They do have camera set up but any one could go in there before we arrived or after we left. I would not have booked this unit if I had known that in advance. This unit or home cost way too much for the two nights we were there. Of course, they charge you a huge cleaning fee.

This property is fantastic and we highly recommend. Whether bringing your own boat, or renting one from next door from Dawn at Lower Keys Boat Rental - this is the perfect place to stay if you are planning to spend time on the water. There are pros and cons with every rental, so I have listed ours below:PROS:- Great location! You can find groceries and great food options very easily. This is a great spot to be secluded yet not too far off the beaten path. - Basin for Boating! The basin is wide enough and deep enough dock your boat regardless of winds or waters. - Easy Load-in to House! The house has a beautiful porch and just a few stairs to load your belongings into the house without having to lug them up a full story flight of stairs. - Pet Friendly! Our little guys loved staying at this property and it had plenty of yard for them to play and poop in. - Kitchen utensils are plentiful! Whether you are frying, boiling or steaming - you will have what you need here.CONS:- Lack of cleaning supplies and necessities: Be prepared to provide your own spray cleaning supplies as well as extra TP and papertowels. The provided cleaning supplies are lacking. - Boating to the Gulf: Unless you know the waters very well, getting to the Gulf from this location requires you to go out and around to one of the deeper channels to reach the Gulf. It is possible to get there from this location but unless you are confident in your path and the tides are right - don't chance it.

Fantastic location with a great view. House was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out couldn't have been easier. I didn't bring a boat down, but this would be ideal for someone with a small boat.

Prime location on water right down the street from Kiki’s restaurant. Close proximity to grocery and other shopping. Negative about property was that you couldn’t turn the air down past 75 degrees and didn’t disclose this information until a few days before check-in. Property had nice big bathrooms and was dog friendly which was great. Would stay again in cooler months.

There is mold in the house I understand it is an older house but my wife gets very sick when she smells mold there was a dead cockroach in both bathrooms sink holes that were not marked by the sea wall I figured there would of been a hose outside to rinse my boat and trailer off there was not besides that it was decent I really enjoyed our time there I’m not saying that stuff to be a pain in the butt was just a couple things I noticed to possibly prevent a future problem

We really enjoyed our stay. We took our 23 ft boat and a jetski and there was plenty of room on dock and in the driveway with trailers. My 2 dogs really enjoyed swimming in the canal. My only concern was the big hole in the yard near the retaining wall that someone could fall into and get hurt. Also, the LVP flooring in the house really needs replaced as it is a tripping hazard. One recommendation would be to have a vaccum guest could use. I have long haired dogs that love swimming which means they were shedding like crazy. Overall, I would definitely book this place again!

House needs maintenance. It was ready when we arrived, cleaned, great location, lots of restaurants, everything worked, we had our boat, dock was good but again needed some love. Outdoor furniture needs an upgrade. All together we were happy with our stay.

Great stay, plus!!!

Beautiful place, thank you for everything. The six of us fit comfortably in this Florida Keys getaway with the best sunrises around. *note* As we were driving out of the keys there was a major fire along the only highway out, Highway 1. The fire consumed over 26,000 acres of land and closed the highway down. The owner of this property not only told us that we could return for the night but she waved the fee. What an astounding gesture,! This is exactly the kind of business owner I would always want to support. Thank you so much!
