My name is Mike and like so many fortunate others who serendipitously landed in the Roaring Fork Valley, I love the outdoors.

The Roaring Fork Valley offers the very best of Colorado and Rocky Mountains. Its amazing mountain terrain and small town mountain communities (Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs), makes it one of the most beautiful, diverse, and fun places to live or vacation in not just the U.S., but the world.

My wife, Jill, and I have owned this property for almost ten years, calling it our home. For personal and professional reasons, we often travel and like to rent our home to anyone who wants to experience a little bit of La Dolce vita right in the heart of the Rocky Mountains! The very beautiful place that inspired the late John Denver to write and sign about.

Our Basalt townhome is in the heart of Colorado's picturesque Rocky Mountains! Not only is it charming, bright, clean, and rustic, but only 2--25 minutes from Aspen and Snowmass Mountains.

In addition to being in the center of this gorgeous and ecologically diverse river valley, our home is a great value for individuals, couples, or families looking for an extended visit or stay in this majestic mountain paradise.

Contemporary yet comfy, our modern-rustic home features a great room with vaulted ceiling, a ton of windows (and natural light), gas fireplace, flat screen TVs, and gourmet kitchen w/new stainless-steel stove, oven, refrigerator, and appliances.

The property is close to a plethora of outdoor activities, restaurants, and entertainment options. Everyone in your family should be able to find something to do, whether it's hiking, fly fishing, shopping, rafting, skiing, or dining out. We're also located in an award-winning planned community featuring plenty of green space, walking paths, private lake, playground, and Rugby field - just minutes from our front door!

The master bedroom, great room, and kitchen are all located on the second floor (main floor). The master bedroom features a large walk-in closet, tub, tiled shower, and private toilet.

The two guest rooms are located on the main level (ground floor), each with its own private bath/shower. The home has views of the surrounding mountains and faces south, allowing for plenty of sunlight and warmth during the typical blue-bird-sky day in Colorado.

Finally, our townhome is literally just a stones throw to the majestic Roaring Fork River and only a short drive to the Gold Medal Frying Pan River. We are a lovely five-minute walk to the famous Rio Grande trail, a 42-mile-long walking and biking trail connecting the entire Roaring Fork Valley from Aspen to Glenwood Springs.
