Kip's Mountain Getaway is a cozy, comfortable cabin in the heart of Massanutten Resort. The front porch is the perfect place to enjoy a mountain morning. The vaulted ceilings and open floor plan make this an ideal spot to gather with friends and family. Soak your stress away in the hot tub on the private screened porch, cozy up beside the gas fireplace, or lounge beside the mesmerizing flames of the gas fire table. Savor a cookout on the large deck with propane grill and plenty of seating, or play foosball in the garage recreation area. Book your stay at this lovely cabin for a fantastic mountain getaway.

All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available.

Two cars can park in front of the house and two cars in the garage driveway. Additional vehicles can park off the street or in resort parking lots. There is a two car garage, with one side locked and not available for guests' use. The other side is set up as a game room, so cars cannot park in it.

SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities.

This home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You'll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort's website. **Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends. We cannot guarantee access to the amenities and amenity closure/availability is not a refundable cancellation reason.**

*This home is located in the woods. You will likely see insects (including some that fly) and arachnids. Please be aware they may come inside when doors are opened, especially when lights are on inside.
*We are not able to honor early check in or late check out requests.
*Minimum age to book is 25.
*We require a signed rental agreement within 24 hours of reservation to avoid potential cancellation of your booking - this is sent via StreamSign to your email on file.

Clean any spills up immediately.
No parties or events.
No illegal substances.
No eating or drinking in the bedrooms.
Furniture should not be re-arranged.
Please don't put food down the garbage disposal.
No smoking inside the house. Smoking in the house will incur a $750 fine. Smoking is allowed outside of the house but all butts are to be cleaned up and safely removed
Fires are strictly prohibited at this property, except in the propane fire table provided. You are not allowed to build a campfire or use a firepit/barrel - A minimum fine of $700 will be assessed to cover local fines, as well as any direct damage/cleanup expenses will be billed back.
This home has a gas grill - Charcoal is not allowed. If you use charcoal in the gas grill you will be billed for damages (including but not limited to a new grill.)
Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. during which time the noise from the house shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors
Turn off all lights when leaving the property.
Please read the check out instruction on the refrigerator and in the Welcome Book. Note that check out is at 10 a.m.
Interior locked closets are off limits to guests.
Only registered guests are to be in the house.
Leave the doors and windows closed if the heat or AC is in us.e
Trash must be taken to the dumpster near the house at check out. A minimum fee of $75 will be assessed if trash is not removed
