We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home! Summer weather, so we lounged at the pool, drove our golf cart around town to Lenny's, Pearson's seafood, Ice House, Dockside Tiki and general touring. Home looks just like the pictures. It's open, nicely stocked, not cluttered & nice decor. Highly recommend!

This was the first time we did not need to contact the host for ANYTHING. The house was immaculate, fully stocked with everything we needed, clear instructions for check in and check out, and the property itself was gorgeous. Highly recommended to other travelers.

We loved the property. The pools was great and it was so nice to have the covered porch there with the grill. The kitchen was large and well appointed. We were able to fish on the dock and made good use of the kayaks. All in all it was a great place to stay

We loved our stay! It house was perfect and had everything we need and more. We spent most of our time by the pool, which had the shaded deck area which was great to have. The water view from everywhere in the house was so nice. We will definitely be back! Shannon was a great host.

Thank you, Shannon, for being a wonderful and accommodating hostess and sharing your beautiful, well appointed, waterfront home with us! Our “kids” joined us for relaxation, as well as to celebrate their recent engagement and my birthday. It was perfect! There was plenty of space for all of us, while enjoying the sports equipment, game room, kayaking, playing corn hole or just floating in the pool. The golf cart accessibility was a big plus, and we rented a golf cart to visit nearby stores, go out to local restaurants, and explore the town. It was always fun to stop along the way to say a brief “hello” to the horses next door. The house was great however, we were told the day before we arrived that the pool was undergoing maintenance and would be unavailable during our stay. We had hoped to be out by the pool during our stay. We could have chosen other properties without pools if we had known that this was the case at less expense. This was disappointing.

Paradise Found in Colonial Beach with a spectacular view and incredible host!If you're looking for a place to go and unplug that is peaceful, clean, comfortable, privately situated, beautifully appointed and with many ways to relax and re-energize, this is the property you're looking for! We arrived by boat and the dock suited us perfectly.We brought our bikes and explored the area and then swam in the well maintained pool afterward. We rented a golf cart to get to the grocery store, church and restaurants. All were very close by. We also shot some hoops, took the kayaks out to explore, and took walks at night after dinner. I was able to get through a novel for the first time in many moons while chilling at the pool and it was awesome!The property is very well maintained inside and out. It shows like a model home, yet is also very comfortable. The kitchen has every appliance and tool you need, and we cooked in most nights making use of the grill as well. The views are amazing from every room facing the water and the property is very private, so you feel as if you're at your own private resort!Shannon is incredibly responsive and is by far the best host we have dealt with, and we have had quite a few that went above and beyond. She checks all the boxes and then some. She went out of her way on so many levels with a very positive and professional demeanor. We hope to visit this lovely property again and again for as long as she continues to kindly share it.

We enjoyed our stay! The home was clean, offered boat dock and quick access, great private pool, and the home owner was very helpful with providing guidance.
