Immerse yourself in the beauty of The Great Smoky Mountains with a stay in this secluded and luxurious chalet! This newly-built cabin retreat offers a spacious, open floor plan with high ceilings and gorgeous natural lighting. The fully-stocked gourmet chef's kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances will help you entertain the group and create lasting memories together.

With breathtaking views, the living room hosts an easy-to-use gas fireplace to keep you cozy in front of the 65-inch Smart TV for movie nights in. Two of the three bedrooms also have their own Smart TV.

It wouldn't be a true mountain getaway without a beautiful backyard area complete with a charcoal grill, perfect for preparing a nice smoky meal, and stone fire pit, ideal for after dinner star-gazing and storytelling. When it gets cold, there's nothing better than relaxing with a glass of wine or favorite cocktail from the steamy hot tub (views of Mt. LeConte included for free)!

One of the best things about this Chalet is the location! Just 1.5 miles from Downtown Gatlinburg and mere steps away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, it is conveniently located with all major attractions, shops, and trails close by.

No matter the season, there is something magical about a mountain cabin retreat! While there are many wonderful locations in the world to visit, nothing compares to our little corner of paradise, and we are so excited to share it with you!

Great property! Super location close to town and the national park. We had a wonderful stay at this chalet. We really enjoy the Bear and her two cubs the first morning. Great way to start our vacation. Hot tub was a nice bonus after long days of hiking. Overall an excellent experience for the family!

Wonderful Chalet

We enjoyed our stay in the Smokey Mountains, and this chalet was the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and get away from it all. The property was conveniently located and had all the amenities to make our vacation relaxing and trouble-free. Great Cabin

Cute cabin in great shape. The driveway is a little steep, but that's pretty common in Gatlinburg. Enjoyed our brief stay and the fire place and hot tub were great amenities.

Fantastic stay at great location!

"Home in the Hills" really does bring it home. Fantastic location at the park entrance and city entrance making it a breeze at getting to either destination. The cabin is packed with everything you could think to need in the kitchen while the fireplace and jacuzzi really compliment the coziness. We'd love to stay again.

Wonderful Stay in Great Smoky Mountains

This house was perfect for our family (2 adults and 2 toddlers) vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains. The house is located just outside of downtown Gatlinburg and nearest park entrance is a 5 min drive. Even though the house is centrally located, it feels like a private oasis perched up on the mountain. The house had everything we needed and Irene was a very responsive host.

The chalet is just far enough from Gatlinburg to feel secluded, but close enough to see the sights in the Park. The chalet is very nicely designed. Very comfortable and well appointed. A little oasis in the hubbub. So inviting and relaxing.

Welcome to the Hills Of Home Chalet! My family and I have always loved hiking and vacationing in the majestic Smoky Mountains. This cabin was a dream come true to build, and we would like to share its beauty and inspiration with all of our guests. We are a creative family in music and the performing arts, and if you are too, perhaps you will be inspired to create your next great work here. However you spend your time, we hope you will enjoy your stay and leave feeling refreshed and inspired!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

After an extensive 2.5 year search for a property in the Smokies with no luck, we decided to build our own cabin! The location of the lot could not have been more perfect for us as it is so close to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Downtown Gatlinburg, the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort, and all Chalet Village pools and recreation areas. Because it is located so near the wild forest, seeing bear, bobcat, wild turkey, and many different species of wildlife is commonplace. This just adds to the magic and charm!

Cove Mountain Trail is just above the property line, and you could step outside and hike without having to drive anywhere. Come back to the cabin and relax in the hot tub on the spacious deck where you will have seasonal views of the glorious mountains.
Please use caution at all times as black bear also live here. NEVER leave food in your car and lock all doors. NEVER leave the cabin doors open as the bear will make themselves at home and walk inside. They also know how to open door knobs. It's best to keep the cabin doors locked when you are inside. It is very important for guests to understand that feeding bear intentionally or otherwise is ILLEGAL and will result in a citation. Feeding bear is a direct path to them eventually having to be euthanized!!! Don't do it!!!
