The home was in fairly good shape. It had plenty of room for our party of 19. The host, Better Beach Rentals, was quite helpful with needed information. The one or two issues we had were addressed quickly and efficiently. Definitely would rent again!

Perfect location. Spacious. Best house for large family gathering.

Family reunion

Property was all that was advertised. Six of our seven children and their families were very comfortable and enjoyed everything, especially bing close to the beach.

Great space for a large group

Location is great. A minute walk to the beach. Lots of space we had 22 people and never felt packed in. Wish there was a little more seating for eating but we made due and utilized the living room. Pool and hot tub was not cleaned when we arrived but was a bad weather day, they showed up next day to clean it and it was great. Would stay here again in a heart beat if we needed a large space again.

The host was responsive with return email in 24 hours. We appreciated the keyless entry with code since we arrived later on check in day. The hot tub was on when we arrive, it looked nice. We had a short stay, just the weekend so we overlooked a lot of things but if you are staying longer you might not want to. The upkeep of the property was not what I expected with the word RENOVATED. The kitchen is pretty but needs a good cleaning and newer pots and pans, they are very used and scratched up. The counter tops has sticky rings and were gritty, the floors were not mop, you could see spills and our feet turned brown, so we all left shoes on. The cabinet that held the trash can was not on the track so we put the trash by the back door. Something had been spilled down the island cabinet and not cleaned. The freezer on the right needs maintenance. We left the kitchen cleaner then we found it. The light fixtures in the bathrooms were very rusted. Some showers had just the cloth decretive curtain and no liner and one had only a plastic liner. The bathroom with just the liner has paint peeling at the top of the shower. The door knob to the bathroom in the shared main floor bed and bath was loose along with a few others, the stair tread has screws all through it, was surprised at that. There were old cigarette butts in the driveway by the fence and in the yard. Not sure what was renovated. Maintenance said they would fix issues once we left, so should be good for the next guest.

Great house for a large group

This is a great house for large groups. It was clean and communication was excellent. We did have some issues: The overhead lights in the main gathering room didn't work which was a big problem for us. We reported it and a repair crew was sent out but they didn't fix it. Other issues that weren't reported: Hot water heater did not work at times, one of the sofa beds was broken, there were 0 blankets in the house, wrong sized sheets were left on a few beds, reclining sofa in gathering space is broken, some bathroom sinks and tubs had clogged drains so they drained very slowly, large roach in the main gathering area. The house needs some basic maintenance to address these concerns.
