Clean, spacious, and well-appointed 3 bed/3 bath townhouse style condo with private entrances and comfortable furnishings. Wake up every morning to the sun rising over gorgeous views of Engineer Mountain, Twilight Peaks, and the Needles Mountain Range. High speed internet access allows you to work remotely while enjoying the mountain views from most rooms of the condo, or from one of our 2 private balconies. The resort is perfectly situated between Durango and Silverton along the Million Dollar Highway and less than 2 miles from Purgatory Resort. There are many year-round activities surrounding Cascade Village, including hiking trailheads. There is a well-priced ski equipment rental shop at the lodge, and Purgatory ski shuttle pick up right outside the parking garage. This allows you to avoid the hassles of parking and renting at Purgatory. Our renovated, three (3) bedroom/three (3) full bathroom mountain home is located at Cascade Village and sleeps up to 10 (8 adults). There is a large loft with new memory foam sleeper sofa, and a traditional (coil mattress) sleeper sofa in living room for extra sleeping areas. Guest will enjoy the fully equipped, open concept kitchen, full size washer & dryer, high speed internet/WiFi, phone, work area, and smart TVs throughout unit. The unit is two story with covered parking below (semi enclosed garage). There is also a main level entrance (with 2 stairs) in the back from a seasonal loading/unloading alleyway so you can unload items at the main floor of the unit (weather permitting). Cascade Village is a peaceful mountain resort set in the San Juan National Forest and offers many year-round community amenities. These amenities include an indoor pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a game room, a gym, tennis/pickle ball courts, grills, and a large lawn with sport nets, horseshoe pits, fire pits and a pond.

1st Floor:

-Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, full size refrigerator with ice maker, full size oven and convection stove top. Combination Keurig/standard coffee maker. Well stocked with quality pots, pans, crockpots, air fryer, electric griddle, ice cream maker, seasonings, utensils, and more.
-Dining room with table for 6 and counter height bar with seating for an additional 4. Private balcony off dining room.
-The sofa bed in living room is an older coil mattress type and only suitable for small children, but the sofas are very comfortable for sitting/lounging.
-Laundry closet with full size, front load HE washer and dryer.

2nd Floor:
-Primary Bedroom with 1 King Bed, ensuite full bathroom with oversized shower, walk in closet, ceiling fan, Smart TV, and private balcony
-Guest Bedroom with 2 full size bedsk, ceiling fan, Smart TV, and walk in closet
-Loft with new memory foam queen sleeper sofa that is very comfortable for adults, ceiling fan, Smart TV, desk, and game cabinet.

Community amenities include: a large, heated pool (indoor), multiple hot tubs (indoor/outdoor), sauna, men/women's locker rooms, tennis/pickleball courts, fitness center, game room and lounge area, soccer and volleyball nets, horseshoe pit, fire pit, seasonally stocked fishing pond, gas grills, and picnic tables. Ski equipment rentals on property (better rates than on mountain). Seasonal ski shuttle to Purgatory is provided free of charge at scheduled intervals and an on-demand shuttle service is provided for a small fee (managed and booked through Purgatory).

Area activities: snow skiing/boarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding, snow tubing, snowcat tours, mountain biking, hiking (trail heads on property), alpine slide (summer), mountain coaster (winter), ATV/Jeep tours, Gold Medal fishing, Durango Narrow Gauge Railroad (Polar Express Train during Christmas season), river rafting, Mesa Verde National Park, horseback riding, zip-lining, Durango Hot Springs (year-around and no sulfur), local breweries and over 100 restaurants in the Durango area. The property is just off the Million Dollar Highway with breathtaking scenery. It is also a short drive to Silverton, CO with additional activities and restaurants. Ouray, CO is also an easy day trip along one of the most beautiful highways in America.

Purgatory Resort is 2 minutes down the road, but you are away from the noise and much more in tune with nature at Cascade Village.

No units at Cascade Village have A/C. But at approximately 9000 ft elevation, the temperatures remain comfortable during the summer months (average high in the 70s). The windows and sliding doors are screened and fans are provided for every room. The design of the unit also allows cross ventilation. There are only shared walls on either side of the unit. No one is above or below the unit. All entrances to the unit are private.
