DIRECT FLIGHTS FROM SOUTH FLORIDA:
MAKERS AIR offers great charter service direct to Stella Maris Airport. Please inquire with them for more information. It is also possible to fly directly to the Stella Maris Resort on private aircraft. Within minutes, you can clear customs/immigration and be enjoying a cocktail overlooking the Atlantic. The villa is less than a mile from the runway. Our property manager will greet you at the airport… and arrange a taxi to drive you directly to the villa.

ISLAND VILLA is surrounded by the resort amenities of Stella Maris which includes bars, private beaches, pools and restaurants. Everything is within easy walking distance! Stella Maris offers daily excursions and activities such as sea kayaking, snorkeling, beach combing, scuba diving, bone-fishing, reef fishing, eco-tours, deep sea fishing, etc...

But wait, there’s more... swim in sea caves, explore shipwrecks, bar hop, explore architectural ruins, swim with pigs, walk sandy beaches, visit rock pools, drift thru tidal lagoons, island cuisine, rum punch parties, lobstering, conching and historical sites!

Long Island is world-famous for it's pristine waters and endless miles of white, sandy beaches and coves.

The villa features a total of 2 Bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a Great Room (combined kitchen/dining/living) and a spectacular pool terrace overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

You have free access to the stunning pools/beaches of Stella Maris Resort.

A rental car is not necessary to enjoy yourself, however, rental cars are strongly recommended for longer stays and/or if you'd like the freedom to explore the entire island at your leisure.

Prior to your arrival, you can email a shopping list to our property manager and your fridge/pantry will be stocked when you arrive.

IT’S EASY TO GET HERE:
In many cases Long Island is just two flights away. Most guests fly into Nassau (NAS). From there, it is a short and scenic flight with Stella Maris Resort Air Service to get to Long Island. Please refer to their website for more info. In addition, Southern Air Charter offers scheduled service into Stella Maris Airport; please refer to their website for specific info. Lastly, Bahamasair offers scheduled service to Deadman’s Cay Airport on Long Island (about an hour south of Stella Maris).

All persons are required to have a valid passport for travel to The Bahamas (certain nationalities may require a Visa). If arriving into Stella Maris Airport, our property manager will greet you at the airport. You will need to use a taxi service or your rental car to get to the villa... only two minutes away!

FLYING TO STELLA MARIS VIA NASSAU (NAS):
This is the most common route taken to Long Island. Nassau International Airport is the major air hub for the Bahamas with many direct flights from the USA, Canada & London. Major carriers include Jet Blue, American Airlines, Delta, United, Air Canada, British Airways, West Jet and Bahamasair. Upon arrival in Nassau, you will need to clear customs/immigration and then take a short flight to Long Island. Stella Maris Resort Air Service can pick you up in Nassau and fly you directly to Stella Maris in one of their resort aircraft. This flight is extraordinarily beautiful and lasts about one hour. Rock Hill is less than a mile from the runway.

Stella Maris Resort Air Service is the preferred way to reach Stella Maris. However, Southern Air Charter, Island Wings Charter & Bahamasair also offer daily flights to Stella Maris and Deadman's Cay Airport. Please note that Stella Maris Airport is much more convenient.

Bahamasair offers flights between Nassau and Deadman's Cay on Long Island. Please note that this airport is about 45 minutes south of Stella Maris.

FLYING TO STELLA MARIS VIA GEORGETOWN, EXUMA (GGT):
This is another common way to get to Long Island. Georgetown, Exuma is served by many direct commercial flights from the USA, Canada & London. Upon arrival in Georgetown, you will need to clear customs/immigration and take a short 20-minute flight to Long Island.

DIRECT FLIGHTS FROM SOUTH FLORIDA:
MAKERS AIR offers great charter service direct to Stella Maris Airport. You can purchase individual seats OR charter the entire plane. Please inquire with them for more information. It is also possible to fly directly to the Stella Maris Resort on private aircraft. Within minutes, you can clear customs/immigration and be enjoying a cocktail overlooking the Atlantic.
