Wonderful

It rained most of our time but…. We had a wonderful time with a teenagers. We guide to kayak when it wasn’t raining. We got time out on the deck. We had kids that had no electronics for three days. They played more games dominoes card games went down and had ping-pong tournament. We had foosball tournaments. We played chest. The time there spent as a family was great no fights. Everybody kept busy if you have a big family they had a big room upstairs that slept all six of my grandsons and the girls were downstairs. In the lower level on adults were on the main floor. It was. It was very, very good.

Amazing

The house is Beautiful!!!! The lake was tons of fun for the entire family!! We never had to leave the property so much to do and all family members enjoyed themselves. All questions were answered by the host immediately and lacked for nothing. We would for sure stay again. Thank you to the host and his family for allowing us this great family reunion!!!

Great Family Week

Great house on the lake. Lots of hangout space for all ages. We rented a boat for the week and took it out every day, too. Only 10 min to town for groceries. Everything was as described.

We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving here!

This is a sparkling clean beautiful home in a very upscale neighborhood on a very pretty lake. The kids slept in the bunk room, the family with the new baby and 2 year old took the primary suite with room in the walk in closet for the toddler’s little bed. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were all very comfortable. The host answered questions ASAP and helped us enjoy the long weekend without any problems. You might note that if you have a large group, and you stay a few days, you will need to bring extra toilet paper, foil, laundry soap, zip lock bags, trash bags,dishwasher soap, a few extra kitchen towels and dish cloths, and other items that are consumable. We were informed of this before our arrival so it was no problem. Many thanks to our hosts for a lovely vacation/holiday in a wonderful and safe setting!

Great Stay, Great Memories!

Excellent lake house with beautiful view! Loved the house for our multi-family vacation. Great big wrap around porch with lake views enjoyed by all every morning and night. Clean, spacious, and well appointed. Dock was perfect for our water toys and great to swim off with ladder for easy access. Host was quick to respond and easy to work with. All ages enjoyed their stay and were grateful to create fun family memories at the lake. Wi-fi needs improvement, but owner made us aware before we arrived. Our crafty teens found ways to download shows while on the lake where access was better. Overall, great house, good location, beautiful views. We will book again!!

This home was perfect for our family reunion. There was plenty of space to accommodate 15 people. We enjoyed the large gathering areas, porch, and water activities by the dock. We enjoyed our stay and would consider renting this property again.

Amazing House on the Lake

CLEAN and NEW feeling home. Excellent location right on Lake Barkley. Perfect private dock. We boated up and down Lake Barkley and also boated to Hu-B's for ice cream. This is a perfect family get away spot!

Trinity house was great

Best was our own dock in a nice cove and a boat ramp 10 minutes away so we could all enjoy all types of water activities.

Magnificent Rental Property

Every year six of us come to the annual AQS Quilt Show in Paducah, Kentucky. We were tired of renting awful hotel rooms and being crammed into tiny spaces. After looking on VRBO we found this magnificent property and thought it was probably going to be too good to be true. But it was even better! The house sits on a beautiful piece of property right on the lake. It's gorgeous and the pictures don't do it justice. The owners were super quick with communication and any questions we had were quickly answered. And every morning on our way to Paducah we saw wild turkeys, deer, racoons, rabbits....it was a wildlife adventure! I would HIGHLY recommend this property!

Winter Retreat by the lake

The house had plenty of space. My biggest complaint would be the house is for 20 guest but there was only maybe 20 forks and 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and only two trash bags in the kitchen. The exterior of the home had cob webs and wasp nest in several areas.

Beautiful home and location

The home is beautiful and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the games, hanging out around the fire pit, kayaks and loved that the lake was so close. We’re hoping to come back again during the summer months when the kids can swim.

Family Weekend Getaway

This was such a great house for our family getaway. There were 3 generations ranging in age from 6-68. While this is a lakefront property, it was perfect for our February mini-vacation. We were able to fish, have a fire for s’mores, play games inside & outside & have lots of family game time. The kitchen was great for cooking & snacking. And, there a several great restaurants just minutes away. Just exactly what we were hoping for!

Perfect Home

We travelled from Central Kentucky down to Lake Barkley for a guys golf trip. The eight of us had a great time. This property was everything advertised and more. Beautiful home inside and out and the lake view is amazing. The home was clean and tidy and provided the basic items needed for our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out watching football in the basement or just sitting on the deck enjoying the view. More than once someone commented we should just come back here every year. This place is awesome. Only problem for the whole trip was we couldn’t have a campfire due to state burn restrictions..not the owner’s fault. We will be back!

Family Lake Trip

Our family always takes a fall trip together. This was by far the best lake house we have stayed in. Beautiful views, plenty of space for a large family, great location, very clean, and great hosts! My family already asked if we could stay here again next year :)

Beautiful Lake House

This lake house was perfect for our gathering. Plenty of room to spread out and be able to get away, with great common areas for gathering. The kitchen is stocked with bare essentials, so you may need to bring a few extra items. Overall a great experience! Looking forward to coming back someday.

Highly recommend for large groups

We had a large group of adult couples and many of our adult children opted to join us. This house was more than large enough for all of us and provided ample space to spread out, but also visit together. We spent a lot of time eating and playing games on the huge covered deck. Plenty of table place and rocking chairs to enjoy! The house was beautiful with an amazing view of the water. There was even pack of deer that hung out at the neighbors each evening. As a tip since the description didn’t give details, there is a Master/ensuite on the main floor as well as a queen size bedroom. A half bath is available for guests on the main floor as well. The walkout basement includes a gaming area as well as a large living area with sofa and TV, and a large bedroom with 2 queen beds and en-suite bath with a tub. This was perfect for our friends with a 3 y/o. Upstairs are two more queen bedrooms with en-suite baths as well as the large loft area, which features 2 twin over full/queen bunks, 2 twin trundle beds and two fold-out sofas, and two giant bean bags the young adults enjoyed. The dock was great for fishing, kayaking, and even swimming. Had weather been better, we would have rented a pontoon to dock at the house. The Wi-Fi, as noted, is very spotty as is cell service (AT&T particularly), but it wasn’t needed other than submitting a school paper. The road to the house was windy and a little hilly, but it was great for morning runs with very little traffic and nice views. We were more than pleased with out stay and are thinking of returning for another trip! Friendly tip: bring extra cleaning supplies for kitchen. I’m sure these tend to disappear with some renters, so it’s nice to have what you prefer with you. There is also a dollar general nearby should you need anything. Enjoy!!
