Unpleasant stay
To reach unit 310, we walked down a dingy hallway with filthy carpet. Unit 310 was at the end. It was unsettling to say the least. Upon entering the condo, it was very old and in need of many updates. We were trying to keep an open mind about the unit since we would be staying here for the entire week.
The app said all towels and bed sheets are in every Vacasa condo, well, they must have forgotten the dingy room at the end of the hall. There was not a towel or sheet around. I tried calling the 800 number, waited forever and didn’t get to speak to anyone. Needless to say, we were tired and wanted to shower so we went out and bought what we needed. This wasn’t an expense we were wanting or expecting and felt we should be refunded since this was unexpected. Finally after many calls and e-mails to Vacasa, I was refunded for the towels and sheets we purchased a week later. Not once did anyone say they were sorry for our inconvenience. Customer service doesn’t exist anymore, they just waNted to get me off of the phone as quickly as possible. I never write reviews, but this was unacceptable and never should have happened. It’s bad enough the unit is less than pleasant, and then to have the necessary items missing is just not how anyone wants to start a vacation. I feel if I wouldn’t have continued calling and emailing Vacasa last week, I would have been forgotten about and never would have been refunded. After all, they received there payment in full.
