Fantastic Tahoe Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property management company was professional, concise with their communication, and was thorough with their instructions. The house was spotless when we arrived and was provided the proper amenities for our guest stay. Location was excellent and made easy access to the outdoor activities which we had planned. It is a quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were friendly and enjoyed listening to one of them playing the acoustic guitar one night.Only reason why they didn’t get a perfect review is because some of the kitchen table chairs were due for maintenance / replaced and the upstairs shower had low water pressure issues. All of which was a small insignificant matter which can be fixed. Would definitely recommend this property to friends or anyone else that would like a Tahoe getaway.

Cute cabin nestled in the perfect location

We had a great stay for a bachelorette wknd. Great cabin, great location. Close enough to Uber to nightlife but we also stayed in one night cooked dinner played games etc. Awesome host thanks again.

Great Getaway

We came up for a weekend with friends. The house is super clean. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Neighbors were nice. Communication with the property managers was excellent! Could not have asked for more.

Perfect for Family

The house was a very comfortable place for our family to enjoy our stay in the Lake Tahoe area! There was plenty of room for us all together in the living room and dining room and prepare meals in the kitchen. The kids had fun in the backyard, which was huge! And it was a short drive to the grocery store and restaurants. An area that would enhance our stay next time is newer/updated sheets for the beds and a new mattress on the full size bed upstairs. Overall, we’d definitely stay again.

We loved being farther out from the tourist area. Relaxing, great location, all comforts of home

Spacious and relaxing for four adults. All the comforts of home. Michelle the manager communicated well. Wonderful to sit on back or front decks and take in the forested area in morning, sipping a hot beverage. Great location and, for most part, quiet neighborhood, except for the nearby neighbor who insisted on banging on his roof until sundown each night, and the next door neighbor lady who decided to talk loudly outside around 2am one night (note: if you're somewhat allergic to animal dander, don't pet her dog - immediate hives). Not sure prop mgmnt folks can control that. Also, know there's little soundproofing between 1st and 2nd floor, so those below can hear most sounds from 2nd floor directly above. Overall, it worked fine for our group. Would stay again!

No heat upstairs with exception of electric blankets. Dishware silverware old but serviceable. Great room very comfortable. Basic cable. Backyard and back deck a mess.. keep your car locked with no food in it. We were lucky as a bear entered ours but didn’t destroy anything.

Thank you for the notes-greatly appreciated. I have cleaned up the back deck, but the wind storms this year have been amazing. Yes Bears have been very active this year, one destroyed my assistants car and she has lived here 28 years and knew not to leave anything in her car. Lock your doors and remove anything with any sort of scent, even air freshners.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Yard was overgrown, tall grass, weeds. Inside was ok, had to air out it smelled old & musty. Was told there were ceiling fans in each room, wrong!! Only one small box fan for both floors and house was unbearably hot upstairs. Glad we only had a 4 day stay. Beds were comfortable, nice patio set, plenty of sofas for seating.

We supplied 2 box fans and a stand up fan, I don't believe we ever said ceiling fans, if someone did I apologize. You were hear unfortunately during a record breaking heat wave. Thank you for the feedback, the property is "naturally" landscaped no grass. We are sorry you were not satisfied with your stay.

Pics were a bit deceiving…

We booked our 4th of July weekend stay 3+ months in advance. Upon check-in, we found the rental to not quite meet what we felt was presented in the photos for the following reasons… - The yard was not maintained - Several rows of roof shingles were missing over the from door and several hanging off the front of the house, not a good impression when we arrived :( - Plus nextdoor neighbor property super sketchy - The back deck was completely demolished with random construction gear in the yard, leaving no comfortable 4th of July patio grilling/seating. Big bummer. Unfortunately, it was not comfortable to spend time outside of the cabin due to unkempt yard. The front deck was not inviting, a few dusty plastic chairs and no other furnishings. One week before our arrival, there was a quick mention of back demo in email. Nothing we could do at that point on a holiday weekend! - Thick cobwebs in the beams above the bed in the master, felt dusty/dingy upstairs. Surprisingly, zero lake towels provided nor any useful items for a day at the lake, such as a cooler, umbrella, etc. Not having to buy these sorts of things (for family travel) SHOULD be a perk of staying at a rental home versus a hotel. A fan in each room would go a long way in the summertime as this property does not have A/C. We found 1, but there are 3 bedrooms. All beds comfortable, except the full in the 2nd room upstairs (too hard). Small investments by the owner would make this rental much better. Thx!

Thank you so much for the feedback greatly appreciated. The back deck and roof are a work in progress-last winter was very tough on all our homes and it has been a struggle to get things taken care of quickly-but we are working on it. I will make sure to add a few more fans and dust the cobwebs.

Nice area

Everything was ok except the kitchen table was a little dirty, some cobwebs and the toilet downstairs was crooked and to close to the cabinet, I keept hitting my behind every time I used it. It needs to be move more to the tub so you don’t hit your but with the toilet paper holder.
